The parking was surprisingly good for lunch time. Primarily inside seating. The restaurant was crowded. The atmosphere was loud as it's a popular place. I chose the BYO Bowl with Pomegranate Chicken: Marinated with pomegranate molasses and grilled to perfection. First time trying this location and first time trying a plate. I got the Uber eats deal so each plate was about 11.5 which is a great deal! I think back then they only had bowls and those were huge... I dunno if the portions have come down a bit I'll hafta try a bowl to compare. The portions for the plate were decent. I wouldn't say generous but not skimpy either. I tried all the diff proteins and they were slightly dry but generally solid. I kinda like Nick the Greek bowls better since there's more meat but I do like that this tastes a bit more authentic and I do love that they have beets and jalapenos as an option. I have passed by Sajj many times before but haven't been here until a lunch buddy suggested it. We arrived around 11:30 and it wasn't busy. None of us had been here before. We all followed suite with each other and ordered the salad bowl. You pick your protein and in what. You can get it in a wrap, or with rice, freekeh, or couscous in a bowl. Pick a spread or all three. I got hummus and garlic sauce. The other option is tzatziki. There are many toppings to choose from, vegetables and sauces. Some, I believe, are at an additional cost. There were too many ingredients to name what I got but bottom line, it was delicious! You also get a cup of lentil soup. The place is very clean, and there are tables outside. It got very busy toward the end of our lunch but it seemed the line went fairly quickly. I didn't realize until later that they have self serve water and soda fountain where you get your napkins and utensils. There was a green sauce in a squeeze bottle. Stopped by Sajj for a quick bite to eat after volunteering at Second Harvest food bank on a Saturday morning. It was pretty empty and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Think chipotle but Mediterranean. I really liked how everything tasted so fresh and we found out later that everything was locally sourced which is a nice bonus! She told me it was $9 something. Then, as I was about to pay, she opened the already close falafel bowl, took one falalal out and put it back in their serving area. She told me that kids get only 3 falafel. So this lady went out of her way to open a packaged meal, take something out of it and put it back behind the counter. That too for a kid's meal. Right away upon entering we were greeted by the young man behind the counter, who offered us some samples, along with some suggestions on what to try. I really appreciated the variety of choices for the type of dish (wrap vs. bowl vs. salad, etc) and the choices of toppings and dressings. The staff is usually really friendly and placing the order online guarantees that I don't have to wait since they are quite busy at this location. I usually order their chicken or beef shawarma bowl, loaded with greens, hummus, tzatziki, garlic sauce (light), eggplant, sumac cauliflower, tomato cucumber salad, onions, beets, tahini, and their cilantro mint chutney sauce on the side. I also really like their falafel, fries, and pita chips as side orders to compliment my meal. For the value and portion size, I think Sajj is always a good deal. Their food is usually always refreshing and filling- I can often split my bowl for both lunch and dinner. If I need a smaller portion, I will order their kid's meal which comes with one protein and 2 toppings, pita chips, and a juice box. Definitely will continue to come back as a great lunch spot and can't recommend them enough to others who haven't had a chance to give them a try. read more

I not sure whether I've done anything to offend the employees there or if it's just a horrible coincidence, but I am beyond frustrated. Today was the second time in a row where I had placed a to-go order via their app and they've made a mistake. The first time, I had placed an order for meat pies, a chicken shawarma bowl, and a wrap. What I got was cheese pies, a wrap, and a bowl without the chicken shawarma. I called the location and the wonderful manager apologized and offered to make things right by taking care of my meal next time I came in, which they did. Fast forward to this week. Placed the same order: meat pies, shawarma bowl and shwaffel wrap. When we get there the food is ready to go. My inner instinct told me to check, but because it was stabled I didn't want to deal with it. We get home, I open up the bag and sure enough, my bowl is not there. Instead they gave me a wrap. I check on the tag on the bag and clearly states "rice bowl." The rice is one of my favorite parts too, which sucked because the wrap didn't have any. Ended up eating half and throwing the rest out. I really hope they do something about making sure that the staff packed the oder accurately. For now, I'm going to go back to ordering in person. read more
