Always love the food!! Way better than Olive Garden in my opinion. My go to place! Favorite dish is the baked ziti with pepperonis on top!

Went to Fazolli 's on a Sunday afternoon it was not busy. We were served right away. We ordered lasagna and chicken fettuccine and spaghetti with meatballs. It came to our table quickly and it was good and hot. I especially liked the fettuccine sauce. It was reasonably priced.

3pm and floors are filthy. Food was so so. Service sucked. Very rude manager in a white shirt and breaded hair. Tried to ask a question when food was dropped on my table in front of me and was told "you will have to come to the counter"! Then she refused to except the check in offer. Fazolli's this was a second chance don't expect a 3rd. Shame it used to be so good 20years ago. Soggy bread sticks and dried up pasta.

I paid $18 for two meals and two small drinks. That is way to much for the quality of the food. The pastas alfredo sauce was so watered down you could see your fork through it. They pick up dishes but just pile them by the trash and don't take them to the back to wash. Gross to look at while I'm eating, y'all need to improve on quality and sanitation.

It's ok. Food is good. Not very friendly. Pretty fast service. It's pretty clean. But I really don't think to eat there for Italian .

Why is there a check in offer if the rude manager behind the counter will not except it?

Neapolitan pizza is something like a culinary ancestor to New York pizza, which has more mozzarella cheese and a somewhat sweeter sauce. The Italian salads and entrees are also excellent. The Chef-Owner trained in Italy, and it shows. Service is friendly, competent and responsive. The ambiance is modern, although I think the seating and tabletops are fairly basic. All in all, the pizzas are the stars of the menu, and well worth it as an authentic taste of classic Neapolitan cuisine.

They tasted just like a tortilla chip though soooo... I think 2$ is more appropriate (menu also had GF at 4$ and then we were charged 5$ at the end in which I thought I'd be getting gluten free bread too but alas, the app was really really good - a friends complaint is that it could use more lemon flavor, I can see that too) I was also charged 4$ for my gluten free pasta, but the dish was so so so good. The creamy sauce was absolutely incredible. I had the shrimp scampi along with a blueberry syrup mocktail and I was completely satisfied. Also had a taste of the blueberry martini which was also very good. My friend had the lasagna which she rated at 3 stars and said it was overcooked but the sauce was good. My sister had the lobster ravioli and it was undercooked, too al dente for her liking and was dissatisfied as it was the most expensive thing on the menu. My sister would go back, my friend would not, and i definitely would. Service was very nice. I just looked at my receipt and there is a charge for "rustic bread" so I'm not sure what that is... did they charge us for both the GF crackers AND the bread that should have been included in the appetizer? That's also not cool.

The pizza? Unreal. Cheesy, loaded, and unapologetically messy in the best way. The Four Meat Pizza is a carnivore's dream--piled high with every delicious topping they can fit on a crust. And speaking of crust, do yourself a favor and ask for it crispy. That's the magic move. We always start with a dinner salad--mostly to feel like we're doing something healthy before demolishing half a pizza. The service can be a little slow when they're packed, but honestly, it's part of the charm. Grab a drink, soak in the chaos, and wait for greatness. Poppa Rollo's isn't just a pizza joint. It's a Waco landmark. Quirky, delicious, and full of character--just like it's always been.

I've had the Chicken Parmesan pasta, the Margherita pizza, and the Pepperoni pizza. Each of them was above average. The Chicken Parmesan came with a nicely breaded and cheese-covered piece of chicken with spaghetti and two pieces of garlic toast. It was good, though it could have used a little more red sauce. Pizzas are available as 20" or 14" pies, and certain ones you can get by the slice. The crust is medium thickness, light, with a soft core and a crispy outside. The Margherita was good but I preferred the Pepperoni. Overall, both pizzas were above average. I especially liked the crispiness of the outside of the crust. They also have salads and wings. Dessert consists of cheesecake or funnel cake fries. I haven't tried any of these yet. There is an inside dining area, a bar area, and an outdoor patio area. The inside is shared with Common Grounds coffee shop and Heritage Creamery ice cream shop, a couple of other local favorites.

That wasnt my biggest concern though. Slow rise has been my favorite pizza spot. I usually go to the one on the brazos but it was my first time at this location, after listening to the loud people talking and supposedly were also working. I was trying to enjoy my favorite pizza and when i look down to get my next bite there is a hair in my pizza. I try to take it off because i do have dogs so i wasn't certain if it came from me. It was a blonde hair and when i tried pulling it out it was under the cheese and intertwined INSIDE the pizza. After that i felt nauseous and i dont think i will be coming back. The service was mediocre to say the least and the hair inside my pizza made me want to vomit. Sad to write this review but even sadder i had to experience this at my all time favorite pizza place.

I am writing this while waiting in line. I will write as much as I can whilst waiting in line. I…read morehave already been here for 20 minutes, and honestly it feels like time is moving in slow motion. It's one of those moments where you start off impatient, checking the time every thirty seconds, thinking the line is going to magically start moving faster just because you're watching it. But then you hit this point where you realize you're stuck here no matter what, so you kind of settle into it. It's like accepting defeat, but in a peaceful way. It's funny how waiting in line exposes how restless I can be. I'm so used to jumping from one thing to the next, always thinking ahead, always planning. But right now all I can do is stand here, shuffle forward an inch every couple of minutes, and come up with random thoughts to keep myself entertained. I keep looking around like something interesting might happen, but everyone else looks just as bored and zoned out as I feel. There's this weird shift that happens when you're stuck waiting: your brain starts drifting to stuff you don't normally slow down enough to think about. Like plans you haven't made yet, conversations you need to have, things you've been putting off, or even just how tired you are. My brain is bouncing between "I hope this line goes faster" and "maybe this is good for me." It's almost like being forced into stillness. I can hear the little hum of people talking, the random coughs, the footsteps sliding on the floor, and it all blends together into this background noise that makes the whole moment feel strangely calm. I'm not doing anything productive, but I'm not wasting time either. I'm just... here. Present. Waiting. And sometimes I think moments like this are actually underrated. You get space to breathe, even if it wasn't your choice. And the longer I stand here, the more I realize how often I rush through my days. I always want to get to the "next thing." But right now there is no next thing. There's just this slow-moving line, and me trying to make something out of a situation that would normally annoy me. Honestly, it's almost therapeutic to just let my thoughts spill out without overthinking anything. It's like I'm giving myself permission to just ramble and process whatever pops into my head. If anything, this might be the most productive part of my day, not because I'm accomplishing anything, but because I'm actually slowing down long enough to check in with myself. And the line still hasn't moved much, but I'm starting to care a little less. Maybe I'll be here another 20 minutes. Maybe longer. But at least I'm turning it into something instead of just staring at the back of someone's head and wishing I was somewhere else.
