This seems like a grocery store but what it's really known for is their grill with made to order meals. There's a cute little spot wrapped around the side where you can order from a kiosk. The decor is so comfy and cute, with complimentary tea as well. The grape dolmas I got were so yummy but I definitely will come back to try some more food from here. Also had to grab a baklava from the inside for dessert on my way out ;)

Fatima Bazaar & Grill is such a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I stopped by recently and ended up picking up halal veal from their market section -- the quality looked excellent. The meat was fresh, well-packaged, and clearly handled with care. It's not always easy to find good-quality halal veal locally, so this was a great find. I also browsed their specialty items and picked up some basturma and California black dates. Everything was neatly stocked and thoughtfully selected. You can tell they prioritize quality. The grill side is a bonus, it's convenient to grab a meal and shop in one stop. The space is clean and organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you're looking for quality halal meats (especially veal) and specialty Middle Eastern groceries, this place is definitely worth visiting. Will be coming back again.

Well-done ribeye
Cherylynn N.

TikTok brought me here... I was in the South Bay and Fatima Bazaar showed up on my FYP. I saw the beautiful wooden boards topped with meaty, flame-kissed kebabs and the ribeye steak (that was hyped up) accented with colorful salads and garnishes. Fatima Bazaar is part Middle Eastern market, part butcher shop, part grill. Seems like a hidden gem so LFG! Fatima Bazaar offers takeout, delivery, and dine-in (lounge like patio). Contactless ordering via two kiosks. They'll hand over your order at the window outside. M E N U Middle Eastern Fare - Array of kebabs, wraps, bowls, plates, sides, and more. Halal. They have hard to find items like Koshary, Egyptian street food made with rice, lentils, macaroni, chickpeas, and a tangy sauce and Hawawshi, Egyptian meat pie. F O O D I know some TTs are curated for collabs and it's common to not receive the same item as featured. Unlike what's shown, dine in orders were packed in takeout boxes and plastic utensils are provided which seems wasteful. I bought drinks at the market side and the cashier did remind the staff we were dining in (outside). * Kofta Kebab Plate w/ rice, tzatziki, salad ($15.99) - Requested juicy Instead of the usual formed patties/shorter kebabs, the kofta kebab was a koobideh cut in half - tender and juicy as requested but too salty for me. The accompanying long grain rice was flavorful and nicely separated. The refreshing tzatziki helped mellow the salt but was watery. * 8 oz Ribeye Steak ($19.99) - Requested medium rare While the ribeye had a nice seared crust, it was overdone to well. Trying to cut a steak in a plastic box with a plastic fork and knife wasn't it. It was easier just to tear the steak with our paws. * Beef & Lamb Shawarma Plate w/ fries, hummus, salad ($25.99) I like char but the shawarma pieces were blackened, verging on burnt and ladled on top of the crinkle cut fries rendering them soggy. This was more loaded shawarma fries than shawarma plate, and IMO expensive for what it was. The accompanying hummus was too thick and dense for my preference (wasn't finished with olive oil). S E R V I C E Ordered on the kiosk and our order called out in about 10-12 minutes. A M B I A N C E Covered patio with three lounge areas and one table. There's also a large TV. Overall, I need to better manage my expectations when finding things on TT because the food was underwhelming. Maybe it was an off day tho.

Frozen Halka & Baklava

Walked in as part of a weekend walk, so glad we did because we discovered a fantastic neighborhood gem! * Exterior may look small, but interior is clean, tidy, many well-stocked aisles, & an impressive range of all types of goods (produce, canned goods, drinks, pantry staples, frozen ingredients & ready-made foods, and a fresh deli!) * Staff was friendly & ready to help us at till * Highlights: We picked up 2 soft drinks: Salaam Cola, Pomegranate Barbican, and date ma'amoul for our walk. Everything was tasty and we can't wait to go back to pick up fresh lavash, hummus, & lunch at the deli!

Kubbeh

I got intrigued to try Fatima Bazaar grill after seeing it on TikTok. The market itself appears popular, but I found it less well stocked than many other Middle Eastern markets in the area. They do have what looks to be a very dynamic halal butcherie. There was a sign at the meat counter advertising Bengali fish, so interesting to see that multiple diaspora communities are being served by this market -- though looks like it's dna is Egyptian. Ordering was confusing, as there are no signs, but eventually I found out you order on an iPad. The POS system was easy to navigate. A kind, helpful man who I assumed was the owner let me know my food was ready in the eating area outside, on the right to the back. This was my favorite part of the experience; the outdoor seating area is cute and comfortable, and efforts have been made it to make it welcoming, with a complimentary tea station (unfortunately the water was not hot at that moment, ugh), couches, tv, Middle Eastern lights, Egyptian tunes. I'm not the biggest fan of Amr Diab, but when in Rome right? I tried kubbeh and a kofta kabob plate. It seemed like a good value, at only $25 for the plate and the kubba together, which was a lot of food. Kubbeh was enjoyable -- not mind blowing, but good. Same with the kofta plate. Legit. Kebabs had a nice char, hummus was earthy, yellow rice had a subtle taste of cardamom. It came with a chopped salad, tahini sauce and a little side of olives and shipka pepper. I was delighted to see the olives; I really enjoy a lot of accompaniments with Middle Eastern food. I finished the meal with a mini Dubai chocolate bar from the store. The texture with the kataifi was good, but the chocolate wasn't great quality, and pistachio flavor was lacking.

Hawawshi Traditional ( Egyptian Meat Pie )
Payel K.

This review is specifically for the Egyptian meat pie - Hawawshi. I just DoorDashed it today because it looked interesting. It was dry, small, the bread to meat ratio was ridiculous. There was no sauce to bring it all together and the little filling that existed between the two slices of dry whole wheat pita was under seasoned. All in all supremely unsatisfying.

What a wonderful spot! Amazing, friendly and patient service. The owner and the rest of the staff are awesome. The kebabs and everything else we ordered was delicious. I will be coming back and often.

Beef and Lamb bowl, Egyptian meat pie, chicken Shawarma, hummus, baba ghanoush

I highly recommend coming here, eating everything the deli offers, and buying as much as you can! The service was absolutely amazing, everyone was so helpful and very kind. All of the food I got from the deli was so delicious and the prices were very good! Definitely stop by if you're in the area, it's worth it! Our favorite food items were the Egyptian meat pie and hummus and the unassuming grilled onion! The best combo was dipping the grilled onion into the hummus! The outside ambience was incredibly nice, they did such a good job on the little lounge they have.

Koshary ( Egypt # 1 Street Food )
Grace X.

I feel robbed to have been missing out on koshary in my life until now- this was so good imagine like spaghetti but 100x better. I did some googling and koshary should be naturally vegan, the menu isn't labelled but I have no reason to think that it wasn't. It had 2 types of pasta, rice, chickpeas, lentils, fried onions, and a tomato garlic sauce. Portion size was pretty hefty, very decently priced. Just trust me and try the koshary you can thank me later.

Love this spot for comforting Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Egyptian eats. Their hawawshi (Egyptian street food) is my favorite. You can't go wrong with their wraps too. If you like desserts that aren't too sweet, their rice pudding is perfect. Super thick and creamy, almost like softened ice cream. I loved their complimentary tea station, which is especially nice now that the weather's getting colder! The outdoor lounge area makes this such a perfect spot to enjoy comforting meals with friends or family.

Shredded female dough, a.k.a. Kataifi as well as Turkish pistachio cream to make Dubai chocolate bars, or Dubai chocolate bark.

First time coming to this store I felt welcomed bc I was greeted by the very nice and friendly cashier. She seemed like the boss lady bc she was multi tasking by ringing up a customer, answerimg another customers question as well as greeting me as I walked in, The store reminded me of a neighborhood market similar to a bodega but with middle eastern products. It may offer other regions or parts of the world as well. I mainly came in there for two products of which I found.YIPEE ! I came in there to look for shredded Filo dough as the one that I used to get it from on Stevens Creek is no longer there. Through a Yelp search, I found this store and found the shredded Filo dough in the freezer section area, almost towards the corner of the store. If I remember correctly, they had at least two or maybe three different brands of Kataifi (shredded Filo dough) Then, as I walked down the aisle in search of pistachio butter, I found a steel rack with three different versions of pistachio in a jar. I think it was pistachio butter, pistachio cream, and I just can't remember the third one. If someone can let me know I will gladly update this review. . The price range from $12.99 to maybe $15.99 a jar. As I was searching, I came across so many other products I would love to go back and purchase. I even saw spice mixes for paella and I love making paella. I make it from scratch however it never hurts to have a spice mix or other products in one's pantry. I also sell lots of sweets like cookies, teas, spices candy, etc. I didn't get a chance to tour the whole store but the next time I will certainly walk every aisle and purchase my favorites or the ones I am curious about.. When I was checking out that same nice lady helped me. I even said to her that I bet you could tell what I'm making... She started to smile and giggle and said yes. I shared with her that I went to bakery and they were selling it for $20 a bar and she kindly offered the ones sitting right there at the register. But I said I wanted to make this at home first, and when I come back, I will purchase a bar and other items. She was very friendly and nice. I didn't feel nervous when I walk in. Oftentimes I feel intimidated, but this place was very welcoming and nice. Even the stock people on the floor were very courteousand got out of their way so that one can shop. Support this market. Great experience. Can't wait to go back..

YUMMY

Amazing customer service! They're good is amazing, the RICE PUDDING to be specific. Amazing!!! I will be coming back and the owner is a super nice man! 10000/10

The staff here are really nice and helpful too. They even give you complimentary containers of their salt rub. My partner and I specifically come here specifically for their Picanha steaks which are extremely high quality and affordable. They're great to cook using the reverse sear method or grill like they do at Brazilian steak houses. They taste fantastic with chimichurri or even just with flaky salt because of how buttery the steaks are on their own. The last time we were here, we got 10 steaks for around $150 and we seriously thought we'd be spending way more. Of course the cost will depend on what you, like the prime rib here is very expensive, but weigh out your options! I do think everything else here seems to be a great price for the quality compared to mass grocers. I'd highly recommend anyone to check out this shop!

Recently we came back…read moretwice, once on Sunday as I forgot that the paella was a Friday thing, so the staff told me that they usually have paella and clam chowder freshly cooked on Friday. They happened to have a small tub of Friday clam chowder left for sale, for a whopping $16! That price dropped my rating to a 4 star. Service is still 5, but man, the value proposition isn't as high as before. The clam chowder tasted good, creamy and all, but $16 for that is really hard to swallow. The store itself is clean and sells a variety of meat products and imported goods such as from Italy. We came again on Friday evening, at 5pm exact and saw the paella pan laid outside with some amount of paella piled up. The pan felt cold and we were confused if they haven't started cooking or those were the left over. So we went inside to ask and they said the paella was available starting at 5pm, so what's on the pan was cooked. We bought 1 portion, which feeds 2-3 and it came in two 16 oz tubs. For $35, it fed my husband and myself just right. The smoky flavor was on the rice with meat and lots of clams and mussels (but not those fatty mussels that you saw in the Belgium style dish). $35 for dinner of two is not as bad value as the $16 bowl of chowder. So overall, 3.5-4 stars for food and value, 5 stars for service and friendliness.
