i've been to a lot of fedex locations but this one was one that was different compared to others. i usually do large print out photos on cardstock paper during graduation time. i sent an email of the photos edited to my liking, when i arrived for pickup, they were ready in 20minutes exactly to my liking. Parking is a gamble because theres a Starbux, and other retail restaurants nearby. But they do have 2-3 dedicated "FedEx Customer Only" spots, which help. I like the self-service options, with scanners available for your drop-off packages so you don't have to neccisarily interact with an employee and stand in line if you dont want to. read more

When the prints were done they asked if I needed them cut to size and of course I said yes. HOLY SH#T at what I was charged for trimming them....a total of $70 not including what I paid for the prints!!! WTF!!!!! I could have bought a new printer for that price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I almost walked out of there but the prints were for my Birthday event happening today so I couldn't just walk away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Do yourself a favor and SAY NO when they ask you if you want your prints cut. I've been coming here a handful of times and have used their self service printing and have also placed order online to color print my certificates professionally. Dropping of packages was always seamless, quick and easy. Love their full suite of FedEx services here and in my experience, the level of customer service that I have received have always been excellent. The staff have always been super helpful. It's also next to Starbucks and all the other big brand name stores which is fantastic. Plenty of parking and not too far from 880 highway. Cheers! read more

We got our passport pictures taken here and it was fast, efficient and the pictures taken were perfect.

This FedEx is a small store located off to the side of the Marina Square. It is not the most convenient location, as it is right by Starbucks and this is a pretty busy plaza in general, especially on weekends and weeknights. Parking is hit or miss, depending when you come. I came here several times to return some textbooks and it usually is a pretty easy and straightforward process. Apparently, I always choose the wrong times to stop by, as the times I do come here, it is usually 1 person working the counter with a pretty long line and it moves rather slowly, but at least I usually get close parking during the times I come though. read more

Disregard the negative reviews. To each their own, I guess. If it weren't for this establishment to be in the area, I don't know how my professional and leisure life would be without their help! Growing up as a kid in the 'Dro (that's San Leandro for ya'll), this used to be a Kinko's back in the day - and the community has been utilizing it real well - from teachers, school personnel, business professionals, families, parents, and even kids like me when I was old enough walk by myself to make a photo copy of someone's homework/project to copy of! Haha, just kidding! Years and decades have gone by, and this establishment is still at the same corner spot at the always poppin' Marina Square Center - under the FedEx label. Staff have come and go, but the place is still useful as it can get, with the added and modern benefits of the modern world. You can even scan a QR code & get documents off from your phone & get it sent digitally, and print hard copies! How easy can that be?! It's pretty much self-service, however at times I've asked for help from the staff, and haven't had any issues with that! Parking can be a pain, since it is right next to La Salsa & Starbucks, but don't let the busy area deter you from wanting to hit this place up for your document copying, printing, marketing, office services, packaging and shipping needs. USE UPS. I paid $57.00 for Priority Overnight, the envelope did not arrive for 5 days. Now seeking a refund and getting the corporate run around. Should have used UPS. After multiple phone calls with Fed Ex Customer Service Team I returned to the Fed Ex Office Store 5159 to seek my refund for $57.20. The Store Manager informed me that he does not have the capability to issue a refund to a customer despite customer service directing me there. Use UPS If you want to have a better all around experience and be treated fairly and professionally by a shipping company use UPS NOT Fed Ex. I am sure there is a UPS Store near you. read more

Terrible customer service! I came here to do a simple self paid address envelope. They told me I have to create an account myself with the computer. I opened an account and filled up the info needed to mail a visa application and tried to pay but their system is down. I wasted about half hour here trying to make it work and didn't get to mail it so ended up going somewhere else to do simple mailing at UPS/USPS. I was quoted a certain amount for shipping to an exact address, stoped away for approval from the buyer, received payment, went back to the counter 2 minutes later, and they quoted me a higher price. And just the way the counter workers handled the situation was extremely poor, and made the excuse that prices fluctuate... in a 2 minute period. Just ridiculous. My previous times coming in here I've had bad experiences up until tonight.. thanks to Tyanna I believe her name was. I came in, needed to ship out beats & a macbook back to apple for a refund. No problems at all with the products, just a miscommunication with my family and we purchased double.. Anyways, I was very nervous to come in because I hadn't packaged the items myself so I needed them to pack it for me. Since they could see what my items were I was scared, you know thieves and what not... but Tyanna made me feel very comfortable. She printed my labels & packed my items for me! I had my shipping labels in my email, i just needed to get them printed. *** FUN FACT: if you email the labels you need printed to "printandgo@fedex.com" they will reply with a unique code. Just give the code to the person working & they'll print whatever you need printed.*** That beats having to pay extra for computer time. So i did that, she printed my 2 labels. As my items had to be shipped separately. She was able to fit both items in the "free box" boxes. So that saved me a lot of money! All I had to pay for was the filling, a cheap $4.38. The labels Apple gave me had free 2 Day Air Shipping. She boxed the beats and macbook up nicely for me. She then asked if it was going to business or home. I said business & she said because of of the price of the items they would need a signature. I said that's perfect! She also let me know that my items would be shipped out tomorrow. (Because i cam in around 730pm) She gave me my receipts with both tracking numbers. Then said she would stick the labels on the boxes when she was done, i told her I could do it, but she insisted that it's her job. She'd handle it. I said thank you & walked out. This review is for the new management. Giving the stars to the new managers who helped me, and another star for the benefit of being under new management and staff are still TRYING to learn. Went here for my usual mailing w/ a return label. The young staff helping me is nice and patient, but the guy she asked a question insisted they don't do return labels. I insisted that I had done this many times before. He said I should buy it from the computer, and that they don't do that because of BAD REVIEWS. It didn't make sense but I kept my cool coz the line was so long behind me and don't want to take other people's time arguing. I went to the side and did it on my account on my cellphone but there was no option for that on the app. Tried calling CS. I'm almost to crying out of frustration when I saw another girl, Kimberlee, and asked her about it. She was knowledgeable and was able to help me, assisted by another manager, Chas. They modified the transaction, and apparently allowed them to create a return label. Problem solved. Although, I still do not understand why the guy mentioned getting a bad review just for creating a return label. I'm still mad about that coz lost 2hrs of that afternoon, when I used to be in Fedex just average 15mins on a busy day. Will still use Fedex for the shipping service, but will choose a staff to help me at this location. read more

The employee Joanne leaves much to be desired in customer service. I needed a quick large print utilizing their architecture printer and arrived slightly after opening. Unfortunately the print size I required can not be completed utilizing a print and go code (this is new, as the previous employee Jammie could quickly and efficiently print with the code for the last 2 years. It's that simple considering all the printers are connected to the main computers.....) Anyhow once Joanne finally acknowledged me (after ignoring the elderly lady who eventually left) she made it clear that I would need to place an order for this print and she was unavailable to send it to the printer. No one was in the store, Joanne was available and yet she refused to assist and informed me I can place an order and wait around 5 hours for pick up..... Since when? Thanks Joanne for being the epitome of awful costumer service and laziness dressed in a fed ex shirt. read more

I used to really enjoy coming to this location, and have for years. But that has changed. The only advice I can give to anyone is if you have to return merchandise to say Walmart or Amazon....and you have a prepaid label with original packaging, DO NOT bring it to this location. They will tell you various reasons why they have to re-package the item. This is a tactic to just upsell you on packaging, when it's not needed. Instead, take it to the FedEx location on Pardee in Oakland. No issues there at all, and no upselling. read more

Copies, slightly overpriced faxes and shipping of course all in one place. My printer and copier at home never seems to work so I can always depend on this place for that sort of thing. It well organized, clean and convenient. Forgot to send some faxes from work? Well, you can come here to get that done. I had to send 8 pages that were urgent and didn't mind paying $15 or $18 dollars to get it out asap. Copies work well. Self serve pay at the machine just like the fax machines. No nonsense. Don't forget your last original in the machine. This place is a convenient place. Staplers, scissors highlighters and everything else you may need it right where you need it at the different work spaces. Shipping. Ugh. Make sure you fill out everything and label everything perfectly the first time. Its more expensive than USPS but they have more convenient hours. read more
