One of my favorite burger spots from my youth reborn. They have one of the best $2 taco Tuesdays and the staff is great.

Haven't had Quick 'N Split in years! Ice cream still as delicious as always. Restaurant cleans inside and out. Service was average. Shake was made in a decent amount of time. I'll be back soon!

    - Pastrami Taco: Super salty. $6.50 for one taco is pretty crazy especially one that's maybe 3 bites lol. Also so greasy it was dripping before I took a bite. I love pastrami so it had that nice pastrami flavor - Turkey Taco: Same issues as other taco but much less salty. But just not good enough to get again. - Quick n Split burger: Toppings were all over the place and bun was sopping wet so it soon fell apart right when I bit into it. Same salty pastrami as in taco. Thick patty. - Large Chili Cheese Fries: Chili was real nice and flavorful and the cheddar cheese on top was very complementary. Noticed that the "Large" came in a different container than what I saw online. This container was smaller for sure. Would get again. Food might've been greasy but everything had flavor! A cook came out to reassure everyone the food is coming out soon. Staff was really cool and gracious. Would like to come back for the ice cream and take a break from the tacos.

Chili cheese fries was very greasy I was not able to finish my food. Seems as if brick chili was used Was not able to enjoy

Chili cheese fries was very greasy I could not enjoy the fries was soaking up the grease from the chili that was used. Seems as if brick chili was used.

Went here about 2 weeks ago. The food was ready faster than expected. The customer service was good. When I got home the food was cold. Not cold like it had been hot and cooled down but cold as in refrigerator cold. We had a scooter wooter, chili cheese fries, a taco and a side of fries. All cold! I couldn't understand how or why. We did go when they first open so I thought maybe they didn't let the food warm up enough before making the order but even with that being the case they should be able to tell that the taco was cold to touch from holding it. I could tell even with the paper wrapped on the taco that it was cold. So why serve it? The small fries were so small. I mean teeny tiny, the box was small and they still didn't fill it up. My daughter accused us of eating them before we got home but no one touch them. This particular location is known for businesses having grand opening and grand closing soon after, I would hate to see that happen to this business. I hope they get it together, people will find somewhere else to spend their hard earned money.

Ok for some context. My family last eat at Quick & Split on 98th and Vermont in around 1994 before they all closed. It was out after a long church service treat. Especially the homemade ice cream. We nicknamed it Slow & Stay because they would literally take 15-20 minutes to freshly prepare your grub. Several times they would thankfully get your order wrong and when you tried what they gave you it tasted better than what you actually ordered. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger meal--10/10! And taco 6/10. The old Q&P used to have soft shell taco partially fried. And the taco lacked hot sauce. Perhaps I should have asked for some. The ice cream was a nostalgic experience of at least 30 years ago that literally had a brotha floating with ecstasy!

    The Lip Dripper Taco

First time trying this Quick & Split location. I called in a phone order and picked up burgers for the kids, double cheeseburgers for my son and me, plus some lip dripper tacos. I didn't really know what to expect, but overall the food was good. The burgers were fresh and satisfying. The double cheeseburgers hit the spot, and the lip dripper tacos were solid too. Everything was made right and packed well. That said, I have to be honest, the Quick & Split on Crenshaw near the cupcake shop just does it differently. The flavor, the texture, the overall feel of the burger there sets a higher standard for me. It's just a better Quick & Split experience. This location is good and dependable, but if I'm craving that real Quick & Split burger again, I'm heading to the Crenshaw spot.

Burgers, fries, HOMEMADE ice cream, cupcakes, custom lemonades, this Quick n' Split destination has everything indulgent. You can't miss the peacock blue building with mauve accents. Parking is attached and easy to navigate from Crenshaw or the side alley. Helpful for a quick run-in and pick-up. Customer service is always top notch. The display is transparent so you see what is offered. Check the daily specials too. Glad to support the community gems and collaborations.

Had to go and support (what ai consider) an old time favorite. Saw their ad for this location on social media so being in the area, it was only right ai stop by and partake in an old time fix. Ordered the Double Turkey Burger w/cheese. Lg Onion Ring and 2 Turkey Tacos that were very tasty indeed. The service was professional and hospitable. Took more than an hour for my order so ai wound up having multiple conversations with other patrons and running into acquaintances that ai hadn't seen in a while. The place was a buzz with patrons supporting their efforts here and it was simply a nice ambiance to be there. Gratitude and give thanks Quick n Split and staff for a delicious meal experience. Will see you soon.

I'd have given the place 5 Stars but the double cheeseburger was very sloppy. Had heard about this place for a while. GrubHubbed the pastrami sandwich the night before and it was the best little pastrami sandwich I've had in 30 years! Seriously! So, next day I had to see what the burgers were all about. Was excited to try. At first, was very disappointed at the sloppiness of the presentation. It was a mess. But after I got a few bites in... oh boy... what a blast. Better than Storm Burger. Closest to a homemade burger I've ever had. My local go to fo' sho! Great job.

Ok so this place is called QUICK N SPLIT. My first visit I just wanted to try their chili. Was super impressed. I go again this evening and watched 2 quarters of the basketball. The wait was 40min. As I waited in line to order a regular customer came in and the lady from the back noticed him and asked "do you want your usual " proceeded to help that customer and he received his food before me. When I made a gesture the same lady replied to to me saying your order will be up soon. Took another 7min. For me to get home which is around the corner 2min and my chili burger was soggy and cold. Fries were drowned on salt. So for the overall visit to be near 47min, be served after another person that ordered after me and a soggy burger I was really unable to enjoy it. Took two bites and the rest was impossible. I tipped and paid 21.00.

That's what fruit, plain yogurt, and chia seeds are for. Maria's doesn't use any healthy oils, pasture fresh eggs, fancy potatoes, aiolis, or specialty meats. What they do have is 3-meats, melty cheese, textural contrast, and a good, spicy salsa. All that for $10. Ten dollars. Absolutely Terrible Drive-Thru Experience…read more Went through the drive-thru last night and somehow managed to have one problem after another. First, when I pulled up to order, the girl asked if I was ready. I said I needed a minute, and literally 15 seconds later I said I was ready. She asked, "what do you want?" I started ordering and she immediately cut me off and said, "Hold on," then started taking my order. I ordered a large Pepsi. She said, "Large coffee?" I said, "No, Pepsi." She then said, "I don't know what that is." I explained that I meant a soda, like Coke. She said, "We don't have Coke, only Pepsi." At this point I'm thinking, Are we seriously struggling with the word Pepsi? I repeated, "Yes, a large Pepsi." Then I got to the window. She asked if I wanted salsa or vegetables. I said yes, extra red salsa and extra carrots. I had ordered SIX tacos and a burrito, so I expected a reasonable amount of salsa. Instead, I was handed two tiny containers of salsa. I had already driven away from the window before checking my order, so I parked and went inside. The SAME girl from the drive-thru saw me and asked what I needed. I explained that I had asked for extra salsa and only received two. I even spoke to her in both English and Spanish because apparently neither was getting through. She walked about three feet away and told a coworker that she didn't know what I was talking about. He came over and asked what I needed. I said, "Salsa, please." He then asked the cook for salsa, and he said they were out of salsa and only had "cumbias." Then they all laughed. Seriously? Not one person apologized. Not one person seemed concerned that I had just had an awful experience. The entire interaction was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. Your logo says: "Come for the tacos. Stay for the experience. Come back because nothing else compares." Well, I came for the tacos, left because of the experience, and definitely won't be coming back -- because I can get better tacos from a taco stand without having to deal with this level of incompetence. The tacos aren't good enough to make up for terrible customer service. Train your employees to listen, communicate, and treat customers with basic respect. Después empezó a tomar mi orden. Pedí una Pepsi grande. Ella dijo: "¿Café grande?" Le dije: "No, Pepsi." Y me respondió: "No sé qué es eso." Le expliqué que me refería a un refresco, como Coca-Cola. Me dijo: "No tenemos Coca, solamente Pepsi." En ese momento pensé: ¿De verdad estamos teniendo problemas con la palabra Pepsi? Le repetí: "Sí, una Pepsi grande." Después llegué a la ventana. Me preguntó si quería salsa o verduras.

I got home to find two giant pieces of lightly fried fish atop tortillas, and basically a full (almost ripe) avocado sliced in half, not cut up. All the other fixin's were on the side so you assemble everything yourself (cabbage, pico, chipotle sauce). Once everything was assembled, which took a while thanks to the tough avocado, I was hugely let down. Despite the large quantity of food, the quality was just not there. The fish was flaky and not overly fried, but it tasted like the ocean, not in a good way. SO so so much salt, yuck. Also disappointed by the sides. The black beans were quite runny, more liquid than beans, and the rice had a bunch of random veggies in there that took away from the dish. I'm sure there are many good things on the menu, but their fish taco meal just ain't it, sadly.
