FedEx is a completely awful courier. There's no where I could find to sign for the package or hold it or anything. I have no clue where it is because FedEx system is still so obsolete that it updates late. And before you know it, your package is being sent back to the sender. How f*cked is that. It circles around your house but you can't get it. And they tell you it's in the system and cannot be altered for you to get. This is the third time they are coming back because they come back every time you're at work like a normal person. I signed the door tag saying I need it left there because I still have to continue working a normal job unlike most of the country current time. They came back the next day and just put another door tag over that door tag. The Oak Park FED EX is the worst place to have your package go through. I have had several packages go missing from Oak Park FED EX. I receive emails saying "Your package has been delivered". And no package at the door. File a missing claim and get a message back from them saying they cannot locate the package. And that's it! This time it was a $2000.00 E Bike in a box weighing 100 lbs. How conveniently there driver says he delivered it, but of course, no E Bike and FED EX cannot locate the package. I am taking them to Small Claims court this time. I've had enough. read more

I don't know who was my delivery driver but they threw my package over the gate on my front lawn. They didn't bring it on my porch like all the other drivers do. Plus, the box clearly said it was a live plant and this side needed to be up. They completely ignored it. My plant was ruined. Like many, I receive frequent deliveries because it's convenient. But fed ex is not convenient- service is not equivalent to usps, ups, and Amazon. They try one attempt to deliver- if I'm not home instead of trying again they send it directly to the fed ex store. I then have to drive there to wait in line and pick it up. If I wanted to go through that much trouble, I should've just went directly to the store. It would saved me the shipping fee. Terrible delivery service! read more

I ordered two pair of expensive shoes, they were delivered to somebody in my home district not my home address the person signed for my shoes and open my packages She went online with my personal address and full name, telling people on social media, that she has those specific items. I have been really pleased with my experiences at this FedEx. I went recently to have some documents printed because I had poor quality elsewhere. The sales clerk was patient and took her time to help me with my printing. The quality was much better than what I had at another stop. I went in again this week to mail out some packages. It was quick, and again, the sales associate was patient and helpful. I am sure this holiday season is busy and overwhelming, but all I saw from the entire staff was kindness. It doesn't matter if you have something sent elsewhere or try to get things sent to yourself. In my experience, anything routed through this location means it goes into a black hole. A few examples: packages arrive several days, weeks, even over a month later if you get them at all. Status says "out for delivery" but may not have even been unloaded from a freight truck. Bottom line is that FedEx Ground used to be very reliable but just isn't anymore. The service is garbage now. My advice is to never use it for anything. Either drive far from this warehouse and send stuff FedEx Express 2 day or use UPS instead. UPS Ground is still very reliable. Note that FedEx Express service operates like a separate company from the garbage Ground service. One tip: if you get something shipped FedEx Ground because you couldn't select another method, try going to the FedEx site and re-routing the package for pick up at a FedEx Office location. That seems to help in my experience but won't guarantee anything. read more

My shipment was medical supplies that were supposed to be shipped one day shipping from Lake Orion Michigan to the Landing area. Now it's going to take a minimum four additional days unless it doesn't arrive at all which happens often with fedex) for needed medical supplies required to keep someone alive. FedEx has to be the WORST company I have ever dealt with! I was supposed to receive my package on Friday, May 15th. Still have not received it even though I have been repeatedly assured by your customer service that they will make sure i receive my package every day since then. No one has been able to assist me or deliver my package and their final say was that the delay is from the Oak Park FedEx location without giving me any reason what so ever! How do you screw up an site to store order? Not reading the box unfortunately. I visited FedEx with my shipping confirmation in hand. I provide my name, the associate gave me the box, I signed and left. To my disappointed my fitness waist wrap was actually a Minnie Mouse pop up hamper. I don't even have a daughter. Absolutely horrible is all I can say about this location. OVER 6 WEEKS waiting for my order that was supposed to be delivered in 4 DAYS. This is the THIRD TIME I've had an issue with this location. I call to ask if I can pick it up they refuse, I ask for an estimated delivery date they say they dont know, I asked if they can push it to get shipped faster and they basically say they don't know where my order is. I don't think this is the actual shipping warehouse, but the Oak Park FedEx warehouse is the most disorganized place in the world. Every time I have a package going thru Oak Park, the delivery date disappears and I end up waiting forever. There's no way to get ahold of the location or a manager to speak with. First time sending my order to the office thinking it would be quick, instead it was worst experience ever. They said that they attempted delivery and we had no notice that they were even here. First they said that they always leave door tags and then they said they don't, which is it. Knowing that our office closed at 4 p.m. they attempted 2 more times after 4 p.m. of course knowing we were closed. How do we know they even came.
