We thought, eh, we don't have much planned for dinner so let's go and pulled into the parking lot (this was at 4:54 pm). We walked up to Mac n Noodles and one guy was just sitting in the window playing on his phone, and we saw another guy walking around in there. The guy told the guy in the window to tell us that they weren't serving until 5. See, if both people were busy and looked to be setting up, we would understand. But the fact that one guy was literally doing nothing and we were 6 minutes from when they said they'd open, it didn't leave a great impression. So we ended up leaving and taking our business elsewhere. Their menu was pretty boring today anyways - the last time we had it they had at least 4 options including 2 for non meat eaters. Today they had plain, buffalo chix, and another one with chorizo. Next time I'll support another local food truck instead and drive right on.

Both the Tacos and the gooey Burrito were filled with lots of meat - honestly, it was simple and satisfying without it being too greasy. Pricing was very affordable for the food portions and the food quality you get here. This is definitely an authentic spot you want to visit whenever you are in the mood to eat Mexican food - simple high quality food. After talking about their recommendations on something new to try I did settle on the Gordita's. Deep fried to perfection, the Gordita serves as a real man's taco stuffed with protein, beans, veggies, and topped with sour cream and cotija. Was also able to sample three of their meats with this order since there are three gorditas to an order which makes for a big meal. Glad to report that their asada, pastor, and campechana proteins were neither gristly or fatty and were great in their deep fried paradise. Served with both a red and green homemade hot sauce, can be as spicy as you desire. They do have a small table setup against the truck so if busy you might be tailgating or huffing it home.
