Came here with what I thought was a massive appetite and ordered a double burger with chili on the side.... and a side of wings. God this was a lot of meat to eat! What is the old saying? Sometimes you order "with your eyes" and yet your stomach knows damn well you're not going to eat all of that food? Lol This location is always solid and so is the product. What separates this particular fatburger from others you might ask? Timing. Timing. More timing...... And then great overall customer service. Particularly if you're ordering food to go, when they tell you it'll be ready in 10 minutes.....it'll be ready in 10 minutes! I'm dead serious. I wish there was more to elaborate on with this experience but suffice to say you'll want to come to this fatburger if you're in the area. The CSA (or customer service All Star) of this experience was Mr. Ruben, who was kind enough to bring my food to my table for me, and then make a second round and go and get me a cup for some water! This particular Fatburger reminded me so much of home... Dallas, to be exact. The whole experience had that Braum's (IYKYK) energy where burgers aren't made until you order them, and you can taste the difference. I got a regular burger with grilled onions, cheese, and all the fixins, and it was cooked just right... juicy, flavorful, and fresh off the grill. The skinny fries were just okay; by the time I got to them, they were a little mushed together, but still decent. What really stood out was how clean and welcoming the location was; the kind of spot where you actually want to sit and eat instead of rushing out. Great comfort food! Customer service is excellent! Clean environment. Even though they look understaffed, they do a great job of service.

The food here is good and they have awesome vegan options with vegan cheese. The staff is always cool too. The mural is epic and worth checking out. Fatburger has a cool history in this area, idk if this one is as cool as the other location where it used to be in this center next to the chicken place. Definitely recommend their Impossible Burger and vegan cheese, wish they had more vegan condiments! read more

This location is on point. They stay open later than the other Fatburger locations which is a huge plus. The burger's are seasoned well and come out hot and fresh. The service is excellent and the wait time wasn't bad at all. Other than the one on Santa Monica, this is probably the best Fatburger. The mural here is everything. It's more beautiful than photos of it. Turkey burgers were on point except one of the burgers had a salty spot that my husband gagged on. And then, they've changed the Onion Rings. Sad OR's. Now they have a tempura coating instead of a crunchy coating. Skinny fries are great. We just won't order onion rings anymore. read more

I came here after a friend suggested I try Fatburger out. I've only been in LA for a few days and wanted a really good burger and fries. I found this location near my place. It's in a pretty bustling location, adjacent to a shopping center. The restaurant was not too busy. A couple of patrons sat and ate and others waited for their food. There was a really cool mural of Ice Cube on the wall. That's when I realized Fatburger was the same burger joint mentioned in his song back in the day. The mural definitely added cool points to the restaurant. It was obvious that I didn't know how to order, but the nice cashier helped me out. I ordered a large Fatburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese and bacon (the latter being extra charges). I ordered the combo, with the fat fries. All in all, my total came to twenty bucks and change. I've already came to the conclusion that living in California is not for the weak (or the cheap, lol), so I just went ahead and paid, with no resistance. I was about ten minutes away from home, so my food was still warm when I sat down to eat. The burger was big and neatly made. The fries were perfectly soft- I know that this could be a huge negative for others, but I love soft fries! There was a bit of a crisp, but they weren't hard and crunchy like some places. I asked for the thousand island dip and it paired pretty well with the fries. Now onto the burger. The burger was just good and that's not bad! It wasn't "Omg" delicious, but it was an honestly decently made sandwich. Like I said before, it was neat- not sloppy or thrown together. The beef tasted exactly like a fresh beef patty, none of that elementary school filler stuff. The only downers are: 1.) The bun. It wasn't fresh. If it was even toasted on the grill, the whole burger would've been next level good. 2.) The patty could've been seasoned a bit more. If I didn't get bacon, I probably would've been a bit more disappointed. At the end of the day, I was satisfied. I got my burger fix and that's all I wanted. I would go back one day for the fries and to try a shake. Try FB out at least once to have your own opinion. But with me, Fatburger is a solid 4 stars. read more

Now I'm a huge Fatburger fan, I remember having my first one when visiting Vegas so many years ago. Now that I've moved to California - this was my first FB experience and I wasn't thrilled. The customer service was nice. However, they forgot my wife's sweet potato fries which was ordered with our meal. We have them a call and was delighted they will honor it next visit - so we kept the receipt. But my XXL burger tasted so much like a old school McD Big Mac. I wasn't thrilled. Visited this afternoon and was greeted by a super friendly cashier. All the staff seemed bubbly and friendly. Now my burger however is another story. I ordered a bun free turkey patty. It used to come wrapped with iceberg lettuce. Now it's served on a small bed of shredded, dry lettuce in a plastic container. I did not enjoy this burger much at all. Still keeping with 4 stars cause I think the regular burger is fine and staff is so welcoming. I hope management will consider doing away with all this extra, unnecessary plastic packaging and bring back iceberg in its original form. read more

In October, the L.A. Times had a feature article by Lucas Kwan Peterson in the Food Section of Fast Food Burger Power Rankings. I was surprised he ranked Fatburger as Number 1 because my past experience years ago at the Marina del Rey location didn't seem that memorable. I do remember the burgers there were heavy on the mustard. I also remember an amusing professor in college used to tell us how he loved to order Fatburgers with a fried egg. I got curious and wanted to try Fatburger once again. I drive by this location all the time, but I never really noticed it or paid attention to it! Ha ha I called in my order and it was ready by the time I got there. I ordered an original 1/3 lb. burger with the works (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, pickles, and relish) plus onion rings and skinny fries. I was pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed everything! The burger was very tasty and the toppings were plentiful to the point where my last bite still had toppings evenly distributed. The onion rings were light, crispy, and fabulous. The skinny fries were also wonderful. The cheeseburger was overly salted and overpriced, the Diet Coke didn't taste like a diet soda to me , the only things taste good was the onion rings . Great burger great fries . I live 4 mins driving distance which is easy access to get too. I ordered two burgers and one with of them with egg. And a couple order of fries. There's no other customer or anyone around waiting. I get my order and go home. I get home to open up one of the burgers without the egg. It's the main reason why I went. No other burger spot offers add on egg like that'. I Paid extra money and didn't get what I want. This is the 2nd time I go there . Food is great but workers will be forgetting to complete the order correctly. Didn't write a review the first time because I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But again?
