I really like this place, I kept hearing about it so I figured I had a day off would go check it out. All I can say is I'm more then happy with this place, I got 3 slices 1 plain 1 buffalo chicken and the last was grandma slice A+ on all of them. We're NYers who live in CA, so whenever we come back we make it a point to get to Fattusco's at least once, it's that good. Tonight the Manicotti, Broccoli Rabe, veal Parm, Linguine w Clam Sauce, Meatballs were all excellent. And the service is personal, personable and terrific. Thanks Fattusco's!!! Unbelievable experience here! Not from the area and just driving around Long Island sort of lost, stopped in since I saw the signage outside that said "BEST PIZZA IN LONG ISLAND" I figured I'd stop in for a quick slice. Me and the owner got to chatting, GREAT guy.. He brought me and my two friends out a couple different slices, mostly specialty but they were all phenomenal. We also ordered chicken parm which he brought us all out a bowl of penne vodka as a side and to top it off gave us cannolis on the house, they were sooo good. I'm sad it's so far away from where I live cuz I'd go back weekly. The owner bobby is so passionate about his work and the quality of the food proves it. Stopped by for lunch recently and I was impressed with the selection of gourmet pizzas, rolls and paninis. I tried a slice of pizza made with black mozzarella and truffle oil and loved it. I also had a chicken Parmesan roll which was well prepared, fresh and delicious and was accompanied by a cup of delicious tomato sauce for dipping. Jason's Gourmet market is in the same strip center so now there is a destination spot for foodies at 1019 Fort Salonga Road in Northport. Comments from others about the price are certainly warranted, as this place isn't cheap particularly given the setting, but holy hell the food is phenomenal. One factor to definitely be considered is the BYO with no corkage fee (at least, for the time being). If you consider the significant cost savings from bringing your own (or, for that matter, doing that elsewhere but paying between $10 and $20 to have them give you a couple glasses and pop a cork), the price becomes much more palatable. The majority of reviewers have pointed out the extremely friendly staff and attentive service. Totally agree on these points. We were instantly comfortable with the staff and enjoyed speaking with them and hearing their thoughts on the food. The bread service alone is worth the few extra bucks! I think in order to make the best of Fattusco's, you need to be in the mood for it with the right set of circumstances. I don't think I would go for a casual meal without wine, there's plenty of other places for casual Italian (while not as yummy) but certainly easier on the wallet. I wouldn't go if I was looking for a fine dining experience, as there are plenty of Italian places just as hard on the wallet that give you the ambiance you're looking for. But, if you're in the frame of mind where you want to eat Italian, and something really amazing, paired with a nice bottle from your cellar, but not dressed to the nines for a big night out - this is where you want to go. read more

Quickly becoming a favorite of mine as far as pizza places in Northport goes. They know how to cook a pizza. It's never under or over cooked, always just right. Plus it has fantastic flavor. They are definitely using a high quality cheese and have a great recipe for their sauce. There is one issue that I have with the place that take off a star, neither have anything to do with the taste of the food. The first being the delivery. Any time that I have ordered anything and had it delivered, they always tell me "about 45 minutes" which always ends up being closer to an hour and 15 minutes. I would rather them tell me how long it is actually gonna take. I know people tend to be scared away with high wait times, but it's annoying to wait longer. read more

I placed an order the other night around 8pm not only did I never receive my food but they charged me and when I called they never answered the phone. This place is run/owned by people with absolute disregard for anyone other then themselves. They just want to take your money and run. This pizzeria is a "MUST TRY"! The pizza pies are delicious with crispy toasted sesame seeded crusts. We ate in the small cozy dining room. To start off, the bread was served warm/toasted deliciously crusty Italian bread from Brooklyn that I love so much. Every appetizer the chef/owner prepared was over the top delicious! Rob has a passion for fresh, perfectly prepared food with delicious spices. Everything he makes is carefully cooked and served to perfection. The flavors of all dishes were so enjoyable. There is an extensive menu and also a specials menu. The choices are endless. If you want to change something, anything on the menu to your liking, Rob will gladly make it for you. He makes you feel comfortable and at home at Fattusco's. It is a must to mention, the meatballs were the best my husband has ever eaten and he orders them at every Italian restaurant! This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a strip center, the food is simply superb. Both my wife and I love the red snapper. The bolognese sauce is also excellent. An added bonus is that you can bring your own wine. On the small side size wise but they are expanding into the next unit thankfully. Highly recommended. read more

We had pizza before a party. The crust is thin and crisp The plain was good But the slice with Italian meats was out of this world. The place was packed with people picking take out orders. Best pizza around! I am very picky when it comes to food quality, and this is my new favorite restaurant! There is always a great selection of pizzas to choose from, and they are always fresh. From chicken Marsala, to vodka sauce, barbecue, and buffalo chicken pizzas to fresh mozzarella, portobello, basil, and balsamic pizza, you can't go wrong! The Sicilian pizza is nice and light..never doughy. All slices are crispy and as flavorful as you could ask. There is also a huge selection of entrees for dinner to choose from. We placed an order through Grubhub. The food was delivered hot, and was delicious, BUT the portions were small, the price was too high, and for the price I would have at least expected a side salad. Walked in at 6 and they were cleaning up and told us they were closing . The owner was in the back and heard us telling the counter clerk we were here because they told us they would be open. Fattusco's Pizzeria and restaurant is out of this world! I went last night with my husband, and the owner Rob is the nicest guy who treats you like family...The food was truly fresh, delicious. I had a shrimp francese with pasta, AMAZING!, and my husband had chicken with pears and gorgonzola, delish! Stopped in here Thursday evening. My wife has been wanting to try this place for the longest time.. We order a plain cheese pizza to go, simple enough. We get home to find that half of the pie is extremely dark and burnt underneath. One slice actually had a chunk of something burnt and black stuck to their bottom of it. For 18 or 19 dollars you'd expect something borderline eatable. This was flat out awful.. they worst we've had in a long long time. Second visit today. Chose the 12" Balsamic Chicken Specialty Neapolitan Pizza and it was DELICIOUS!! Panko breaded chicken cutlets, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and balsamic glaze. I added the balsamic caramelized sweet onions from Athens Grandpa's Sfingione pie. The pizza is absolutely amazing. You can totally tell that they use the freshest ingredients. The pizza crust is out of this world and the cheese he uses on his pizza is so delicious. But pizza is not the only thing they do well. I ordered the Porchetta sandwich which is probably the best roasted pork sandwich I've ever had. Wow!! I was looking for a nice salad and slice of pizza last night and when I went to call in my salad at my usual pizza place, it seemed they were having phone issues. Living in Northport I have driven past this spot many times and remembered I'd be passing it tonight so I thought hey I'll try somewhere new! Let me just say, the food and customer service here is TOP NOTCH! I ordered an Italian chopped salad which was absolutely delicious. The chicken cutlet that went in it was cooked to perfection! I loved the fact that they put the hot chicken cutlet into a separate container so it would get my cold crisp salad all hot and soggy. Whatever the creamy dressing was on it, it was delish! While looking at the many choices of specialty slices one in particular caught my eye. I'm a huge fan of mushrooms and the slice I ordered had mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, diced tomatoes and balsamic glaze... Simply one of the best slices of pizza I have EVER had and whatever they did to the crust with seasoning and sesame seeds... Yum! I wished I had gotten 2 slices of it :( I can't wait to return here with my husband when he is back from a trip. While waiting, I glanced over the menu and can't wait to try some of the seafood dishes next time!
