Went there to return a Lands' End purchase. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful. Since I'd never had to go through the process he explained everything to me. At the end of the transaction I felt very comfortable and pleased. That was a couple weeks ago. Today, I have another return to Lands' End. Totally rude men who don't know how to be a gentleman work here . Instead of offering to help a woman with large packages, he tells her to roll them along herself and doesn't even offer to assist. Then doesn't listen or try to help when there was a problem with the shopping label. He just shoves it off as my problem come back. Then when I decided not to return them, they refuse to give them back to me and make a big deal about helping me get them to the car. Takes 30 minutes to print because their super easy and efficient systems simply use your email. The girl even said "the email will take a while." So I stood there waiting for the code for 30 minutes. I finally got it. Then the other thing I needed printed didn't work.. which was the label I needed to send the stuff I printed? I tried it several times. Today I had the misfortune of visiting the FedEx PB3 store located at 8325 W Bell Rd, Peoria, AZ 85382 to return a package to Amazon. Immediately, the poor customer service started. I had printed a label that Amazon provided with the return details but had apparently forgotten to print the "magic bar code" that the lazy people at this location need to do their job. Instead of coming up with creating solutions, like keying the bar code manually for me, looking up the details in their computer, or scanning the page from my phone.. the inept "customer service" person had me email a copy to her at the store. After the email failed to show up after sending it twice to the confirmed email address, she then wanted me to print the page from one of their computers FOR A FEE !!!. What's happened to customer service.. is this the way that you treat customers generally? Am I to believe that in the year 2022 there is no technical solution to this problem?? Are FedEx stockholders aware that if the transaction isn't perfect for their workers that they are turning customers away? Do they mention that during their investor day meetings? As I was leaving I mentioned that I would be leaving a bad review for the location, to which our stellar customer service representative quickly and snidely replied "ok" as I left, as if to show me that she had won the battle and I should know better next time. As a side note, the manager was standing right there and heard the entire conversation, yet did nothing. Well done FedEx... I was helped at length by Johnny who explained the different options for printing copies of a special book of memories for a deceased family member. He showed us what they could do at the store for binding as well as what else might be available at other FedEx stores as well. He was very patient as we had some trouble downloading the file Through Google Drive on my end. The end result was a beautiful reproduction of color photos and text Spiral bound with heavy smooth paper- all at a reasonable price. Has never delivered anything on time ever. Website is horrible at giving updates and customer service is useless. I would rather drive across the country and pick up the package myself than deal with the utter nightmare that is fedex. Even sending packages are impossible, these location REFUSED to ship my pre paid package, using an excuse about computer equipment, but we're unable to provide anything in writing saying it's against company policy to ship computers EVEN THO FEDEX IS THE ONE WHO SHIPPED ME THE PACKAGE AND I WAS JUST DOING A RETURN!!!! First of all, I have an issue with FedEx overall. I believe they hire incompetent people to do jobs that require precision, people skills, and an understanding of the process. Today that example was slapped right across my face when I walked into this FedEx location at 8325 W Bell Rd. I called a few hours before I went to the location. On the call I talked to a woman who stated cheerfully that my package is still there, and guess what? I actually until NEXT Thursday to pick it up. I said, "That's ok? I'm coming to get it today". Getting off the phone I feel great about the situation. My package is there, I just need to go pick it up. How simple and easy. About two hours later I arrive at this location to pick up the package at approximately 2:13pm AZ standard time. I'm no rookie to this process. I walk to the counter and start transaction with the woman. She is a heavy set while woman with short curly hair. I would say mid-40s, maybe in her 50s. I tell this person that I have a package ready for pickup. Even though the packages are arranged by name she asks for the tracking number multiple times. So she goes back to an EMPTY, SERIOUSLY EMPTY shelf, looks at it for TWO seconds and says, "It's not here, are you sure it was supposed to come here?". Now at this point I would like you as the reader to rewind to the fact that I called about 2 hours before and spoke some one who sounded female telling me that the package is there and ready for pickup, YEE-HA! Then I told the lady employee that, "I got it a notification about five days ago". Her knee-jerk response, "Oh yeah, we sent it back". So as soon as she tells me that I'm thinking, "f-word, that's just great. I should of just made it a priority to get there sooner". As soon as my thought completes I hear the voice of an angel, "What's the last name?" I turn to look at the sound of hope and prosperity and I see my knight in shinning armor displaying in a soothing yellow aura of something divine. He's a young elderly man, you know like he just started to look elderly yesterday. He was thin and tall but not too tall. As soon as he spoke I saw Ms. Lazy skittle away, as to say, "I didn't care in the first place, now I won't have to go above the bare minimum. I look back at my strapping night and I say, "*Last Name". He looks back at me and says, "Its right there". Then he says, "It hasn't been sent yet". I look back at the worlds laziest employee and says, "He'll check your package out AT THAT COUNTER OVER THERE". My knight processes the transaction, and. I. leave.... This one woman that worked at this location completely verified everything I hate about FedEx, which unfortunately is a lot. I mean I am actually shook by this woman's work ethic. She didn't seem new, she acted like her words were final. Think about this situation though, it's honestly a disgrace to FedEx, The Beautiful State of Arizona, The United States, and humanity. That may be harsh but the truth usually is. This woman's actions are a EXACT reflection of how she goes through life. She was fine, taking 30 seconds to tell me bad news and letting me walk out of the store. Having to have me wait for 2-3 weeks for it to get sorted and delivered back to me. There was not even the slightest possibility to her that it wasn't shipped back. I mean why didn't she know the process for returning packages that weren't picked up? SHE WORKS THERE! Does she think that they are magically returned as soon as the countdown hits 00.00 and poof!? Like I was coming into the store for some outrageous request, picking up a package a from a shipping company. I've never had a McD's employee put-off for ordering food. Again, it's a shame that there are people like this out their, and it's also a shame that FedEx can't be bothered to do an appropriate employee screening. I have zero respect for this individual, again this is a reflection of their attitude toward EVERYTHING. Refuses exert any physical, mental, emotion, etc... that exceeds the absolute bare minimum. If I did what this woman did to me, I would apologize for my lack of respect and laziness. I would then evaluate who I am, and try to understand why I don't care enough to do a good job. I'll end on the high note. My night in shining armor, that rode in and destroyed the presence of laziness and lack of respect. Not only did this man calmly solve the issue immediately. He saved that location from losing a customer for life. This location and the woman who helped me received 1 Star, even though this comment is overused, 1 Star is too generous for the service I received. I started going to this place because 2x each month I need to fax paperwork for my job. Other places, such as Staples, close early on Sundays and have left me in a jam. However, this FedEx is open until 9pm, sometimes later. The fax is self serve, and I have never had a problem. However, last night I went in to fax my paperwork and decided I also needed to buy a few things. I picked up my items and waited at the register. There were no employees in site. I wondered if I was the only person in the store. I left my items on the counter and left. I will go back because the late hours and self serve fax, but will buy my office supplies where the customer service is better. read more

She walked me through every step as it was difficult to make scans of giant vellum paper. Then I guess we can. He could have said, yes we do sir, absolutely! Can I help you get started? NOPE. WHAT A JERK. I work for a company that does a lot of print designs for multiple properties, and now I know that I need to go to another source. Customer service is key, and it starts at your first interaction with the customer. You have lost it and I will do everything I can to tell others not to got to your store. I needed to fax some fragile documents 2 days before Christmas. That meant finding a full-serve copy center where I could copy the docs and fax them. This place was within 2 miles of my location - which only took half an hour to get to, because it's across the street from Arrowhead. Did I mention it's 2 days before Christmas?? Luckily, Debbie was just coming on shift and offered to help me copy and fax. Yes, I can run a copier and a fax machine just fine - but since this was an impromptu errand I was caught without my reading glasses and it was nice to not have to look like an idiot trying to read the instructions on how the payment card thingy works! Plus, Debbie was very friendly and super helpful! She had also just endured the misery of Bell Road at Christmas time, so we could commiserate with one another! I have used this location in the past and had similar experience where barely any acknowledgement was made and very few words spoken as if it was an inconvenience that I had dared to walk in their store. Now I don't know if they also handle deliveries in my area but I was expecting a delivery on 3-10-18 and in tracking the package, it came up that it had been delivered at 1:25 that day and signed by me but the problem with that statement is that I was not even home at that time. I arrived home around 2:30 and no package and no slip that said it could be picked up somewhere later or delivery attempt would be made at a later date like they usually do. Now I am out the $100 paid for the item and out the item itself. FedEx just lost a customer. I will not order or ship from them again. read more

So I go in there today, there are two employees behind the desk and two managers I think. I know an assistant manager Debbie was there I saw her name tag. So I walk in nobody is in line but me, and none of the employees or managers greet me. So he waves his hand for me to take my package to him, says nothing, puts the label on my package, needs help (which is fine I would rather it be correct) then hands me my receipt and says "here". So the ONLY vocal interaction the ENTIRE 10 minutes I was there was "here". Literally that was it. So I'm a little burnt since even the manager was there and I was never acknowledged. They were busy but when I finally got someone, they wouldn't print the sketch I had paid to get drawn of my family because they said I couldn't prove I had copyright permission. I was asking for one print and showed them I received the picture digitally from them and had to print it myself but they didn't care. If I could give less than 1 Star I would. I've given this location three tries, and every time their staff have made comments to make me feel incompetent or unintelligent when using their facility. Although I struggle with some of their devices, I try to remember the steps or how they got to a certain screen to make copies. Yes, to make copies. I acknowledge that I do not work with their devices frequently enough to warrant fluidity, and I also recognize that they may be a bit busy at the three times I've come here. But I'm so discouraged when walking in that I will most likely drive to Scottsdale just to make copies. The staff here have made comments in jest like "what did you break" and "it's not that hard" yet their directions to use their products are lacking, the lack of a 3 click rule on their software systems are daunting, and flagging down a staff member for assistance is not only embarrassing, its also become apparent it's inconvenient for them and like pulling teeth. read more

They installed a new Fedex counter- great, but there are NO supplies such as packing slips- ergo long lines and wait times. It's Christmas and they only have one person staffed for the entire store.
