This is my go to FedEx/Kinkos location in the area for those times I need to quickly print something out or make some copies. While usually I don't need to interact with anyone to make these types of purchases, [[HIGHLIGHT]]when I have needed assistance, everyone working here has been very friendly and able to troubleshoot everything quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also appreciate that this location has ample parking. Great experience at the FedEx on Tampa & Nordhoff in Northridge [[HIGHLIGHT]]I stopped by this FedEx Office location earlier this evening to print a large set of documents, and I wanted to leave a review because the staff really went out of their way to help me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What I thought was going to be a little over 100 pages turned into a much bigger job because some of my files had multiple pages inside them, so it took me a while to get everything sorted out on the self-service machines. While I was there, several employees helped me at different times, and every one of them was polite, professional, and very patient. I go to my local FedEx Office a handful of times a year. Maybe printer access, delivery question or pickup--even lamination. It's actually always 5 star service. Today was 5 star service with an urgency to post a review. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I walked in, and there was a few people ahead of me, but once I was greeted by Jarrett, it was all uphill from there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked him if he could help me laminate something, and he said he could do even better and show me how to do it myself, to which I said "that's great because I really don't like bothering anyone", to which he responded that it actually wasn't a bother, but they were just looking to help people become more "self-sufficient".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really appreciated how he worded that, and I told him so. And then he made a joke about his mom saying how he had a clever way with words. It was funny. He went ahead and showed me how to laminate my own items, and he did it very thoughtfully and effectively. The process stuck. And then he showed me how to cut the lamination with the paper cutter. And that was very helpful as well because when I was done cutting my lamination, I ended up with a lamination with very pointy corners. As I was waiting in line to ask him how to round out my pointy corners, it occurred to me how I could do it with myself with the paper cutter that he had already showed me how to use. I went ahead and completed the job myself. Self-sufficiency--thanks to Jarrett. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The way he empowered me, and the way he spoke to me, the way he walked me through it all with pride and respect urged me to leave a five star review for FedEx office on Tampa Avenue in Northridge-- and urge the company to give Jarrett a raise and maybe look for him a position within the company with a little more responsibility but with a lot more pay.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think nobody would be upset about that, and everyone would win. I purchased something online, wasn't going to be home the weekend of its arrival, so I rerouted my package to this FedEx Office Print and Ship Center. I was thrilled to find my package still there after 4 days of its arrival. Location wasn't too busy, as there was one other person ahead of me needing shipping help. Service was direct and straightforward. Was greeted with a, "Hi, how can I help you?" and then she proceeded to scurry away to help the first person in line. Located in The Grove Northridge Strip mall (Mitsuwa Marketplace, Dollar Tree, 85 degrees bakery located in this mall too), so large free parking available, even with Tesla chargers in the same lot. I had to ship a very oddly shaped item and had no idea how to pack it properly. Feeling overwhelmed, I brought the item to the FedEx store, where I was helped by Moises. He quickly found a long, wardrobe style box that was perfect for the job, and he took care of everything for me. I have been here 3 times. The second time I wasn't aware that they open at 12nn on Sundays. The website that I checked the opening hours didn't show the correct hours. The first time I came here, I needed to drop off a return. I was impressed with how the service is. They took the stuff, gave me a receipt and I'm done. No sweat. Yesterday morning when I stopped by, it was kind of busy. Me and other customers wait for like 5 minutes before we were tended to. The employee who helped me is nice and helpful. She gave me options for the package delivery. Of course, I chose the most affordable one as long as my package will arrive within the time frame that I wanted. The store is big, they have a self service kiosk, and products that is essential for shipping and packing. Entrance is accessible. No steps or stairs. Plenty of parking that is shared with other businesses as well. read more

I visited this FedEx location today between 4:45 and 5pm and had a very disappointing experience. I stood in the store which was completely empty of other customers while a shorter female associate and a taller male associate both looked directly at me and completely ignored me. Neither offered a greeting, acknowledgment, or any kind of help. The male associate seemed to be looking for a package, but even after a few minutes, he only muttered a "hi" without asking what I needed or directing me to someone who could assist me. Meanwhile, the female associate didn't acknowledge me at all. To make it worse another customer entered and stood right next to me, she immediately asked him what he needed completely skipping over me as if I wasn't even there. It was shocking and disrespectful. Thankfully, Jarrett who had been vacuuming and genuinely wasn't aware of my presence, responded right away when I said "excuse me." He greeted me kindly then listened to my frustration and apologized for the other associates lack of professionalism. I didn't jump to write a review but later found myself still bothered by the interaction because what was that? As a business owner I appreciate Jarrett's customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the first two associates. There's definitely room for training. I'll most likely will never visit that store again. read more

Finding parking at 6pm here was fine since a lot of people don't park where FedEx is at. We were able to get a spot in the front and just walked inside the store. Jarred is AMAZING!!!! The only reason to go there. The assistant manager, (fair skin, black hair straight ) is quite Rude, discovered her talking about another customer with a service dog to Another customer.Completely inappropriate and unprofessional , simply because she herself was afraid of dogs. Never you mind , that the dog was a SERVICE dog, she still had the audacity to speak ill in the form of gossip. She should be fired or at least reprimanded. Cheap for business cards but you get what you pay for. I showed up to get my order, which was two sets of business cards; one a white background with text and a logo and the other a black background with almost a carbon fiber look then a logo. Surprise, almost all of them were "cut" wrong, with the logo on the edge. I asked what happened? It didn't match the proof I signed-off on. Apparently the work "eyeballs" the cards after they print then hopefully it lines up as he manually chops them. With my teen waiting in the car, I needed these for a business trip and the guy was nice enough to say he would redo them and it would be "a couple minutes." It was over 20 and I'll be (bleeped) if they weren't cut wrong again!!! He showed me a couple that were correct and I was in a hurry so I snagged them and got running... to find out that underneath, same issue. Also, the colors were way off, super contrasty. I printed them in CMYK which is supposed to assure that colors are accurate for printing but the "carbon fiber" look was entirely black. So here's the kick between the legs... it was almost impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone through the corporate number. I finally got through and the guy on the phone was super nice but said he couldn't refund me anything but I could come in to get them reprinted for the third time but I said forget it, I can't drive 25 minutes there and back (50 minutes) then hope they're right... when I had to pack and catch a flight. I just took whatever cards (maybe 10%?) that were good enough and called it a day. I thought the idea of getting cards printed on the same day was amazing to me... but it doesn't matter if they're printed wrong with crushed colors. (Yes, I know, I should haven't waited until the day before the trip to print these but I only came here because they had same day printing, vs. my usual place.) With all of that said, the workers were definitely super nice though. read more

Quality for customer service was lacking. Tried printing something from what I sold on Mercari. Sent it via email. Couldn't get through to the server. The First Gentleman was nice but since it was taking too long he had to help some other people. A girl was helping another person and there were a couple of other guys who tried to help. I sent the email multiple times from their WiFi and 5G but couldn't go through. I was suggested to use their computer but it would cost money.
