I'd seen this on Social media and finally decided to drop by, but when I arrived it was more a warehouse with other various signage, but none for Slingers, so I got on Yelp and checked the reviews again and realized it was a ghost kitchen with multiple places and not a sit down location, so that was a bummer because in my head it was going to be a nice casual spot. Anyhoo, I still wanted it and was set to order, but they weren't open on a Saturday, so I had to wait for dinner another day to order and the food was fresh and tasty, their prices are fair, but I hate all of the extra cost and steamed food with delivery services. Placed 2 separate orders via DoorDash and twice both orders cancelled. 1st order was on Tuesday and the other today. They weren't cancelled right away, instead we waited over 30 minutes expecting our delivery for it to be cancelled. Both times leaving us stranded, looking for somewhere else to place a quick order. Since we don't eat red meat, we loves us our turkeyburgers and Slingers does not disappoint! And the service is great! We were early for our driver's test at the DMV, and ordered through Yelp! before we knew how far we were/how long Grubhub said it would take to make/time of day. I really had no expectations when I ordered because this was a new spot that I had never heard of but let me tell you, by far anything more than what I thought it would be! When I opened the box I was thinking I wouldn't get full because they look like small sliders but 2 of them was actually the perfect amount and I didn't feel hungry or uncomfortably full after eating them. Tried this recently and got the OG slider. It was SO good! The only reason I'm giving a 4 star review instead of 5 is because the Mac and cheese was inedible. The pasta wasn't cooked all the way and it was like biting into rubber. Had to throw it away unfortunately. Hopefully it was just an off day. It was so damn good! The best turkey burger I've EVER tried, and I've searched high and low! At first it seems a little small, but 2 of these bad boys are pretty filling. The Slingers sauce was interesting. A little zing, and a little kick. Perfect for dipping the sliders and fries. The mac and cheese was good, but the burgers are something else.
