Came here for a family reunion sadly was disappointed. Pasta was not well cooked and definitely not worth the wait. We waited about an hour to get the food and we had a small group. Customer service was ok, and waiters/waitresses were kind but it seems they were understaffed in the kitchen. All are good except Sunday dinner. Service is excellent. Server and Manager were so good cause I really didn't eat my Sunday dinner - didn't really like it so I just shared my son's chicken francese so they took it off our bill. My mother will have that my father-in-law had the steak special which was phenomenal. My husband had the steak with the pizza sauce. I'm not really sure what it's called and I had a shrimp scampi. Next our table was ready, it was next to the restroom entrance. NEXT, THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. Had the WARM MUTZ which tasted like what I assume a dirty Sox would taste like. I ordered Pasta, my pasta was a very thin spaghetti, it was a pile of starchy mush and the sauce was VERY watery with no taste at all except the classic "I cant cook garlic cover up smell and taste". My wife had the chicken parmesan which was overcooked and again watery sauce...the cheese tasted fake too, bit it was real. It also had no taste at all. NONE. This place is a big ZERO in my book. It was like a threw away $97 bucks in the toilet. I will likely NOT go back unless invited by the owners, and even then maybe not and it's still a no. 5 stars is not enough to describe the service, the attention to detail and above all the delectable delicacy that is Feast. My sister and I went on a whim, the moment we heard outdoor dining became available. Let me start off by saying what gravitates my family to Feast is their very well made cocktails and insanely fresh food. The reason we CONTINUE to come is because of the people who make these incredible concoctions. Let me share what happened recently. My sister and I went to Feast for drinks on a nice summer day. Out of nowhere my dress came undone and broke. The waitress, immediately ran inside and what came out......was an assembly line of staff with any contraption to fasten it. We had received a gift card in 2019 before covid 19 shut everything down, we finally were able to us it in July 2021 for our anniversary. Went for dinner and we were quite pleased. Ordered a German Riesling and a Boulevadier (Bourbon Manhattan) excellent by the way, followed by Shrimp & calamari appetizer, also terrific. Main course of Shrimp FraDiavlo for wife (too spicy for her) and I had Shrimp Scampi. I enjoyed what I had of the Scampi and the Diavlo shrimp was also enjoyable, however, I agree it was way too spicy! Portions were quite large 6 shrimp at least in each meal. Met the owners and manager that day and they were exceptionally friendly, we discussed wines of the world and we promised that we would return. Service was excellent and food was really good, stay away from the Diavlo unless you really like HOT spicy anything! read more

Have been here several times during the Covid period. The food is decent and the place has a lively vibe. But I have to call out the bartenders who seem to think a facemask is a chin strap. The hostesses all wear facemasks. The floor staff all wear a mask. The awkward floor manager who comes by to say hello wears his mask. But the bartenders, their masks just hang around below their chins. Why do they even bother with the chin strap? Do they know or care that it makes some customers uncomfortable? Will they be the first to complain when restaurants are shut down again because of behavior like theirs? read more

We were 11 people on July 10th for a birthday celebration and all went very well. Jess was a terrific server with lots of smiles and patience for my noisy and hungry crowd. We ordered a variety of drinks, salads, appetizers and dinners and she got everything right. Went to the Thanksgiving Eve party - paid for VIP, $75 for free alcohol 7-10p and endless apps for dinner. The food was good: personal pizzas, fried ravioli, meatballs, and a huge antipasto spread (meats, cheeses, hummus, eggplant, etc.) A huge dessert bar but I don't do sweets. My wife and went here for dinner on Friday night with out a reservation and the wait time was a half hour. Not bad for a new place that just opened so we got a seat at the bar and had a drink. The atmosphere is very nice inside and the drinks were good. Got seated and ordered our food and was told that my stuffed pork chop would be 20 minutes to cook and my wife ordered a chicken dish Both dishes came out and the plates were packed. I live in old bridge and i thought i gave this place a try. We ordered wings and calamari for appetizer. The wings were char and crispy on one side and soggy on the other side. Not to mention they were HUGE and that is not neccesary a good thing. They looked like they were working out and taking steroids. #disgusting. The calamari was rubbery and chewy nothing special about it. Then we ordered the margharita pizza and burrata. The cheese had no flavor to it. The crust was soggy. Again nothing special. To top things off, we sat on a booth with a view straight to the kitchen and NOONE HAD A HAT OR CAP ON OR A HAIR NET. There we women cooks with long hair. Total disappointment. After hearing that one of my favorite restaurants (Osteria) opened this new restaurant I had high hopes. Feast fell flat.... We were a larger party on a Saturday night. Our waiter was arrogant and clearly did not have people skills. Ordered a round of drinks and 2 pitchers of sangria. The waiter and bartender delivered the drink order and didn't even pour the sangria. The atmosphere is really nice, it's very clean and tables and chairs were roomy. Appetizers: meatball was great, and comes on a light salad that has amazing dressing. Fried calamari was soggy and the sauce was super spicy. We asked the waiter about the sauce and his response, "sorry that was a mistake, the sauces are right next to eachother". Never brought over the correct sauce. Caesar Salad was so so, nothing special. I ordered the Bolognese, pasta tasted very fresh and was a hefty meal. Others ordered chicken parm, was very thick. I love the zucchini two ways appetizer, chicken Milanese and the meatball with salad. The desserts are ridiculous as well. My favorites are the Pistachio Ice Cream Cake and the fried rainbow cookie. OMG! This place is INSANEEEEE! Of course everything is top notch because the Owners, Also one another Favorite place of Mine Osteria in Marlboro. From the appetizers to the Entrees to the Dessert...Everything that Came out of the Kitchen was Phenomenal. The manager also came to check on us eighth after entrees were brought to the table. Our Waitress Connie was very Knowledgeable about the whole menu and was top notch ffrom the very beginning. The bussing Staff also were the ball from the very beginning, bringing out Water and Bread. Concetta aka "Connie" is my Favorite Waitress...She deserves a whole review on here....and a Raise! Made the experience even more special. FEAST??? Far from it!I was waiting to try this place for a while...had to order to go but glad I did.. I placed an order for JR chicken entree.. so instead of vegetable and potatoes I asked if I can substitute rigatoni with the same mushroom sauce they said sure didn't mention anything about an addition.. when I get there they charged me $5 more for about 20 pieces of rigatoni and didn't even include my vegetable or potato so it wasn't a substitute so when I question that she gave me an attitude and almost look like she wanted to take the macaroni out of the dish she told me she would take the $5 off with an attitude with by the way she needed a piece of gum...I gave her cash and I was waiting for my change and she gave me a look like I wasn't supposed to ask her for my change back.... Feast was a solid college try, which has good bones but lacks. The good: The pizza, ribs and wings were incredible, which made the trip worth it. The rest: Not so much. The hostesses were snooty, giggly and unaccommodating when we asked to change our table. The ambience is split into two rooms, with most of the thought and pizazz spent on the bar side. This left the dining side deficient and dry: a different experience from the bar side comfort zone. Appetizers were great and the main dishes (Italian classics throughout) were acceptable. The service was choppy, including from the bar, and the bar even made some basic drinks poorly. The service experience as a whole was creepy (with the exception being that the table was regularly bussed and water filled with a smile). I won't rush back to dine in but will definitely take out. read more

We informed the Server just to let them know of the issues that we had and we Are very understanding and easy going especially with new restaurants knowing that they have to go through these changes so we just wanted to leave our feedback so they may improve on the issues that we believe they are having. So we told the server his response was sorry kitchen is backed up and we are new so it's gonna take time for us to perfect everything. Just a word of advice you don't tell a paying customer that it's going to take you time to perfect and item at our expense. If you want to practice making dishes do it with your money and your time. No manager came over our server never came back and our bill was never adjusted even so that was not what we were looking for. We will come back and try the restaurant in the future but for now customer service their needs a lot of work. Second time here service definitely stepped it up food has been consistent how's the station still needs work but that will come with time. I love this place! The decor is so warm and welcoming! The drinks (cosmo) on point! We needed a place like this in NJ. The good is like my Mama Made it!!! I was there twice last week for my birthday celebrations with different friends. I was not at all disappointed. Calamari melt in your mouth, wings( OMG) Pizza so yummy!! Service was sub par, the waiter was waving down another worker with their arms like a windmill while taking our order. The portions were disappointing. Ordered a $12 burrata and asked prior to ordering what it came with and the server stated bread/toast, when the appetizer arrived it was a literal ball of cheese on a plate. I love cheese and all but it's not very appetizing to just get plain burrata on a plate with nothing to eat along with it. The shrimp I ordered was actually delicious, sauce was light and vegetables were cooked perfectly. But the meal consisted of 6 shrimp on a plate and a side of vegetables on a separate plate. My husbands plate was also cooked appropriately and had a great over all flavor. Food was good but they could work on a few things. I originally was going to give 3 stars but I respect small business and will give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt that they can do better. read more
