Celebrated Easter at FAZ what an amazing experience we had. Our special table was ready as soon as we arrived 1:00pm for a party of 16. Grace our host truly has the most fitting name. She made us feel welcomed. I had my 90 year old mom with us who is a vegetarian Grace and her chef went over and beyond to accommodate her. The restaurant is in an apartment complex first floor with a clean and easy accessible garage. I mean whoever planned this building truly thought of special guests. I have disabled husband and few elderly with walkers and canes. The parking is ten steps into restaurant from garage. The Easter Buffet was delicious plentiful and well served. The price for all that very reasonable and affordable for large parties. They are having a Mother's Day brunch maybe considering coming back. For $75, I anticipated quality food, but almost everything was either soggy or dried out. At the carving station, I had to hunt someone down just to get a slice. The breakfast entrées were so dry they were practically inedible. They really should have adjusted the food warmers. They served hummus, tahini, and baba ganoush, but there was no flatbread--just a dry focaccia that didn't pair well at all. Both the chicken and salmon were overcooked and dry. Again, lowering the heat lamp would have made a big difference. Service was another disappointment. My server didn't check in for 15 minutes to take my drink order. After waiting even longer for a water refill, I eventually had to ask the hostess. The only time service was prompt was when they brought me the check. For $75, I expected much more. Grace has done it again!! My wife and I haven't dined here in over a year and half because we had a baby and got busy with work. I had family members working on Thanksgiving so we decided to have our family dinner on Friday and go out to eat on Thanksgiving. I selected Faz because they had a great looking buffet menu. What we encountered was far different. The prime rib was very fatty and the turkey was cold. The gravy tasted like it came out of a can. The shrimp and smoked salmon were warm instead of chilled. There was no bread or dinner rolls. The ravioli lacked flavor. Overall, this was the worst restaurant meal I have had in years. The only really tasty dishes were the dressing and the oatmeal cookie. To add insult to injury, my wife and I got really sick with an intestinal issue later that night. I strongly suspect that the culprit was food poisoning. I never write negative reviews but I travel extensively for work and eat in restaurants all over the country. This was truly one of the worst dining experience I have ever had read more
