Fat Bronco - regular 9 inch.
    Belynda H.

Fat Shack has a very interesting concept going. Stuffing everything inside a hoagie bun is very interesting. However it was dry. We got the regular (9inch) Fat Bronco. It had chicken strips, french fries, mozzarella, sticks, and marinara sauce. All stuffed inside my hoagie bun. It was good. The employee said she uses ranch as well and that saved the day for me. Very helpful and efficient workers. The lady that we visited with actually recommended the burgers. But we were there to try their specialized item. Next time we will try the burger.

Small & cozy eatery. Friendly. Food was good & the large cheese fries was huge. Ordered philly sandwich, fried pickle, cheese fries & burgers; all was good.

One of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I love the community and the food is in a whole other echelon of gourmet. I want to shout out to Sadie for sending me the upmost kindness and for treating me with lots of respect. The television is a nice addition to the building because it gives me something to enjoy when I come here alone. Thank you FatShack and it's employees

So a food joint based on the concept of making America fat again. Well, bad news Fat Shack - America is already fat, but kudos to you for helping maintain the weight gain! We all had the cheeseburger lunch special. And it was pretty darn good. For instance, daughter #1 "yeah it was good, with a shake of the head right and left, the fries were really good. Double fried." Daughter #2: at several points throughout the meal "wow this burger is really good" which says a lot for Someone who usually doesn't comment on the food. As for me, yes this was a really good burger. On the smallish side. The fries were very good. I would recommend this place. Right next to Holicks on Wellborn.

Horrible customer service, cashier was rude. I waited 40 minutes for pretty mediocre food. Would not recommend.

These might be the best wings in town. Try them with golden barbecue sauce; even cold the next day!

Spent the day at Texas A&M and had to go get Laynes for lunch!…read more One cannot go to CStat and not get lunch at Laynes..Canes and Zaxbys do not compare.. However, I will say that all the chicken tender places since Covid went from their signature large tenders to half size smaller tenders. Not sure why or why they never went back to the larger size tenders after Covid. I ordered a 3 piece and you can see how small the size of the tenders are and I remember when two of the tenders would of equaled 1 tender before Covid. The service was great, the tenders were hot and fresh since made to order and the fries were crunchy. Nothing wrong at all with the service, taste of the food, the only complaint is how tiny the tenders are now. With all that said of course I'll still go to Laynes and glad we have one in Houston by my job.

This is the original Layne's born out of College Station. We stopped by on a road trip and decided…read moreto compare it to Raising Cane's, Chick-Fil-A, and other competitive fast food chicken strips. Flavor - very nice. I was quite impressed with the texture, breading, and seasoning. It wasn't overly greasy and spice level hit the spot. Temperature: we dined in to experience the freshest chicken strips possible. It did not disappoint. I think I burned the roof of my mouth on the first bite but it was worth it. Presentation: nothing to praise but no complaints either. See the photo and judge for yourself. Ambiance: small and cute. Nothing nice about it but fairly clean. Staff: friendly but not over the top. The verdict: Chick-Fil-A is still #1. Then Layne's. Then Raising Cane's. Yes - in my opinion - Layne's beats Cane's. And all 3 are way better than Whataburger and Dairy Queen. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself!

We will definitely be back to check out their other unique burgers. Staff are fast and friendly. Lots of tables to dine on. You pay first then find a table and they'll deliver to your table. They also have a full bar. Located within Century Square. Careful where you park as most parking here is paid parking. There is a garage that is free, but it's a bit of a walk.

The building is everything a burger bar should be - including footrests for the booths, a great idea! There's a lineup of appealing burgers and some appealing sides. And beer (yes!). However: (1) The Hopdoddy website says "Located in the heart of the Texas A&M campus, Hopdoddy..." - what are they talking about??? It's literally off-campus. (2) We thought "shareable fries" meant a size big enough to share. It should be be thought of more literally: "something you can share". (3) After a meal, if the service has been good, I tip generously. But asking for a tip before there's been any service isn't just out of order, it's a bit of a hostage situation. My refusal to go along with it must have affected the attitude of the girl who brought our food, because she wasn't the least bit friendly.
