I was looking forward to Feast since I saw it's a sister restaurant to Brando's in Asbury. It was a convenient location for lunch as well. The restaurant has a nice bar and a spacious interior. Service was good overall. The food however has its shortfalls. Appetizer Zucchini 2 ways - very good Entrees Chicken cutlet panini- not flat pressed and chicken was dry Pappardelle Bolognese- it was ok but some of the pasta was stuck together Veal Francese- lacked flavor Eggplant Parmigiana- very good Shrimp Parmigiana- average We didn't order dessert. We were not overwhelmed on our first visit. Go with an open mind and hope that you select the better items on their menu.

Veal parmigiana

Excellent vibe, excellent food, friendly staff, and relaxed experience. Highly recommend this place - it has old style Italian charm coupled with modern ambiance.

What a nice surprise ! This place is really big and has a nice outdoor area. The food was amazing and tasted as if it were home cooked. The garlic cheese bread was great , the pizza even better and the pasta was the cherry on top! The baked clams were good but not amazing , I would pass on them next time. I'm so glad I gave this restaurant a try !

Came here for a special occasion, and the staffs were very attentive and helpful. The veal with white wine sauce and mushrooms was delicious, and the baked clams were just right - not too much crumb and still kept the clams juicy. We had Frutti di mare with linguine; the shrimps squid mussels clams flavors were all in the linguine and so rich and delicious. The decor is very much Italian family restaurant vibe and very welcoming and warmth.

Feast is a lovely Italian restaurant that was truly the perfect touch to the Shoppes at Old Bridge. The service is excellent, and the all servers and staff I have encountered are very nice and well-trained. Food is excellent. We started our meal with some warm bread paired with classic olive oil and some cocktails. They always have a seasonal menu so be sure to watch out for those/ specials. Drinks are always tasty and delicious here. My favorite is the mushroom risotto. It was served perfectly hot and the mushroom flavor was so delicious and just right. Definitely a dish that I was impressed with. We also got the Jersey shore pizza where cheese is on the bottom & sauce is on the top. They have good pies but personally, I would try a different one next time. I usually end the night with an espresso martini and maybe dessert. We got the Italian ice cream sundae where you choose 3 flavors of gelato and get delicious sundae toppings -- it was so good and I can't wait to try more flavors. The pistachio flavor was one of my favorites for sure!!

Eggplant parm- good

We had a great dinner here! The food portions are huge! The bread came out hot and delicious. The seasoned olive dipping oil complemented the bread perfectly. While waiting for the food, the manager went around to each table and spent a few minutes to chat with the customers. The ambience feels comfortable but also trendy enough for a celebratory dinner. Everyone was celebrating something when we were there. On one side of the restaurant, there was a retirement party that took up an entire half of the restaurant. Luckily, the restaurant is huge! There were plenty of tables on the other side where every table was celebrating something (graduations, etc) The eggplant parmigiana was really good! Full of tangy sauce and bites of stretchy mozzarella, I thoroughly enjoyed my food! As others mentioned, it doesn't come with pasta. I didn't want pasta so this worked out perfect for me. Plus the portion was huge. We also ordered cheesy garlic bread which came out flavorful. The bolognese with pappardelle pasta looked so good! The pasta is really wide, almost like thin but long lasagna noodles! It looked freshly made. The tiramisu was deliciously moist but note that it had a strong alcohol flavor. I've seen this place when they first opened but for some reason, never ate here. I'm glad we gave it a try after all these years.

My husband and I sat for 20 minutes and no one came to the table. We left without anyone coming to the table to even get a drink order.

Every single time, it did not disappoint. What I love about this place is that it has the decor and vibe of a trendy Manhattan spot, but the manager and even the girls at the front are super sweet and welcoming. It has an upscale vibe, but still feels warm and approachable. The food is fantastic, the service is wonderful, the drinks are great, and the decor is beautiful. I haven't experienced the live music yet, but a couple of times I went on the weekends it had a fun party vibe with great music. If you're going on a date and want it a little quieter, I'd suggest going earlier in the evening. I also think there are certain days with live music and others that are more low-key. Overall, this is a great addition to the area. I will definitely be back. It's perfect for family outings, date night, girls' night, or even being bold and going solo.

An expensive lesson in overhyped venues...Let me start positive. The service and attention was the…read morebest you could ask for. That being said, the $35 Chicken Parm is so fantastic you have to pay extra for the pasta. I was afraid to ask what the $235 Tomahawk Steak didn't come with. The meal is presented fabulously in 2D. The small portions are spread sparingly across the nice big long plates with a colorful manage of sauces framing your meal, giving the illusion that the serving is generous and worthy of celebration. The event ends long before your palette is quenched and you find yourself calculating that the experience may not be worth the cost. A notion confirmed upon receiving the check. The pretentious "social club" in title leads those blindly paying almost $20 for a cocktail in the expectation that not only their thirst will be satiated but their hearts as well. For if one is willing and has the means to afford such gifts for themselves, surely they can be persuaded to share their wealth. The attempt to combine a non traditional Italian restaurant with a privileged to enter social club becomes the pinnacle of indigestion as the shared sound system between the two venues is raised to a volume around sunset making it difficult to finish a discussion that started two minutes ago and impossible to start any new meaningful interlude. All this experience overload (and expense overload) comes with a real sense of regret when you realize upon leaving, that which seemed curious to you when you entered....I'm in a strip mall off Route 9 in central Jersey. Do yourself a favor, save your money and goto any number of the cool good time venues located in or around Old Bridge, NJ where the beers are still $5, the drinks are $10 and the cool vibes are free of regrets.

Very cool that Venue 618 was the only NJ restaurant to make the recent Yelp Top 100 restaurants in the US. Sitting at the bar, we were served by Zoey, Steve, and Mike. They've re-done their cocktail menu to include beautiful color illustrations. I enjoyed "One in a Melon," a well-balanced whiskey cocktail with Frank August small batch bourbon, melon, poblano pepper, Aperol, and lime. This was followed by a tasty whiskey sour. My wife ordered a Lemon Drop martini, followed by a decadent chocolate-pistachio dessert martini. All of the cocktails were well-balanced and delicious. On the food side, I munched on a baked macaroni & cheese with chorizo. It was perfect! The Death of Hospitality brand thrives on personalization and unexpected surprises. Mixologist Steve, realizing that I'm a whiskey afficionado, surprised me with a small pour of Rock Hill Farms Single Barrel bourbon. This is a difficult bottle to find in New Jersey. Rock Hill Farms was incredible, with a super long finish. Thanks for the memories 618!

The food was amazing. The filet mignon, halibut, and chicken Milanese all drew rave reviews from my guests. What made the night even more enjoyable was the outstanding service by June, Ro and Beverly. I got more compliments on the service than on the food. These ladies never stopped moving and made each guest feel like they were the only ones in the room at times. From the first minute guests entered until they were thanked by the ladies on their way out the door, these three ladies showed why they are an asset to your restaurant. If every party at 618 goes like this one, I will be hosting more celebrations there. Everything was 5 stars!

The parking was actually full when we arrived, possibly because of the bar using the same lot. But there is an elevated connected lot for the bowling alley that has plenty of parking. I have to say that the best thing about this place is the service: everyone was very friendly, and quick to attend us. Food was great, except maybe the flake fish (first course). Seemed more Spanish to me than Portuguese though. Portions were huge... actually had leftovers from a dish, which is the first for me from a tasting menu. The prices were reasonable In terms of why I'm giving this 4 star instead of 5: -we were seated at the "Chefs counter", but did not really have a view of the prep, which was really far away. Basically could just see the fireplace. The sister restaurant Heirloom is a much better chef's counter setup where you are seeing everything -Dishes seemed to be regular menu type dishes (just smaller portions), as opposed to super interesting types that you would expect from a tasting menu -Beverage pairing was okay... didn't really love the wines For these reasons, I'd likely return, but just stick to the regular menu/ experience.

The busboy came around a few times to make sure we had everything we needed and Ray was on top of the clean silverware. We all started off with the house salad that comes with the main meal and warm bread. The salad was very fresh and cold. I ordered Shrimp Fra Diavolo over Linguine. My husband and another guest had Linguini with White Clam Sauce and other guests had Chicken and Veal Parmigiana. At the end of the meal, some of us had coffee, cappuccino and 2 desserts of Tartufo. The homemade cream served with the Tartufo was creamy and delicious. Being that we all came upon a recommendation of one of our friends, they came and gave us biscotti with their homemade cannoli filling.
