I've never had an unfiltered sake like that. The beers were also good, and I loved the oolong island with its aromas of peach and tea. The sparkling sakes were good as well, but I preferred the regular signature ones. We also got a cup of the sake kasu ice cream, which was really interesting! It has a rich, yeasty, almost cheesy flavor (which sounds weird, but I really enjoyed it). Overall, it's a great spot. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. He gave great suggestions to our friends and they will definitely be back. The food was delicious everything just popped with flavor and cooked just right. Brian even made us a fresh pot of coffee. The only thing that bothered us was the smell. As soon as you walk in from the street it smelled like an odd bad odor we couldn't pin point it. When we entered the dining area it wasn't as bad but we can still smell a faint odd smell, Not sure if they are having sewage issues but it is noticeable when you stand up. Not so much when you're sitting down.
