Had a catered event during the holidays by Fattusco's. I dealt with the owner who was so lovely, knowledgeable and accommodating. I can't rave enough about the food! The stuffed mushrooms were delicious, the pasta dishes were mouth watering and the meat dishes were superb! My guests were all "foodies" and they all commented how awesome each dish was. I ordered a specialty pizza with prosciutto on it on their menu and got a pizza that had everything we wanted but expect for prosciutto we got Sopressata on it. My family was specifically looking forward to prosciutto. We called and Marc asked if he could remake it. There's no time when you have very hungry family members. Please get the orders right. Placed an order thru the AP Slice ordering a calzone, mozzarella and tomato salad and eggplant rollitini. I order at 4:45 pm and requested a 6:00 pm delivery and I am literally 5 minutes away from the restaurant. At 5:45 I sat on the couch by the front door waiting for deliver. At 6:30 I sent a chat to Slice asking where the food was. They called the store and was told the food was delivered and the driver called my cell and knocked on the door. The food was outside the door and must have been delivered early. There was NO CALL to my cell and no one knocked or rang the bell. Just drop and run! Food was cold and the bag was covered with ants after sitting on the steps for over 30 minutes! Not ordering there again! I'm looking at my cell phone and there was NO CALL ATTEMPT. Was sitting at my front door and no one knocked or rang the bell. I realize you may have many deliveries but your driver did NOT call nor did they knock or ring the very load door bell. I try to support local restaurants and do not appreciate being treated so poorly. We are in our 80's and it's hard to drive and pick up food so we rely on delivery. Very disappointed. read more

Stopped there for pizza last Friday. Ordered half pepperoni and garlic knots. They gave someone else's order by mistake, half mushroom. Whoever answered the phone was very nice and offered to make us a fresh pizza. I drove back and picked it up, very good pie. The knots were so oily I was afraid America would invade them. Super tasty but soooo oily. Ordered them again for my birthday on Sunday. Sicilian was very good and the pepperoni, regular slice was great. We asked for less oil on these knots, which were wayyyyy better this time. Same great flavor without the mess. read more

Well this will be the last time I ever travel for pizza in Suffolk county.. regular slice was all cheese, no sauce. That ain't pizza. It's cheesy bread. Veal cutlet hero. Cooked too long. Again no sauce and burnt hero bread. 15 miles from ronkonkoma to northport during rush hour. Never again. Next time I travel for pizza. I will travel. 40-55 miles. To queens, bklyn or NYC. Went with friends, on their recommendation and was pleasantly surprised by this gem. It is the last restaurant in the strip shopping center on 25A and Norwood. It's a small restaurant, and probably noisy later in the evening, but we arrived at 5PM, with our BYO. and it was quiet. The black and white checkered tablecloths are a nice touch. We were greeted by the charming owner and she had time to tell us about the expansion of the restaurant next door. You get a salad or pasta with your entree. We LOVE this place! The owners are simply the best and frankly it's amazing watching her run every table and greet every guest as they're family. She seems to know everyone is really endearing and the kind of atmosphere you want to be in. But the food...what you want to hear about...we both get pasta fagioli soup every single time we go it's AMAZING it comes out like hot lava but it's so good I can never wait enough for it to cool and I don't care it's delicious. All of their entrees are delicious and I suggest trying a few things to share because it's always hard to pick just one! If you're going for pizza I love getting pepperoni chips with my slices because they're awesome to compliment the pizza. Any of their slices are A+++ So basically I have no complaints and you all should be regulars! read more

The restaurant was boisterous on a Saturday evening. Thanks to BYO policy, large groups of diners enjoyed the location for a get together. Not sure what to try for takeout (the pizza slices did not look attractive), I tried three items: pepperoni chips (pepperoni slices enveloped in thin dough), chicken parm "roll", and spinach "pinwheel". The result was a bit like Goldilocks... one too oily (pepperoni chips), one too doughy (chicken parm roll) (white bread texture), and another just right (spinach pinwheel) (chewy dough exterior surrounding spinach and mozzarella filling). The restaurant seems to strive to be creative, yet dough should maintain expectations of NY/Italian pizzerias (chewy, smoky, yeasty). Lasagna is solid. We've enjoyed the bolognese pizza (tho it was once delivered with no ricotta, which then makes it lackluster.) For a traditional pepperoni pie, the crust is a little too soggy, and the sauce is a little too sweet for me. (I'd go to Gino's for that instead.) We've also had the chicken with Gorgonzola and pear. Cute little Italian restaurant (in the process of expanding next door) in Northport. Came here for a pickup order on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. We only got a few slices but everything was amazing. They have a these stuffed garlic knots that come in a variety of flavors. They are out of this word. I really recommend you give them a try. It's refreshing to see something else done with a garlic knot. The service was exceptional as well. I will absolutely return. read more

We've gotten Nonna pies, Side of meatballs, and garlic knots 20 times in the past 6 months. Everything has been outstanding. Delivery is timely, drivers are pleasant. We just ordered half trays of the Pasta Rustica, Chicken Parm, and Grilled Veggies. All were a hit. Nonna Pie is a classic grandma pie with fresh mozz, basil, and chunky tomatoes cooked in a pan . I'm rating this place solely on the pizza we have had delivered to our house here in East Northport. I've never actually been to the restaurant. Having had a cheese pie and Nonna's pie delivered from nearly every Italian restaurant around here since we moved to the area a few months ago, the family have voted that Fattusco's has the BEST pizza in the area. Did take out - my daughter ordered linguine with white clam sauce - she complained it had a lot of sand in it . Thinking she might be too sensitive I told her to save it for me . I eventually tried it - it was inedible. Too bad - because if not for the sand it had a good taste . The clams obviously were not rinsed . My wife had a panini which she felt was not a panini most likely because we asked for it without red peppers on it - it did not seem pressed. I had Zuppa di Pesce which was good . I reached out to them through their website and received no response. We will go back to Gino's. read more

Best garlic knots ever !!! Their pizza is pretty top notch too! I have ordered here plenty of times and always a great meal! The staff is also always friendly ! This is my go to for this neighborhood. They even have a general tso's chicken pie ! Something different but yummy none the less . But again I am going to stress the garlic knots (drools). I've always ordered take out and picked it up . I'd like to eat there once but every night I pick seems to be busy so I just take it home since I don't live far . There are not enough stars. Don't let the pizzeria in the name fool you. Although they make great pizza. The chef is as good as they come. Marc and Virginia made excellent food recommendations, set up wait staff and sent all warming trays.
