This place has the most yummy donuts, and definitely lives up to their name! It seems like a family owned business, and all of the people that work there are always very friendly! Definitely recommend trying their cronut (croissant donut) even if you're a regular but have never tried it. I'm not even a donut person, but I really, really, really love this donut. I would also recommend giving the apple fritter try. My boyfriend really loves apple fritters and he says that theirs is better than most. My kids, of course, loved their yeast raised donuts with just chocolate and sprinkles. If you go on the weekend and you are lucky, you can try their Dubai chocolate doughnut. I heard someone, who I believe is the owner, say once that he only does these on the weekend. Maybe that's mostly on Saturdays, but I went today on Sunday and they didn't have them. I can't decide if this or the Cronut is better! Definitely get over to yummy's and give them a try! You won't regret it!

Oh so yummy!!!! My mom was in town visiting and we were craving some sweets so we decided to try Yummy Donuts and WOW!!!! They were amazing! Our favorites were the chocolate-covered old-fashioned donuts and they are huge donuts!!! Can't wait to go back!!!

Delicious donuts and very nice service. Plenty of parking in the strip mall as well and the shop looks very unassuming. The sausage roll was very good and the pastry was nice and flaky. They didn't have crueller donuts which was disappointing because those are my favorites but they did have a good variety. The sour cream old fashioned was incredible! Usually I find these donuts to be too heavy but the one they make is really light and flavorful. The coconut donut, lemon cream filled, and chocolate glazed with sprinkles were also good. Their donuts are very tall and very filling though. They also sold baklava which I found to have too much cinnamon in it, but was still good just not my favorite baklava. The service was nice and the shop was clean.

This place is fantastic. Yes, donuts aren't exactly good for you but who cares? There are no better donuts in the city to stuff your face with while sobbing uncontrollably because you know you shouldn't be eating these sugary, unhealthy delicious pastries of guilt. I went so much at one point I started disguising myself with whigs, hats and sunglasses and at one point one of those funny little glasses with the nose and mustache. Turns out it never worked. They'd immediately recognize me and call me by name asking if I wanted my regular, what they called suitcase of donuts, order. Okay this never happened but seriously this place is great. Their donuts are larger than most, freakin so good, their cinnamon roll is enough to make anyone push off their workout to that elusive tomorrow. I'm a simple man who loves me some chocolate sprinkled donuts. Idk never had a bad thing here ever. Go here, wear a disguise, try not to beat yourself up too bad and enjoy this amazing donut shop. Went late on July 2 to get some donuts because their donuts are real good. The guy working the counter was unfriendly and didn't have the decency to let us know that the donuts had been sitting there all day long. When he packed up our order we noticed that they were hard and decided against the purchase. He claimed to back out the payment and never did. No apologies for the low quality donuts etc. will not return read more

Donuts were outstanding. It's a small shop but great selection. They can get busy but generally the staff is very quick. The problem arises when someone brings in the kids or grandkids and tells them to "pick what they want." At that point the line backs up out the door. I highly recommend read more

The donuts are amazing, I normally get the chocolate Eclair, and it's been great every time. The owner is also very nice, always happy when we walk in. Works hard too. Not only that, but the shop is so fun and unique. Absolute favorite donut place, would recommend. :) read more

We always love Yummy's! The food is great and the staff always friendly. My daughter loves the apple fritters. One of my sons loves the breakfast rolls. Another prefers the generously filled long johns. I like all of the above. It is not really a sit down place but there are a few seats. Yummy's is our go-to for birthdays and as we leave on road trips. read more

Donuts are delicious and fresh! All donuts are a good size. Great owner. Was training someone at he time that I walked in--usually more slow than other days but that's fine. Place is warm and super colorful. Overall decent donut shop. Didn't give it all 5 stars just because they didn't have cup sleeves for the coffee which was SUPER hot and the person at the registered in training was very slow and made a couple of mistakes. read more

I have been getting doughnuts here once or twice a month for over a decade. The doughnuts are always fresh, well made and the section is amazing. The family that owns and operates this store are from Syria and they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They love to talk about current events and enjoy answering my questions and about Syria and it's history. The shop is ways clean and open/closed exactly per it's posted schedule. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and I've never walked more than 30 feet to the front door. It's bright, cheery and smells like fresh doughnuts. They also make breakfast burritos flavors with Syrian spices and they are absolutely mouth watering. I much prefer locally owned shops to the large chain store. Shop small. read more

I too cannot believe the bad reviews this place is getting. Not only do the donuts taste rich and full, but they blow King Soopers and other market place donuts out of the water. These are hands down the BEST donuts I have tasted in the Lakewood, Denver, if not Colorado area. Now, to the details. Concerning the interior design, it is nice, cozy, and perfect for a morning seat with some donuts and coffee. The color scheme could be a little better, but I'm in no position to make aesthetic judgements. Concerning the people, they are usually friendly and provide quick service. There has been a few times where I must wait in line, but with such a popular donut, it's only understandable. Concerning the DONUT, they provide a variety of raised, cake, and fancy donuts. Their raised donuts are fluffy, tasty, and come in three main varities: glazed, chocolate, and cinammon crumb (one of my favorites). Their cake donuts are dense, rich, and come in a variety of icings and toppings: chocolate, vanilla, cherry, maple, nuts, sprinkles, coconuts, plain, cinammion, sugar, and cinammon crumb. I've tasted each and everyone. Last but not least, their fancies are delicious and include apple fritters, cinammon rolls, rasberry filled, and bavarian cream filled longjohns. I must note that the apple fritters and cinammon rolls are HUGE, not like the ones you get at King Soopers, which are tiny, hard, and not very tasty. In all, I give this place my vote for the best donut in Denver. And it's Yummy's Donut House now, no longer Winchells. Not sure exactly when the change happened, but the Donut is still tasty as ever. read more

Seriously everyone who has ever done a bad review here is deluded. There's nothing like their doughnuts and I don't know what they do but they're like crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside and they have unique flavors. Highly recommend the red velvet and the blueberry. I love supporting these guys because it's a family owned business and the guy who's usually working the counter is so nice. It looks like a little hole in the wall from the outside but it's really a nice little happy place. read more

We use to go here every Sunday and get donuts. This morning, my boyfriend went and got our usual order, He paid with a $20 and the man gave him change back for a $10. When my boyfriend said that he didn't get the right change the man refused to give him the change we were owed. Like I said, we use to go in every weekend, I would think the guy would know us by now. We will never go there again! We will wait for the new Walton Donuts location to open up. read more

Love, love, love! Their doughnuts can't be beat, there is nothing like them anywhere else. Some of the flavors are really unique and I love the apple fritters. It's a small place owned by a very nice family. Not a huge fan of the breakfast sandwiches but that's not what I go there for. The prices are great and every once in a while when I'm buying a dozen the guy throws in an extra one for me. I refuse to go anywhere else for a doughnut! read more

Yummy Donuts Shop is a great local spot that I'm happy to support. Their donuts are delicious, and the bear claws, in particular, are massive and usually very tasty. However, I've had a couple of occasions where the bear claws were partially undercooked, which is why I'm knocking off a star. Despite that, it's still a solid donut shop with a lot to offer, and I'll definitely keep coming back! read more
