Enjoyed our lunches. The quesadilla with shredded BBQ pork was the perfect thickness and not too "wet" or dry. My son had the Ruben and said that the quality of the corn beef was good. My daughter had an outrageously sized hamburger smothered with BBQ pork (more than enough for 2). I thought it looked like a heart attack served on a plate but she enjoyed it. However, there was something very strange about the sides. The menu specifically stated that you had to have the french fries with hamburgers and homemade potato chips with the other sandwiches. It does not permit you to substitute one for the other! I have never seen this before. I posted a picture of the restriction, with this review. The other oddity is that you cannot have a small taste before ordering a full glass of beer. You can only purchase what appeared to be a 2-3 Oz sample. I always want to try a beer before I purchase a full glass because the extensive variation breweries play on beer styles. So, I purchased the sample and forgoed the full glass. I deducted a star for both of these "not so consumer friendly" policies but wanted you to know in case you didn't care. The setting was standard "new industrial" which is just fine. Well a Family member said this place was good! Yes and no! It is best to go by YELP REVIEWS, the definitions of good vary greatly based upon the place judged times the number of non-YELPERS IN the USA! Generally YELPERS are a little more accurate based upon their likes and dislikes! Confused? Sorry! This place is big, noisy, with great service! Over board at times, but sweet! Their food leans towards the new style if you can fit it between bread it is likely there and usually messy in some cases! Taste is unusual! To each his own! They have beer 13 variety well described in the menu and best to review with the server! I am not much for beer so the $2 sample size gives gives more than adequate taste if it hits your fancy or not! #6 or #5 are sweet and milder! Food and drinks are bit pricey, but their volume is cost effective! Restaurant is clean! Parking is generally good for a strip mall! If you do not like beer they have a full bar bar and some mixed brews to try! More to my liking, perhaps on my next trip ... someday not to soon! We had decided to try out Fat Heads for lunch one day since it was close to some shopping we were doing. Our first impressions were not great. The pink-haired hostess finally found time to take her face out of her phone to seat us with a very poor attitude. After she sat us at our table, we sat there for around 10 minutes, and no one ever came to wait on us. So, we moved to the bar. Again, waiting for service. Bartender finally came over and, while not overly friendly, did manage to take our order. The reason for the three-star is the beer and the food. Both we very good. First thing - I'm Not a beer drinker! But our daughter said the food was good so we tried it out. I had the ChipotleChicken Cheesesteak. It was yummy! Hubby had a Bob &Martha Italian style headwich and it was Big! He had some problem with some extra fat on some of the meat but generally liked his sandwich. He also sampled three different beers and is willing to come back and try a few more. Tried a cup of Holly Jolly popcorn that was a good Carmel corn. The food was pretty mediocre... my husband's burger was super dry and over cooked (they made him a new one and it was just as dry as the first), but my burger (BBQ one) was delicious. I recommend the million dollar chip dip if they have it- it's yummm. My burger and the dip are what's bumping this from a 1-star to a 2-star. The absolute worst part of our experience was the service. Our server was just awful. She seemed legit out out to have to wait on us, and was not helpful at all when we asked about drinks and any burgers that are recommended. Needless to say, we won't be back. I'd rather go elsewhere for a burger that has service with a smile, than here with servers that look miserable and annoyed that they're actually having to take orders and wait on people. read more

It's slightly paired down now, but I haven't met a Fat Head's menu item that I didn't like, whether it's one of their award-winning beers, fresh-cut fries, their giant wings (which I friggin dream about), pizza, or a "headwich" (yes, that's a sandwich the size of your head!). At this location, they have a great patio area, and garage doors on the front and side of the building which practically open up the entire restaurant! Update 5/1/2018: I took this review from 5 stars down to 2, because the principle of the incident bothered me that much. While the food is still good, the company is so set in their policies that they will sacrifice customer service for the sake of policy. Tonight, my third time treating a friend to this place in the last 6 weeks, I found out the fries cannot be substituted for house chips; and vice-versa. Fine. No problem. So, after the waitress explained that I chose to order a chicken wrap so I could get the house made chips. The waitress, who was very nice, came back a moment later to let me know they were out of tortillas. Ok. No problem. I then asked for the BBQ Burger but asked that they make an exception to the no substitute rule and bring me chips instead of fries. She said "I don't think they'll do it, but I can check". I asked her to please check since it is not my fault they are out of the tortillas and I really wanted the chips. They would not make an exception. My advice is either keep the tortillas in stock or make the substitution. Not run out of food and make it worse by saying I have to pay for your lack of stock. I was a repeat customer, but not anymore. If you're out of the tortillas, just throw the stupid chips on my plate. Pretty terrible management and pretty bad tortilla inventory control. ---- ---- If FHB keeps up the good work, this place will be successful for a long, long time. Their Goggle Fogger brew was recommended by the waitress and it did not disappoint. I was not expecting the food to be as good as it was. The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The portion sizes are large and you will not leave there hungry. Glad I didn't order an app as I would not have had the room to finish it. Service was pleasant, friendly and attentive. Enjoyed it so much I am taking my brother-in-law their today for lunch for his birthday. Keep up the great work. I typically don't leave a restaurant and want to write a review right away. After Fat Head's, I had to do just that! Going in, the restaurant was really big. There was a lot of seating and a bar right when you walked in. The bar had seating on all sides. In the back, there was a pool table and some games. The beer selection was pretty decent. There were 14 Fat Head's beers (I think) and the. A few guest beers. I did a flight which include 4oz pours of 1-8. All of the beers were solid. My favorites were the Keller Beer and the Raspberry Berliner Weiss. The food menu was huge! There were sandwiches, wings, pizzas, and a lot of other choices. I got the fried pickles and the Beauty and the Beasty sandwich. My wife got the wings. I also got a side of the killer sauce. Everything was really good! The portions were huge! I couldn't even finish half of my sandwich. I shared the pickles with a group of 16 and we almost all had some. My absolute favorite this was the killer sauce. The flavor was really good and it was decently spicy. If you aren't fond of spicy foods, stay away! I used it as a chip dip. The rest of my party used it as a dare to see who would eat it. I would definitely suggest getting some of it just to try! I have to say, next time I come to town, I will definitely be back! read more

Went there for the first time on a Friday night date night with the wife overall a good experience. Wait time was 25 to 30 minutes but that was expected on a Friday night. The host was very easy-going and helpful even though it was busy. I got a burger and my wife got a head witch and both were pretty good although the head witch didn't have much meat in it. My wife and I attended a festival near here in Canal Fulton last Sunday. I've always wondered about this place so on our way back to Cleveland we stopped here. We were seated right away and our server who was very friendly and knowledgeable arrived in just a few moments. We each ordered a hamburger with mine being a Swiss and mushroom and my wife's being one with blue cheese. We were tempted to order onion rings but it said the burgers came with fries. My wife also ordered dark beer called something like Black Knight. The food came out in a very timely manner. And...my burger was one of the best I've had in years. Nice thick patty, plenty of cheese and mushrooms. The meat was cooked perfectly and was super delicious. It came with enough fries to feed a family. I did not plan to eat all the fries but they were so good I couldn't stop. Again, one of the best large burgers I've had in ages. I had a bite of my wife's burger and it tasted great with just the right amount of blue cheese. Her beer was to die for. I would have ordered one but I was driving but it was one of the best dark beers I've ever tasted. Smooth, not bitter and very full tasting. I also can't say enough about our server. She was attentive without be annoying and that is much appreciated. As I said, she was very informative and helpful.
