I saw a viral video on their instagram where one of the owners was making custom pizzas, and I knew immediately that this would be the perfect birthday gift for my friend. I emailed Andy and he was super accommodating to my design requests, asking for specifications and what pizza toppings I wanted. I ended up getting a Gengar pizza design which came with onions on top and pepperoni underneath. It turned out so beautiful and my friend loved the details that went into the eyes and mouth. The pizza itself was really nice and layered, Detroit style. It was on the thicker side, but everything was cooked well and not soggy at all. It was cheezy with a decent amount of mozarella. The crust was light, similar to a pretzel texture. Some of the crust fell off when I was eating it, but I didn't mind. We also got some marinara sauce on the side to eat with the pizza crust. One of the best pizza spots in SJ, and I'm so glad it's close to our house! I believe it's a Vietnamese family owned business as well, and I love supporting small local places like this. It's become our go to spot for pizza and buffalo wings. Our usual order is the half BBQ Chicken (no tomatoes) / half Combination Classic pizza and and buffalo wings. The wings are always made fresh! We usually call ahead, and by the time we arrive, everything's hot and ready to go. The staff is always friendly overall, though there's a young girl at the front who can seem a little reserved sometimes, but it's nothing major. The food makes up for it. Perfect pizza for football season, and I'm glad they stay open during the holidays. They also make fun animated pizzas, it's so coool, even though we haven't tried ordered one ourselves yet. We went in, and there was minimal wait but it moved quickly considering they were a small family run business. The smell on the way home was insane and it definitely did not disappoint. We got half of the bbq chicken and half of the garlic chicken with pineapple.
