FedEx is absolute trash. I don't know why they even have tracking information since it changes to later and later daily. I wish everybody who shipped with FedEx showed that's who they shipped with because I wouldn't never order from those places. It is absolutely ridiculous and their tracking timeline should just say EVENTUALLY. I had my medication shipped and it came through Fedex. It showed up 2 weeks later than it should and the pharmacist said in no way shape or form should I take that medication with the way the weather has been changing. We will courier them to you. We're an hour away. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I just had another package come from FedEx the truck was beat to hell. Looked like the door was ready to fall off. read more

We went there after being told by Fedex customer support that we could bring ID and pick the item up at the Fedex Ship Center in Virginia Beach. It had already been delayed for no apparent reason and was rescheduled to be delivered 3 days later. We drove over an hour only to be told that they weren't going to look for it. The person made several lame excuses, but what it boiled down to was laziness. They told several customers using different reasons as excuses to not give them their packages. read more

This FedEx Ship Center is located just off of International Parkway and Central Drive. You have to turn onto Central Drive and onto Excalibur Court to get to the location even though the address is on Lynnhaven Parkway. You will want to turn into the first right afterwards to get to the FedEx Ship Center building and just follow the arrows for customer parking up to the building. My most recent visit here was on December 30, 2021. The reason for my most recent visit was to drop off an express package for my mom that had to go back out that same day. I didn't want to leave it to chance with the drop boxes. After parking, I went inside, but there wasn't anyone at the desk. After about a minute or two, a representative came out. She was very nice. I gave her the package, weighed it, and gave me a receipt with the tracking number for it. I can tell you that the package did make it to the intended destination that next morning as it should be. Overall, they got the job done that needed to be done. Even though there wasn't anyone there when I came in, I am pretty sure they are probably understaffed like many other places these days. The representative was really good when she came out and completed what needed to be done quickly too. I feel comfortable coming back here in the future to drop off time sensitive items through them. If you are in the same situation, and this is the closest location, you should be good to go here. read more

Depending on which side you are entering from, it is a long windy road to get here! Even though online it said I could pick up my package after 6pm, I called the hotline & my package could be picked up before that time. Make sure to basically drive right up to the door for customer parking. Well lit & the bell rings every time the door opens. Had to wait five minutes or so to be helped. Picking up my package was smooth; showed my ID and signed. read more

This is my go-to location for courier services, which I only use on behalf of my job. My workplace has a FedEx account, and using that account number it's very easy to fill out the FedEx shipping label and drop it off to send what's needed, and then Accounting is invoiced later. We send documents that need to be returned for signatures to get contracts executed, generally next day, or hard copies of grant applications that have strict deadlines. FedEx is very reliable for these time sensitive services. If you have similar needs, I would highly recommend FedEx. I also use this location to drop off packages when returning items by mail to major retailers with prepaid return labels when those retailers didn't give me a choice in what shipping provider to use. I've never had any issues with items getting returned. I tend to choose other shipping providers when shipping personal packages because I just don't need FedEx's level of guaranteed delivery and the associated prices of those services. Frequenting this location several times a year for years, I've always found staff to be friendly and helpful. The location is consistently well-kept and well lit. My only gripe is, personally being bad with directions, I still use my GPS to remember exactly how to get to the location. The address is a bit deceiving: you have to take International Pkwy to Central Dr to Excalibur Ct then through their parking lot to the parking just outside their building. read more

Ugh. This ship center is centrally located off International Pkway in VAB near Lynnhaven. It has plenty of parking but the signage is confusing if you are directed there to pick up a package for customers. You need to take the very first right once you turn in and park by the entrance that says "Ship Center" otherwise you'll be at the back where the warehouse is. Every single time I have fedex delivery it's like doorbell dash and they ring and run as fast as possible. I'd say if I've had 100 packages delivered by fedex at my home - 5 have actually not had to be picked up by me.... This most recent time they didn't arrive when they said they would back to the warehouse so I had to make another trip the next day. So annoying. read more

FedEx SUCKS. Every time I receive a package from someone and there is a delay, or broken or misplaced, its ALWAYS FedEx. I live in an apartment complex and instead of leaving my box at the front desk or bringing it to my apartment door, this driver LEAVES MY PACKAGE IN THE COMMON AREA WITH 12 OTHER APARTMENT MAILBOXES. FedEx Ship Center - 20 apartment mailboxes, countless residents and FedEx left my box out in the open for anyone to take. - Shipping Centers Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

I've ordered two packages and although I do live on the third floor they delivered them below at the mailboxes where anyone can see and steal my package. They also mark them as delivered to the doorstep/porch which isn't the case. Thank God I'm able to grab it but we do have seniors on our level and they couldn't grab their packages if they were even in my situation. I feel FedEx is lazy and could walk the extra steps and actually deliver it to the door. read more

Rude customer service at the front desk TODAY - 10/02/2014 during lunch hours. Thinking about letting corporate know that customers are being told to drive their own cars to the back bay so the the person at the front doesn't have to lift a finger. Customers are also expected to unload their own boxes onto the conveyor belt. This is a terrible place. read more

Received a door tag stating that I could pick up the shipment after 5pm. I arrived at the pickup location at 5:30pm and was advised that it was not available since the driver had not returned. I did not receive a door tag on day 2 but was told that the driver had attempted delivery on day 2. I am now at home waiting for delivery on day 3. I was told that shipment is an envelope and requires a signature but that block on the door tag was not checked yet the block on the tag for signature has "NA" written in it. Tag also is checked for must "be present to receive delivery" and "be 21 years or older......". I was told (I think) that the two deliveries were attempted at 10:58 and 11:23 . It is now 11:15 and I have heard nothing about the day 3 delivery. I am wondering- do FedEx drivers claim they attempted delivery when they don't actually do so? read more

I stopped in here to pick up a package that I wasn't home for which required a signature. The delivery driver left a note stating they'd attempt to drop it off again but being that it was a Friday, I'd have to wait until Monday. Because patience isn't my forte, I decided to stop in Saturday to pick up my package. I knew the store was only open until 1pm but lost track of time and didn't leave my house until 15 minutes before closing time. I knew I was cutting it close but I figured I'd give it a shot. I pulled in to the parking lot at 1:02 but went up the the door anyway. It wasn't locked so I popped in. The lady working (I think her name was Angela but I could be way off) was in the process of closing up shop but she didn't turn me away; she totally could have but she didn't. Instead, she helped me and gave my kids lollipops. I thought the customer service was fantastic and worthy of a five star rating. read more
