Food was good but here's the deal, I was a first time customer (I say first because I'm never going back) and the man who I placed the order with over the phone was SO rude I couldn't believe it. Not being familiar with their menu, I had maybe 3 simple questions, and after each one I was given an increadibly snarky answer and annoyed tone. Our family really likes their pizza. The sit down food is really very good. Even though it is a pizza / restaurant if you're in the mood to go out for dinner give it a try. As a preface, this is not your average Pizzeria; expect to pay a small premium in return for the best imported ingredients Italy has to offer. With that being said, everything on the menu is cooked to perfection. You won't find grease, burns, or crumbled cheap mozzarella when your pizza comes to your door. While I think their cheese slice is the best in town, the chicken rolls are monstrous delicacies that will make even the biggest foodhole smile. You also can't go wrong with the soups or specialty slices. The dinner entrees are also fantastic, I.e the penne a la vodka. They are all home made and taste just like mom used to make it. The owner Rob is also a really great guy who loves what he does and is quick with a joke as you wait for your food. We're on Long Island so yeah, we've got pizza places. Some are better than others of course and while most do at least a few things very well Fattusco's does it all exceptionally! They only use fresh ingredients and hand toss each pizza to order which is evident when just looking at the pies and slices. The first pie we got for takeout was the Neapolitan Tuscan with San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, sliced imported sopresata, sausage, mushrooms, caramelized onions and fresh basil. The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are very tidy and measured so that the fresh ingredients complement each other nicely. I've been back for take-out, dine-in and brought friends so we've had many of their variations; all of which have been superlative. read more

Good friendly service, nice clean place. Pizza was fair at best, but about average for the area.....not many good pizza places around the Northport-Huntington area. Have lived here for 2 years and its very hard to find good pizza compared to other areas on Long Island. Pizza sauce was not good, crust was only fair pizza came out of the oven warm not hot, we could eat it right away...odd. The complementary garlic sticks were not good, the garlic had a bad burnt taste. My wife ordered a soup and it was very bland. Prices were quite high and I would have given it 1 star if it were not for the good service and clean place. I will keep looking for a better pizza place and will not return. read more

The owner came over and immediately attended to my needs, offered me a sample slice of pizza, and told me about how he learned to cook from his (now 97 year old) grandmother. I haven't tried anything else but the pizza. They have a wide variety of gourmet slices and the crust is usually crunchy but I've never had a good slice. It is extremely expensive and there's nothing special about their pizza to me. Nice people. Cutesy atmosphere. Wow. I came out of reviewing retirement for this fiasco. First time at Fattusco's. FWe sat outside. Small table basically in the parking lot of a strip mall. But okay. Three of us. Son ordered pizza. I ordered mozzarella caprese. Husband ordered clams. The waitress brought us "garlic" bread and a small cup of tomato sauce for dipping. Had a feeling after tasting those that we were in trouble. Garlic bread burnt and had no flavor. Sauce tasted like water. They brought my son his slice of pizza first. He finished it. We're still waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Our waitress never came out and said "sorry it's taking so long". But okay. People are coming and going with their take-out orders. Clearly their priority. People are arriving with their own alcohol since they don't serve alcohol. Would that have eased our pain? Wish we would've known. Although even a magnum of vodka would not have made any of this okay. Finally, after THIRTY minutes of keeping my cool, I finally went inside and said "How much longer, because we've been waiting forever". Btw, by this point, my son had gone to the market next store to buy ice cream and was eating that at the table for dessert. They finally brought the mozzarella caprese out and I dug in, ravenous. Stop and Shop, anyone? Yup, horrendous. TEN minutes later, still no clams. My husband finally went inside and they said that they would bring it out in a few minutes. My husband said no, he would just wait there until it was ready. A few minutes later, they gave it to him, he paid and said" just wrap it to go at this point". He came outside with it, he put it on the table next to my Stop and Shop mozzarella caprese and we drove away as fast as we could to trying to shake off the incompetence and horrendous aftertaste of FATTUSCO's the best that we could. read more

Living on Long Island, there's no end to pizza places, and everybody seems to have their favorite. Fattusco's blows them all away. Their pizza is delicious. It stands apart from any of the other local pizza places. Being creatures of habit, my husband and I have a special order that we get every time, a thin crust Sicilian. I'm always tempted to order one of their entrees, but their pizza is so good that we just keep getting it whenever we are looking for an easy meal night. And the staff is so accommodating and nice. This is by far the best Pizza in Northport. Perfect crust, perfect sauce, perfect ratio of toppings. Entrees are excellent but pricey... Pasta Dishes are interesting and well done. It is shame what happen to this place when I was growing up this was the place to get the best pizza in Northport. Now it's a place where soggy greasy regular pizza , over priced entrees and extremely average food is served. My friend got the fried calamari and a Thai chili slice. The calamari tasted very typical and had no pieces of squid which is the best part. I order a grandma slice and baked clams. The grandma slice was good but the baked clams were the smallest, dullest portion a 15$ appetizer could possibly be. I finish both items and was still hungry. Since I hate leaving a food establishment hungry , I ordered an additional slice thinking that it would be good considering I enjoyed the grandma. Damn was I wrong, I got the soggiest greasiest slice of pizza i might have ever eaten. Then my friend had a weird craving for a sweet tooth. So on a recommendation from the staff he ordered a piece of chocolate cake. It looked and tasted like it was from stop and shop and was presented horribly. We left spending 25$ each for a meal we didn't enjoy as we use to as kids. RIP Fattusco's. read more

I was looking for a new pizza place to try and the reviews brought me to Fattusco's . I went to their website to take a look at their menu. Well their link to the menu did not work. That did not deter me, I just went to a site that list the menus for many restaurants and found theirs. So I call to order a pie, and all I got was a busy signal, I tried about at least six times but still got a busy signal, on the seventh time I finally got their phone to ring, but nobody picked up and it just kept on ringing until it eventually went to a busy signal again. Fattusco's might have the greatest pizza in the world but I will never know. read more
