Had a hard time finding the cafe even with navigation due to the sign being hidden by the tree. Once inside had to write my name down on a wait list, never greeted by staff waited 20 minutes a large party of 7 came in after us and was seated within 5 minutes. At which point I left. We were so excited to try Faye's Cafe! The food was delicious and the experience surpassed our expectations. Our family wiped our plates clean and we left with full bellies. My favorite part was all of the little different nuances in her dishes that my kids would have never tried on their own. This was the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The atmosphere and vibe was so fun and cool, hence being in a very old building. Also the food was so delicious, you can mix-and-match all of the options. You can also order one of their signature combos which is also very tasty. When I first went to Faye's I was excited with the options and creativity they allow the customer to have. I can order the same item on the menu, over and over, and It will never get old, because there are so many ways to twist it. The more creative you get, the better it tastes. If you like options, being creative, the most friendly service, and food that goes above and beyond all expectations, then I would certainly recommend Faye's. Pricey place, and worth every cent. If you want a 6 dollar breakfast, go to Denneys. If you want food that will make you think your at a PBS cooking show then go to Fays. I had the Huevos Rancheros made with poached eggs, no tortilla with salsa and Alvacado, side of quesadillas with chicken and cheese along with a sour cream that is very unusual, red rice and beans, all kinds!! My mouth thought I had died and gone to heaven!!!Very good coffee also.. Kat had the pulled pork enchiladas with the red rice and beans. Best pulled pork I have have ever tasted. Kat loved them. The server,Cole, was the best I've ever seen. Handled 10 tables without a glitch. A very nice young man with no waisted movement.. The Chef/owner Fay came out and talked when she had a second. A great person and one of the best cooks ever!! If you dont go here because it cost a few dollars more you are missing out on some of the best original cooking anywhere. We just loved it!!! I told him it must be veg and the 1 or 2 foods I don't care for... and then I put my trust in Faye. There were 7 of us who ordered Faye's Choice and we all received something different and AMAZING. She made me 3 tacos, each with slightly different ingredients and delicious sauces. The atmosphere also adds to the experience.
