I just had to print and ship a package and they were very helpful and efficient. I can see why to some people these workers may come off as rude but in my experience they weren't being actively rude- even when i saw them dealing with a difficult customer. There is a reason this location has such poor reviews. I popped in today to ship a package and after waiting on the older Caucasian gentlemen with white hair and beard to finish telling his very inappropriate story to his co-worker he finally asked what I needed. My patience was expired at that point so I simply handed him my phone with my FedEx QR code at which point he very rudely said "what am I supposed to do with that?" Considering it's a FedEx code and he works at a FedEx I naturally expected him to use it to ship my product. This goofball should be in the back licking envelopes and not facing customers. 1/10 Will not go here again read more

I had a really disappointing experience here. The employee who helped me seemed visibly angry before I even approached the counter. Throughout the interaction, he was unkind, dismissive, and clearly annoyed by basic questions. I remained polite and friendly, but it didn't seem to make a difference. At one point I even asked if everything was okay because of how tense the interaction felt, and he insisted he wasn't in a bad mood, despite his behavior saying otherwise. Unfortunately, this was some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I wouldn't recommend this location. The process to create labels for shipment or RMAs is very easy and helps others that need to ship out packages even easier. No printer? No problem! No packaging box or supplies? No problem! I've been coming to this location and it does seem understaffed as with a couple of people in line can feel like the service is taking a long time. There are some days that you get lucky and a representative is available immediately. My most recent visit was short and quick! I was assisted by Jose as he greeted me as I stepped into the establishment. He quickly helped me with a couple of things that I needed and I was out the door within 10mins. I think the staff at this FedEx location make it a point to make your visit here as miserable as possible. Not much in this world really gets me down, other than more than one Prius in front of me in traffic, or perhaps a man bun on a gangly hipster at a bar in Silverlake, but going into this hell hole of a store actually takes a piece of my soul away on each visit. It's a bit like listening to Donald Trump speak, each word out of his cake hole kills one of my brain cells, two, if he mentions Biden, which is often... I may just be a vegetable at the end of this administration. Is it normal for cerebral liquid to be on your pillow in the morning? Anyway, back to FedEx. I walked in there today, quite cheery - it's Friday after all and it's Sushi night, which I always look forward to, but I was immediately greeted by a manic screeching woman (Let's call her Rhonda) yelling at a young guy (Let's call him Arjun) who was unsure of which plastic envelope a piece of paper should be deposited. Rhonda was very insistent that it should go in the clear envelope on the top shelf in the office but Arjun did not agree... He was sure it should go in the brown envelope on the shelf below... I stood there while this argument continued and migrated to the counter where it continued for a further three minutes before I asked if I could please just leave my package and get a receipt and perhaps they could continue their discussion after I had left. This prompted a flurry of movement while Rhonda picked up some excess packing shrimps from the floor and Arjun logged into a computer to scan my package, however, there was a problem. I had reused a FedEx Express box and put a Ground Label on it! This prompted the world to come crashing down on Arjun. I had apparently committed a heinous shipping crime! I was even warned that I should expect a visit from the shipping Police at their earliest convenience! I asked him why I couldn't simply reuse the box? It did say reuse and recycle on it... but apparently this isn't policy, I couldn't even put brown tape on it because he'd know that I was attempting to cover up my crime, so, I'd have to throw away the box, get a new one and repack it. Now, I do like to recycle where possible and minimise my impact on the planet and I mentioned to Arjun that his stance might be a little ridiculous. 'Policy is policy' he said and that was that. I suspect imagination isn't one of Arjun's strengths. I wonder if he's hoping to go into entertainment... I'm not sure how far he'd get, but If Curb Your Enthusiasm ever comes back for a surprise season, he'd be perfect Larry David fodder! Oh, and you know what I did with the package? I took it to the other FedEx office at Van Nuys, who were lovely, scanned the package, gave me a receipt and wished me a wonderful weekend. read more

Every time I go here I'm sorry I do, but it is the most convenient on my way to work. This morning there were two workers and two people they were helping that were taking forever and I was running late to work. I asked if I could just drop off my package which still needed to be taped and he said no. After about 15 minutes, I said can I please use your tape so I can seal my package and leave it and he said they are not allowed to let customers use their tape. I looked up FedEx policies and there was no such policy. He was just being a jerk. That's pretty typical at this location. read more

Location is convenient but pray you do not get waited on by Alistair (aka Al). He is very rude and condescending towards customers and makes for a very unpleasant FedEx experience. I went to ship two envelopes with my FedEx account number. One went through the second, for whatever reason, did not. Perhaps due to a system glitch. I don't know why because the gentleman (who was surly from the jump) had no idea why and basically told me to pound pavement. I asked if it was my account or the system and he looked at me like I was the problem and said he gave me all the information he had and I should either pay in cash or get out of line. He offered no solutions and honestly was just rude for the sake of being rude. I left them a bad review long ago for their below dirt service. and today after months or years I shipped another pre labeled package with then to go out for next day service. dropped it off around 1 pm today. The package shows it didn't make the 5:00 pm cut off point, even though they had it. So it will be shipping out tomorrow instead. And charging me full price. Do not go here. This place is terrible. Waiting in line scanning a package that needs to go out on rush. They aren't supportive or helpful at all! Very bad service!! That's why I never use FED EX and/or this location! Fed Ex is the most expensive shipping wise! I paid $68.00 for next day and printed the label from home. They scanned it at 5:01 and counted it as today. They could have handed to the guy picking up for the 5:00 pm cut off for next day. Now it's taking 2 days basically! USPS and UPS are a much better service for 12.00 for 2 day service. I even called later in the evening and the guy promised it was picked up. Literally I never really believe low ratings on here, especially with places like this. However, with this location, they are all unfortunately true and valid, and perhaps even worse in person. I arrived in the last 40 minutes and after I printed everything I had and lugged in all my stuff, when the counter person announced 10 minutes before closing I walked to the front and waited in line and I felt bad for the guy because it was only one person at the register with 5 people in line. So I waited the whole time in line and it wasn't till closing time that the second guy came out to help. However even after that, Indian worker told me I was too late and couldn't be helped and I said why didn't you say that while I was in line? To which he said I did when I said you had 10 minutes before closing and I said yeah that's why I got in line. Still he kicked me out and basically only helped the white women so if I wanted to even go further and make it race thing I could. Honestly that place is dirty, poorly staffed and rude. This review is specifically for a wonderful employee named Marcos. My husband and I came into this location after a bad experience at the FedEx down the road to get 3 posters printed in color. Marcos was helpful, very professional, answered all of our questions, and was a real pro when it came to resizing my images on photoshop. He called to let us know when the posters were ready well within the estimated time frame he provided and pricing was very fair. The worst location. I hate coming here and have never had a good experience here. They take forever. I waited over 30 minutes last time I came in and there were two people in line. Fed Ex skipped my delivery of my dogs heart medication that needs to be refrigerated . It would have gone bad without refrigeration overnight but luckily I was able to get there before they closed the day delivery was missed. This was a huge inconvenience but of course the location has "nothing to do with the drivers", and was unable to assist me.The gentleman that helped me was slower than Father Time. He also lacked any customer service. And let's not forget the manager. So unhelpful. No secret why this location has two stars. read more

Half of their printers were broken so I had to come back towards the end of the day when it wasn't as busy and to print you have to use a credit card and they put a hold on the credit card. Not a big deal happens all the time except it's been almost a week and that money is still Holding while everything I did pay was charged, so right now my account has essentially been charged twice and I still have money on hold by FedEx almost a week later. On top of that, printing there was double the cost what it was at a smaller place nearby, so just don't bother with this place. read more

PSA SAFETY WARNING TO ALL WOMEN!! I almost got trafficked at this location. I went in late one night to print something out. It was around midnight and I was working with the only employee in the store to get something printed. We were the only two people there until suddenly two men came in and an ominous feeling filled the air. He approached me and asked if I was "a working girl." I said no and he proceeded to pull out cash and forcefully asked again. I continued to decline. I immediately knew I had to get out of there. I walked over to the counter to collect my printed materials. At that monument I noticed the other man guarding the front door. I looked to the worker for reassurance and he disappeared to the back. The man that was offering me money hid behind some racks and started gesturing to the man standing by the door. I called my friend down the street and started giving him the address so he could come get me from the store. Then two additional men holding huge computers came barging in and started arguing with the other two men that were already in the store. The computers had wires coming out of them as if they just stole them or something. As all the men were, I decided to make a run for it. I made it past the man guarding the door because he was distracted. He bolted after me yelling at me to "get the $&@! back here." I sprinted off into the distance as fast as I could. I ran all the way home and got my car the next day. The employee never reappeared during the whole incident. I'm not sure if he was scared or maybe even had a part in everything going on. He might have been calling the police, I just don't know. I didn't realize how serious the situation was until later and I really should have called the police. Lesson learned there. I don't blame the store for this necessarily but this is more a warning to women to not go into this store alone at night! read more

I love how helpful the folks are in this FedEx Office. They can be swamped at times - so schedule your visit on non-peak / off-peak times to save yourself some time. We have used them numerous times to make signs, posters, etc. They have all the tools we need to create a wonderful poster! read more
