This place never disappoints, and it is probably the only place fast food that I ordered from once a while with my team at work I choose the grilled chicken sandwich with potato fries So scrumptious

Fatburger was established in 1952. I am not really a fan of Fatburger. Today, I wanted to try it again. Last time I've tried it was back in 2016 at their other location on Ventura blvd. Prior to that, I have had my share with them in their Hollywood location which probably no longer exists! I walked in around 2:40pm and started taking my pictures of the place before ordering my food. Jennifer, the manager was wondering who am I and why am I taking photos? I told her the reason, but she still wouldn't budge. Took my pictures by telling her "if you give me a great service, I will give you a great review on Yelp". She took my order, but was still a little skeptical about my photos. I ordered their Original Fatburger Meal that comes with regular fries, and medium soda. Minus mustard, pickles, easy mayo, asked for grilled onions, got raw onions instead.. with American Cheese. Fries tasted DELICIOUS, CRISPY, & FRESH! The meat on the other hand didn't taste that good. It was a bit oily for my liking. They have extensive menu options from wings, burgers, soda, hot dogs, and dessert such as shakes, cookies & more.. Place was clean, but not a very good vibe inside. Plenty of parking shared with numerous businesses. Has 2 bathrooms. Thank you Jennifer & Fatburger. Also, thanks for the free sample of the chocolate chip cookie and the nice conversation towards the end..

Stopped here late night after a show. The cashier and cook was so nice. The burger ans fries were hot. My milkshake was good.

I stopped by this Fatburger this morning to grab my lunch. I came right when they open so I was their first customer of the day. I parked across the street because there more parking spots over there compared to the limited spots the plaza this store is in. I haven't been to a Fatburger in over 10 years so I told the lady who was working the cashier. She explain the whole menu to me and her recommendations. I went with the classic burger with no onion, radish or pickles. I also added a side of steak fries with my order. She told me it would take about fifteen minutes which I was fine with. I sat down and waited for my food to come out. When it did, it looked delicious but be aware that it is pricer here. I got charged extra for American cheese. I thought the burger was okay but it's not my favorite. The fries tasted very plain and eating it with ketchup didn't help much. The dining experience here is very limited because there not many seats and the bathroom is only locked by a key.

I have been to this Fat burger location before. Burgers were good and fresh. I got a single back on cheeseburger with a few items on it. I added bacon and cheese. They charge you arms and legs for extra toppings on your burger. But, all in all I love Fatburger.

This review is ONLY citing my experience tonight. One of the most UNPLEASANT customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Me: Hello how's it going? Employee: You want to just tell me what you want to order? Me: ....uhhh a Fatburger, no mustard add mayo Employee: (annoyed and points to the sign with the burger setup infographic with all the ingredients)...See that there...thats what is on the burger...just tell me what you don't want. Me: Speechless and I walk out

I love the chicken sandwich and the fries are good and their kluckin' sauce is very good, too. Best of all, they're open late and so if you're hungry after midnight, this is the place to go. Like, the kind of service where you actually feel welcomed and not rushed or awkward for asking questions. The staff was super patient and took the time to really explain the menu and walk me through all the different spice levels, which I appreciated so much. I had questions about the menu and especially about the spice levels, and instead of rushing me or giving short answers, they took the time to fully explain everything. They broke down what each heat level feels like, how intense it is, and even gave honest recommendations depending on spice tolerance. You could tell they actually care about making sure customers enjoy their food, not just pushing orders out. I ended up ordering the Kluckin Tenders and decided to go all in by trying every spice level they offer: No Heat, Kluckin Mild, Kluckin Hot, and Kluckin Fire. Starting with No Heat, i tried the og tender to see how it was alone without any spice because I'm quite the chicken tender connoisseur haha. I was honestly surprised by how flavorful it still was. The tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned really well. Even without spice, nothing tasted bland or boring, which says a lot about the quality of the chicken and seasoning. Kluckin Mild was a nice step up. It had some heat, enough to let you know it's there without being overpowering. This felt like a perfect everyday option -- flavorful, balanced, and very easy to enjoy. Kluckin Hot is where the heat really starts to kick in. It definitely made me slow down, but I loved that the flavor was still there. It wasn't just spicy for the sake of being spicy. You could still taste the seasoning and the chicken, which is something a lot of places get wrong. And then there's Kluckin Fire. This one is no joke. It looks like it would absolutely obliterate my taste buds. It definitely looks scarier than it is! The heat builds fast and lingers, and the staff definitely wasn't exaggerating when they warned me about it! That being said, it's still well made. This flavor actually ended up being my favorite! If you're someone who actually enjoys serious spice, you'll appreciate this level. It's intense, but it feels intentional. I also have to talk about the sides! The coleslaw was actually really good. Fresh, super crunchy, and well balanced. Not overly mayo-heavy or soggy like a lot of places do it. It had just the right amount of creaminess that helped cool things down between bites, especially when working my way through the hotter spice levels. It paired perfectly with the tenders and was honestly a lifesaver once I got to Kluckin Hot and Kluckin Fire. The crinkle cut fries were another highlight. Super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The crinkle cut shape made them extra satisfying, and they held up really well even as I took my time eating. They weren't greasy or limp at all! Which is always a plus. Dipping them in their kluckin sauce was so addictive. (Absolutely must have this with your meal here) Seriously, can we please bottle this sauce?! Overall, this place just does everything right. Great food, real spice options, and customer service that makes you want to come back. It's rare to find a spot where the staff is both knowledgeable and genuinely kind, and it makes a huge difference. If you're a hot chicken fan or someone who likes exploring different spice levels, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back and already recommending it to friends. Thanks so much for having me!!

And not to mention the flavors! I got the classic favorites: Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper and Orginal Hot. And wow, you can taste the differences in sauces they make compared to other places I've tasted. It's saucy and not dry. Each wing is covered in flavor. I also got their garlic fries which was packed with garlic herb flavor. Chic Wings did not disappoint and I'm ready to come back and try their other flavors!

If nobody can hear themselves talking, and everyone has to wear earplugs and scream to be heard...I just think that might have to be adjusted a bit. I work in music/audio, and I felt like, without earplugs, I was going to start to experience hearing loss in there. One night out's not worth your hearing. We had to leave before midnight, earplugs or no. That said, I actually really enjoyed the aesthetic of the place. The parking is plentiful, the vibe feels like your favorite "hole in the wall" spot, and it's got that classic tavern kind of feel. The food was decent (I had the 1/3 lb burger and fries). For the price, I felt like the burger was a little on the small side, but the flavor was good, and the fries were plentiful and were traditional steak fries-style, which were also pretty good. I arrived 90 minutes before match time, and the place was already more than half full. The hostess, a tall, gregarious brunette whose name I didn't learn, was friendly as could be, and showed me all the options remaining for a 2-top; and she completely left it up to me to decide. Once I picked a table, water was dropped off quickly, and our server, Alexandra, arrived for the first of many visits. She took great care of us, and always made sure we had whatever we needed. We didn't order any drinks of a fancy nature (a cosmo, a beer and a shot), but they came quickly, were properly prepared and quite generously poured. For food, we ordered what almost anyone would order in such a situation: pizza and wings. The 10" cheese pizza had a crisp crust with good-quality mozzarella that had plenty of flavor. The pizza here is far better than one normally gets in a sports bar, and shouldn't go unnoticed. Wings were also top notch: crispy on the outside, juicy as can be inside. I ordered the Parmesan-Garlic flavor, which was fairly drenched in fresh garlic and cheese, and was fantastic-tasting. It was a very nice change of pace from the usual Buffalo sauce, and fresher (read "better") than similar versions offered at other chicken wing places around the area. The crowd was great, the food was solid, the drinks were stiff, and the overall experience was about as much fun as you can have while your home team is being eliminated from the tournament 4-1. They have a full bar in the back but they also had a table set up out front for guests to order drinks there and not have to walk to the back which I think was handy. I arrived about 30 minutes after they opened, and my food was hot, fresh, and ready in about 7-10 minutes. While I was eating and watching the World Cup matches, Marion, one of the owners, came over and struck up a conversation. We talked about the different Hot Wings Café locations, and since I live closer to the Sherman Oaks location, he let me know that another family member runs that restaurant. I love supporting true family-owned businesses, and you can genuinely feel that family atmosphere here. Even during the lunchtime rush, there was a steady stream of customers coming in and orders going out, but the staff never seemed overwhelmed. It was easy to tell they have a loyal group of regulars. The young woman working alongside Marion was just as friendly, cheerful, and gracious, whether she was helping customers at the counter or taking phone orders. It's becoming harder and harder to find this level of genuine hospitality, especially at family-owned restaurants. They made everyone who walked through the door feel welcome, and that kind of customer service is something I truly appreciate. I'll definitely be visiting the Sherman Oaks location closer to home, but this Melrose location made a fantastic first impression. Great food, outstanding service, and genuinely kind people. Yesterday I was nearby so I decided to treat myself. I ordered an 8-piece combo with 4 Mango Habanero wings, 4 plain wings and fries. I paid extra for vegetables and ordered a fountain drink. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. The food came out lukewarm, almost cold. The fries were soggy, the wings were very small, dry, and overcooked the little amount of meat next to the bone was black. The Mango Habanero barely had enough sauce to even notice the flavor. What made it more disappointing was the price. I paid almost $27 for food that tasted like it had been sitting out and reheated instead of being cooked fresh to order. Meanwhile, I'd highly recommend New York Chopped Cheese & Lets Wing It in Mid City on Venice and Redondo instead. Their wings are bigger, more flavorful and the fries are actually seasoned. During lunch hours you can get wings, fries, vegetables, and a drink for $13 including tax. I really wanted Hot Wings Cafe to be consistent maybe I needed to dine in cause they have to be on their toes when you are in their face. The waitress we had went dining in was outstanding and the food was actually good then but after this experience, I will never order to go.
