    Lunch buffet assortment
    Liz C.

This review is for the weekend lunch buffet. Indian Sizzler has a clean interior and many different options for their lunch buffet (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian). The lunch buffet comes with dosa and naan automatically and it is brought out to your table. I got a little bit of everything and for the most part, each item tastes fresh, hot, and seasoned. My favorites were the naan, dosa, fish curry, briyani, tandoori chicken, and saag. They also have fresh chai included in buffet price. There was also a dispenser of sprite soda, but the carbonation was lacking given that it was sitting in a dispenser. Service was efficient in clearing plates, although sometimes too efficient as I'd sometimes still have small pieces of food that I was still working on and they'd clear it. We were asked around 2 or 3 times about ordering a drink despite kindly declining the first time, and the subsequent times thereafter. One of my biggest complaints is the time limit though. This place does get busy and I understand setting a time limit for the lunch buffet as I'm sure they don't want people to linger for too long. However, for $28 per person, I feel like a 45 minute time limit is too short. I can't say I'm a rapid eater nor a slow eater, but it felt like with this time limit I couldn't converse with my family and we just had to keep eating to make the most of the buffet itself. I think this would be a challenging place to bring a friend you want to catch up with given the time limit. Overall, good flavor and variety of foods.

    - $25 per person - Yes, garlic naan AND dosa are included in that $25 price - Very clean restaurant - Lots of varieties for both veg and non-veg customers - Ice Cream - Iced Fanta Soda - Chai - Great Service - Clean Bathrooms (at the time) There was Pav Bhaji that was largely left untouched, but I was the only gringo who took some. It was pretty good.

Came to Indian Sizzler at the request of the sister for her birthday. She had recounted the last few times she had gone here, her and her SO food coma'd so hard. It was no wonder she wanted to come back. Located along Great America Parkway, Indian Sizzler has taken over the old Bennigan's. Inside has plenty of booths with the middle section for the huge variety of dishes. There are even drinks like soda and chai offered on the bar counter. Our party of six got a corner booth and headed straight for the buffet. Their lunch buffet is a reasonable price too! Everything we got was super delicious. They provide both naan AND dosa to the table (to get you to fill up). I especially liked the goat curry, butter chicken, and chicken 65. Dessert also had a wide variety - I especially liked the custard-like one and sago (not too sweet!). Overall, would love to return again!

Buffet Plate - Mutton Pepper Soup, Podi Idli, Vada, Mix Veg Pakora, Chicken 65, Tandoori Chicken, Gobi Manchurian

Expensive Buffet ($28 as of Mar '26) but totally worth it. There were around 15 to 20 different items on the Buffet and everything was great. Mutton Pepper soup was spicy and flavorful and one of the best in South bay. Other than the soup, loved the chicken sukka, tandoori chicken, podi idly, chicken 65. They also serve great naans and masals dosa as part of the buffet and had 4-5 types of dessert including kheer, custard, ice cream, lychee halwa. The ambur chicken Biryani was relatively on the bland side a docking a point for that as going just for that could cause you disappointments. Everything else including the dosa, butter chicken, naan were amazing. Totally recommended for buffet.

Wow what a feast we had! Everything was fresh and delicious, I was very impressed by the quality. I was worried because the serving dishes seemed small but in the end we were all full and satisfied! This was our first time coming, we were a party of 4 and decided to order a couple of dishes. We went with the bread basket, palak classic with paneer, bhindi amchuri, butter chicken, vindaloo chicken and lemon rice. Everything was a hit, I'm so happy we went with the bread basket, I was able to try an assortment of delicious, warm bread. Everything was so full of flavor and tasty, creamy sauces, the rice was delicately flavored with lemon and complimented the meal perfectly. All of our dishes were mildly spiced and even our most pickiest of eaters was able to handle the spice level. I believe this restaurant used to be Bennigan's (R.I.P) and the set up was very reminiscent of the layout. There were several booths and a nice full bar. Service was friendly, and the ambiance was quiet in a casual setting. This is a restaurant I highly recommend and I can't wait to go back to try their other dishes and weekend buffet!

I'm back in the Bay Area now, returning from Vegas. Glad to be back in a familiar area. I came to this Indian restaurant on the advice of a local on my crew. He said it was a fantastic Indian buffet, he ought to know, he's Indian, I dunno if he's born there, but he knows Indian food. The name of this place gives me memories of the Sizzler Steakhouse of old. Maybe they should have picked a different name. Indian Sizzler is located on Great America Parkway, just north of the 101. You can only get into the shopping center where the Sizzler is located from the north (southbound), so if you're coming from the freeway, you need to make a U-turn at Mission College Blvd. and go back to the driveway for the restaurant. The price of $25 for the buffet is the most I ever paid for an Indian buffet, but this has gotta be the fanciest and biggest buffet of this kind I ever saw. Tons of dishes, most of which I never heard of or tried. The place was very clean and the service was good and quick. I have my faves of Indian food I guess and I don't try too many other things, but I know what I like. It's the Tandoori chicken and tikka masala over that Basmati rice. The rest of the dishes are just a little too strange for me. Oh well, I guess some people are like tat at Chinese restaurants ... there's a thing "too authentic". I got lots of the tandoori and naan. The chicken was super tender and well flavored. Even at $25, I got my monies worth with the amount of chicken I ate! The tikka masala was yummers too! I'll come back if I'm in the area.

Dinner buffet for $28 on weekends is worth a try. They serve beyond the basic Indian dishes, and naan/dosa unlimited are delivered to each table. Chai tea and sprite are self-serve. My favorite was the tandoori chicken which was extremely tender. Don't forget to leave space for dessert!

We were looking to dine at an Indian food buffet in the evening and were happy to have found Indian Sizzler. Since most buffets serving Indian food are usually offered only at lunch, it was a pleasant surprise to find one within the area for dinner. There was a decent selection of curries, rices, protein choices, and desserts. An unlimited amount of chai and fruit juice is available for all diners. The restaurant quickly filled up around 6pm with happy diners. Servers directly serve you garlic naan and dosa to your tables. I would come back again!

A selection of dishes, including ski Lankan lamb curry, saag corn, matar paneer, biryani, aloo bonda and chicken 65

One of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area - the butter chicken is to die for. I also love the saag corn and matar paneer, and the fact that hot naan and dosa are served at the table. There are about 8 vegetarian dishes and 8 meat dishes, including various curries. Dessert consists of about 8 dishes also. The homemade chai and Fanta, also included in the price, are appreciated. Service is always friendly and polite, and we never feel rushed to leave. Ambiance is relaxed, with Indian music and relaxing videos on the TVs. I will continue to drive 20+ miles to get my Indian fix - as long as they keep making the butter chicken!

This is a great Indian buffet and must try if you are in the area. We didn't wait long to be seated for lunch because we arrived when they opened on Sunday. The food is fresh and lots of options for carnivores and herbivores. The ambiance is nice and servers were friendly. I liked that lunch buffet included Sprite and tea.

A little bit of everything. I loved the Goat Curry

My co-workers and I checked out Indian Sizzler's Lunch Buffett. The company paid, so I didn't see the price per person, but I believe it is around $28. They had a lot of meat and non-veg options. I personally loved the Goat Curry. The butter chicken was classic as well. The restaurant is very nice and clean. This is a great place for large groups. The service was top notch, especially since we had a very large group. I can't wait to come here again.

Great casual lunch place if you work nearby. Tons of variety to suit any coworker. Have not tried the actual ala carte food or non lunch so can't speak on that. Love that they drop off naan fresh to the table.

Indian Sizzler took over a long standing American sizzler lol But it is a classic indian style buffet which has vegetarian and meat options. It is clearly labelled that the end of the buffet line is for non-Veg They also have dessert and chai tea if you want any. Overall a great experience a middle end dining experience. Their website has a video of their spread so check it out! Parking is plenty but try not to park in the business area

Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.

It had a nice creama layer and a well balanced flavor. Not too acidic or bitter. I got the french onion soup, labeled as a popular item/staple of the bakery. It is quite a lot of soup, I wish it came with a side of bread/sourdough as towards the end it was all soup and nothing to contrast it. It was nicely broiled at the top with some small pieces of bread and a healthy layer of cheese that made it so exciting to eat. Even the crust of the bread had some crunch although fully soaked. The bakery has wifi which is really handy since I think reception in that area wasn't the best. Wifi password is displayed at the register. I will come back to try the sandwiches!

We've been coming…read morehere for years, and whether it's a packed Saturday brunch or a quiet weekday, the food quality and service never waver. That reliability is rare, and it's why Bloom is always my first recommendation. When family or friends visit from out of town (or locally) Bloom is where I take them. Every time. The food speaks for itself. The steak is cooked exactly to order, every single time. Medium rare means medium rare tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The duck fat potatoes are so good I order an extra side even when they come with my entrée. My wife loves their chicken and waffles. It's a difficult meal to pull off, but Bloom does it justice! The chilaquiles are outstanding they genuinely capture authentic Mexican flavors in a way that holds up against homemade family recipes and the best taquerias I've been to. The cocktails here are the best in the Bay as well. They taste delicious, and the presentation is eye-catching and photo-worthy. They're also strong without sacrificing taste, which is so hard to find. Sometimes a cocktail is delicious but weak, or strong but unpleasant. Bloom's drinks are perfectly balanced every time. Our favorite drink is the Palomina. It's refreshing, complements the food beautifully, and it's the kind of drink that keeps you sipping until the glass is empty. Whether you're celebrating or simply treating yourself, Bloom is the destination for a boozy brunch done right. This restaurant is truly our favorite. We've come here to celebrate life's milestones, and we've come here during difficult times when we needed a pick me up. Great food brings comfort, and we know we can always count on Bloom to deliver. They never disappoint. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and owners for making this such a special place.

I tried the pandan latte and was pleasantly surprised on how you could still taste the pan although it is not as strong as I've had with matches I think with the coffee it went really well to add extra aroma to the milk. It had the perfect amount of caffeine. The kiosk to order can be a little confusing. Not everything is uploaded with pictures, which could be more helpful for our first time customers. I ended up helping a couple next to me. Look for the burrito because it was labeled somewhere else in menu. If I have time to dine in, I would love to try everything on the menu. It looks so good. They even have Korean style toast here. On Mother's Day the seats were all taken as everyone was just chilling there, but I think it's a great spot on weekdays to do work or grab a quick brunch with friends. The area is very spacious and not tight like some other coffee shops.

Flavor is not diluted by melting ice and neither is the caffeine. 10/10 will return for my cold brew when working in Santa Clara. Ambiance: looks like an inviting place to sit and work and they have snacks! Quick service and very clean (:

The staff made my dad's 80th birthday perfect…read more I organized a casual drop-in gathering for my dad's 80th -- no private event, no deposit, just a large group coming and going over four hours. Toni worked with me over the phone to make it happen, and when there was a small miscommunication about the vibe I was going for, she course-corrected instantly -- not just in communication but in the actual setup. That kind of pivot is rare. The outside area was ideal for our group of roughly 60 throughout the day -- a mix of high tops, low tops, and couches that gave everyone somewhere to land. Heat lamps on when we needed them, off when we asked. Ellie and Shailyn were exceptional the entire time. I had to leave before I could personally thank the staff, which I regretted -- so I'm saying it here. This was exactly what I hoped it would be for my dad. Thank you, Toni, Ellie, and Shailyn. -- Anton
