I had a very disappointing experience at this Jiffy Lube location and filed a customer service complaint through Jiffy Lube. After my visit, I was contacted by a franchise representative (Justin) regarding the issue of a broken airbox. Unfortunately, the interaction was highly unprofessional--he was argumentative, repeatedly interrupted me, and raised his voice. As a customer, I should not have to defend my concerns or be spoken to in that manner. Even more concerning was the inconsistent and changing explanation of the issue. I was initially told screws were missing, then that the airbox itself was broken, and later that technicians were removing tape or sealant from an already damaged part. These conflicting statements raised serious concerns about both the quality of the service and the transparency of communication. At no point did anyone take responsibility or provide a clear, consistent explanation. Instead, I was met with defensiveness and shifting narratives. This experience reflects a serious breakdown in professionalism and customer care. I would strongly caution others going here... as I see other reviews stating similar experiences with damage to their car and services performed incorrectly. read more

Had one of my headlights die late night on a Saturday during heavy rains (flood warning season). Normal mechanic and dealer not opened on Sunday, so went here. Refused to do the oil change because they could not scan my car VIN. Failed to respond to complaint even after corporate became involved twice. Corporate stated there was no reason they could not do the oil change the other Jiffy lube in the area could. Non automotive staff that obviously can't change oil without a computer telling them what to do. Stay away from them. It was a car wash before it became a Jiffy lube. Sure, it is a bit pricier than other places, especially if you use Synthetic Oil for your car but, you can't really beat the convenience of how fast you can get in and out of here. I was likely lucky in coming at the right time, but my car was able to be serviced quickly and efficiently. When I wanted to add on windshield wipers, they were immediately able to accommodate. They even helped to inform me of what services were needed on my car and what error codes would come up for when it really mattered. The young man, who helped me was extremely courteous, wanted to show me the condition of the rotors and carefully explained why they needed to be replaced. My daughter took her 2013 Toyota Corolla for an oil change and the guy tells her it's going to be $109.00. She told him she only needed "conventional oil" and showed him the $21.99 offer online and they had it on the window. He tells her she needs synthetic oil. So my daughter calls me and says to him "my mom is on speaker phone" and then he says ok and walks away. I then call the location explaining the situation and if it's true that my daughter can only do synthetic. Guy says that they only have synthetic and says the closest place that does conventional is a city away and an additional 20 minutes drive. I told my daughter to get ready to leave and called the store on Vineyard. They said they do conventional. Basically, call before you go because it's apparent they do the "top down selling " for people that don't know much about cars. Then if you don't go for the higher grade stuff, they make it seem like it's all that they have. The guy knew he was trying to take advantage of my daughter being that she was young and didn't know much about cars. When she called me, he walks away and ignores her? Totally unprofessional. Word of advice, go to the one on Vineyard. They are very nice and helpful and honest. Update from the reply from Jiffy Lube: In short, the review reply by owner is a "marketing team". The District manager was "supposed " to get a copy of our Yelp review when I spoke on the phone with. Basically if you leave a 3 star or lower review, their marketing team puts the reply as the District manager. (per the District Manager). The call was pointless because he came off as defending the persons actions in a round about way and when it was pointed out, he said he was going to pull the tape and discuss it with them. read more

Brought a work car in today for an oil change. The associates were very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond by helping us exterminate spiders that had infested the vehicle. They offered to spray our car down and after inspection realized the spiders had created a colony and without having to ask they took the car back and cleaned it again and used bug spray. After my oil change, my skid plate fell off, apparently the workers zip tied it wrong, and never told me they didn't have the bolts or lost my bolts. I went back for them to fix the skid plate. They fixed it and by the time I got to Ventura it was dragging again. (I still didn't know there was zip ties). My boyfriend went to have a look and the entire plate was zip tied (wrong) to my car. I called the company and was told "I told you we zip tied it but you didn't hear me" from a worker I never came in Contact with. My issue wasn't the lack of ability that was shown but the lack of communication and human decency. Ruined the start of a long drive. The only compensation I got was $25 off any severing, meaning I'd have to trust y'all again?? I'd never recommend this place, at least not to people I like. read more

I have been bring my car here for an oil change for years and they have been charging me $150-$170 depending if I had a coupon. I took my car to another place today and without a coupon it's $115 but ok so it cost less. The kicker and why I will never step foot in a Jiffy lube and will never recommend them....they never changed my oil filter. Which makes me wonder if they ever drained and replaced my oil. read more

The worst service of all the Jiffy Lubes in Oxnard , it says they close at 5pm , I drive up so they could top off my oil and I sit there while of of the employees just stares and doesn't even acknowledge me or say anything, finally someone comes out to tell me there closed , really , u can't just top off my oil . This was not the first time I had issue at this location. Ever since they switched Manager I've noticed these issues and alarm no longer work . Not sure why this location is still open . Drive to the Esplanade location for oil change , they are way to busy to wait so I drive to this location, not one single car being serviced so here I'm thinking this should be quick . Pull up and not one single person comes out to help . I guess there out to lunch at 10:30 in the morning. read more
