    I literally waited maybe 15 minutes to have our car smog checked! Very professional, very friendly & efficient. I will definitely return

Unfortunately, we experienced the same situation that several others have reported for the U-Haul Saviers road location in Oxnard. We booked our U-Haul online days before including the dolly's we wanted and everything. As soon as we arrived there, the man behind the counter started with multiple lies to try and cover for why none of it was available. He tried to say we had booked for the wrong day, then said they didn't have the type of U-Haul we needed, and then said they don't have the dolly's we needed. Being that we had planned days in advance and received confirmations of such, we showed him the receipts, at that point the gentleman behind the counter started changing his tune. He was able to give us some of what we had reserved but then began questioning why we needed some of the items. I wonder if this was because they didn't have all of the items our family reserved? My opinion is that this location is not organized and let our family down, that was a very inconvenient and unnecessarily difficult situation. A family shouldn't have to scramble to get second choice options and be questioned about why they need the ones they'd reserved. Please do better, it's not professional.

All the other quotes I got were way too expensive to consider, but the Dudes saved me! Very reasonably-priced, friendly, easy to work with. Their service doesn't come with all the bells and whistles that more expensive moving companies have, it's more like having a buddy or two (or more) come help you move - or just completely take care of things for you while you sit on the sidelines. But that's exactly what I needed, and I will definitely be calling on their help again!

But I was still charged for his time! Then they ended up racing through our job and damaged several pieces of furniture. When I pointed out an obvious scratch and chip in the finish on my dining room table, they started making all sorts of excuses about how they didn't do it but it was obvious they did. I had eaten breakfast at that table that morning and it was perfect. They then continued to complain about how they didn't do the damage the rest of the time instead of focusing on the job. As we are moving boxes and unpacking, we have discovered multiple pieces of furniture that have been damaged and marred by their carelessness, including an irreplaceable dresser I inherited from my grandfather. We will never use this service again. We wish we had paid more and gotten real, responsible movers! We have continued to find damage as we unpack. These guys damaged almost every piece of furniture they touched. There are also gouges in our freshly painted walls. Help ignored our emails reporting this. We Look elsewhere!

From the start of getting a quote, scheduling and then us needing a reschedule, they were so communicative. Kyle and his team called the morning of to let us know they were on their way and got there early. They loaded up so quickly, made sure everything was packed safely and secure. We even had two pick up stops for a storage unit and a house. Kyle's team made sure and accommodate us with placing items needing access for 2nd pickup easily for us. I really appreciated the communication in the drive so we could appropriately time the unload since we were driving 6 hours. If you want movers that are hardworking, careful, respectful and efficient, then these are your guys.

Over Easter weekend, I had arranged for a 7-seat vehicle and received a clear confirmation from your staff. We relied on that confirmation when planning our transportation. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the vehicle was no longer available. This contradiction was both frustrating and unacceptable, as it directly impacted our plans. During this interaction, I expressed frustration at the situation, which I believe was reasonable given the circumstances. At no point did I threaten any employee. Despite this, one staff member accused me of making threats--an allegation that is completely false and appears to have been used to deflect from the failure to honor the original commitment. We then attempted to resolve the issue at a second location, but were denied service based solely on the claim that I was "upset." While I was indeed frustrated, my behavior did not warrant refusal of service, and the situation could have been handled with basic professionalism and de-escalation. As someone with years of experience in sales and customer service, I find the handling of this situation deeply concerning. The combination of misinformation, lack of accountability, and refusal to assist reflects poorly on your organization. I would appreciate a formal review of this incident, including clarification on why a confirmed reservation was not honored, why false allegations were made, and why service was denied at a second location. I will also be escalating this matter to corporate for further review.

What should have been a simple…read moredropoff of an in town rental turned into an hour long educational experience about an employee who didn't know how to do her job. - she brought her dog to work, and interrupted my truck turn in twice for dog "training". Wanna bring your dog in, fine. Don't interrupt a customer. - claimed she didn't know how to use the software to return a local rental (the unused mileage refund). - called two different people for 'help'. - could not pin down the difference in what I was charged versus what I should have been charged. - couldn't explain how I was going to get the deposit back. - produced another receipt showing a charge for the correct mileage, without the deposit. - when I showed her the two receipts for the original charge w/deposit and the new charge w/o deposit, she said I'd get it back... "I swear to God". I asked for some paper showing that and "it's like magic" came rolling out of her facehole, with a corresponding fluttering hand wave in the air. - after I called the LA district manager, on speaker, I was frequently interrupted by Sue Latta, making the phone call very difficult. - the district manager finally explained that the first charge was actually a hold. With two receipts for the two charges in hand, I had to explain that if I was overcharged, I would get my money back legally. - on my way out, I told Sue Latta "Learn your job." When she claimed she knew it, I reminded her that she told me she didn't know what she was doing. Sue Latta then told me I wasn't welcome back there, and thank God, I have no plans on doing so. However, Ty (Melton?) is great. Professional, polite, doesn't interrupt, and handled my previous Penske rental in a manner that should be the example for all Penske employees, especially Sue Latta. If you go to Channel Islands Self Storage, please do yourself a favor and don't deal with Sue Latta. Go straight to Ty.

We reserved it to…read morehave it picked up on Saturday morning (8/31/19) and we're going to have it for three days. My husband and I got help from family six loaders in total, that traveled 2 and 5 hours Friday (8/30/19) to help us load it up early morning. When my husband shows up to pick it up, they told him that "sorry they didn't receive the truck for us from LA" that they tried calling us to let us know they were not going to have a truck available for us but we didn't answer our phones???? Nobody from here left a message sent a text or an email to let us know??? I feel that was pretty messed up and unprofessional! So we had to call Uhual and other companies that same Saturday morning and of course cause it was last minute and Labor Day weekend and most people moving to new places for the first of the month. Nobody had a truck available. So now we're stuck with a handful of helpers and absolutely no truck. Have to pay for extra days to live in our current unit as well. Then tried to reschedule a new reservation and the price has went up from $539.10 to over $900.00.
