Just called in for a quote for a mirror estimate. A guy picked up the phone was nice until I asked if he could frost/sandblast the edges of a mirror. He said no, and I didn't hear him and asked him again to clarify and he said no again. I said ok I would need frost but thank you. He then said "what part of no did you not understand" Sooo... nice enough till he thinks you'll do business with him or until you ask him to repeat a question. read more

Flat Glass to the rescue! Thankful for these guys. A panel in the window on my backdoor fell out, leaving me with a lack of security as well as a very cold draft entering the home. Honest, super friendly and the best deal in town. I spoke with Lauren over the phone for a special made piece of glass. i had lots of specifications (starphire, tempered, etc). He gave me a quote in no time. When he later learned the quality and clarity could not be guaranteed and so he went about sourcing the highest quality piece that could be guaranteed. As amazing as this was for him to take the time to do he also insisted on honoring his original quote...which was far lower than the end price. Even the full price was well below competitors quotes. Called at 12-ish, made same day appointment for 3pm, Fast Glass guys arrived at 3pm, and window was repaired (and area totally cleaned) by 3:45pm. The price was fair and exactly as quoted over the phone. They are very professional,and fully explained the process, which enabled me to learn a few things about window repair. As soon as I post this review, I am calling them back to repair a wooden sash window that has never been opened since I bought my house. My wife will be so happy! Side note: I observed (by the dozen or so phone calls they received while at my place) that these guys are very busy and don't have time to talk you through your window problems, convert metric to US units for you, and/or haggle over price while they work...TRUST that they know what they're doing, because they do. read more

Great service! I had a 40 year old window that my son broke on a neighbor's house. No one else had the glass and the price to replace it was at least double on the 2 other quotes I received. Loren the owner and his son Jaims are fast, efficient workers. What I am truly impressed with is the way they clean up after themselves, being the neat freak I that I am. Today Loren tried about 3 different ways to get into my 1920s 15 paned glass front door, before having to break the safety glass, which makes a huge mess, usually. He ended having to break the glass but somehow contained it to a small circle in his work space! What Loren quotes you over the phone is what you pay!! No shady upcharges. No feeling leery about giving them your check or credit card. To top it off, they are the nicest guys to chat with. They did an OK job removing giant glass pieces from the wall, but scheduling was a bit difficult and I'm not impressed with the quality of the work. I explained what was being done with the wall afterwards, but I had to clean up some of the stuff they left, including some broken glass pieces on my hardwood floor and remove the railing that held the glass. I felt the price I paid for what was a pretty quick job should have included those extra steps. read more
