Guys! I'm a regular here and they do not disappoint! I'm sure they know my name by now - I always get the same classic breakfast because personally I can stand by saying that this is 100% best breakfast in Bozeman, MT. If I could afford it I would come every morning, but the few times I come in the month they're the best. Kind and considerate service, fast, and delicious no matter how chaotic! I'm young but can say this english muffin is to die for! I'm moving across the country this month, and I will miss this restaurant! I actually did a research paper on this restaurant in my environmental class for interior design I love it here so much! lol. Don't knock it till you try it! After walking in and not being greeted by anybody of the staff at 10 to 2pm we took menus and sat down after a 10 minute wait a server walks over and says sorry we are closed!!! Just big clunky red barn with white trim, right in the middle of main street. Get-The-Slab-Bacon. I can say nothing more. Awesome cappuccino. Eat outside on picnic tables, take a picnic blanket outside and have a picnic (they have them to use), sit indoors at the rustic seating inside. First, you will enter through the little kitsch shop, find really neato things here, candies, sauces, books, jerkies.... Then, place and pay for your order and kitsch shopping, take your really cool id sign, something like 'kale' or 'fork', you are not just a number here, find a seat and relax. Water is free here, help yourself with the mason jars hanging from their rack right next to the ice cold metal water barrel spigot. Breakfast? Good. Slab bacon, I have died and went to heaven. Thanx to whoever created it, bonus thanx to the cooks that crisp it perfectly with a melting inside. Yeah. Buffalo burger. OMG. Worth the $19 I paid for it and really, I think paying anything over $9 for a burger is obscene, yet I paid it and will again. This burger is juicy, delicious, topped with the slab bacon and other goodies on a grilled brioche bun. Each bite filled my senses. The sides that came with it were magnificent. Just simple green salad and pickled veggies, but the salad was dressed in this awesome vinegrette and the pickled veggies were done perfect, the old style way, radishes, onions, carrots and such just paired perfect with the burger and salad. We had brunch here while visiting Bozeman and it was awesome. Hubby had out of this world French toast and a sandwich and I had the more traditional breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast). Bozeman is an hour drive from where were staying for the summer. We came to feed twice. That's four hours of driving to eat here. It's very worth it. The first time we came we tried out the breakfast options. I went with the veggie hash and the wife got the same but without an egg. I have to say, cooking vegetarian is often boring, bland, and tastes like health food. NOT this stuff. It's packed with flavor, well cooked, well seasoned, and they took the time to make a veggie dish pop. It was flat out amazing. The second time we came for lunch and split one of their toast specials and the "chop chop". Once again, the veggie chop chop dish was out of this world. Deep and compelling flavor for a veggie only dish. The toast was smaller, but great. All in all splitting the two items was the correct amount for two people. If you're in Bozeman, go now. Went to Feed Café for the first time with our friends who live in Bozeman to celebrate their daughters birthday for breakfast. It's her favorite place and I see why!! This building is so cool! We loved our food and coffee drinks (house-made vanilla bean flavoring was yummy). That sourdough toast and muffin was delicious! Ummmmmmm..... this was my favorite restaurant while staying in Bozeman for a week. Went three times. First time, got the Monte Cristo. Second, the Elk Burger. Third, the French Toast. Outstanding. Very inviting atmosphere as well. As I write these words from the cesspool of corruption that is Los Angeles, I'm starting to really miss it and look forward to going back one day!!! read more

You order everything at the counter- we both got juice and breakfast because they don't serve lunch until 11am. At least that what we were told. Juice menu was so simple, three choices (#1, #2, or #3) with no modifications because it's fresh made in bulk daily. Sweet! Even though the juice wasn't made on the spot, it tasted fresh and left a super good feeling in my tummy.. Nothing like fresh veggies and greens in the morning! I ordered the truffled egg sandwich. Anything with truffles in it, will more than likely melt my heart and this did indeed do just that. Sourdough was exceptionally good with truffle oil atop a scrambled fried egg, smothered with arugula and sautéed mushrooms in between. It was like having a grilled Gruyere cheese sandwich with heavenly ingredients I would have conjured in a dream inside. I love the interior decor! It's open and airy with a spaciousness about it, that can almost create a draft (grab your sweater). There were also picnic blankets if you happen to be compelled to pop a squat outdoors on their grassy front lawn. I'm so happy we made it here before we parted town. I enjoyed my Roast turkey sammich with grilled apples at the Feed Cafe in Bozeman, Montana. I also tried the oatmeal, and they have a very good dark roast coffee. There are many tasty and healthy choices on the menu. Food is made with good quality ingredients...this is what I call "real" food. You order at the counter. The place can get a little noisy when it's full. It's fairly quiet if you come at a less busy time. The decor on the walls is interesting...have a look around if you visit. The GPS has a hard time finding this place. But it's worth looking for. I'll definitely eat here again when I'm in Bozeman. This cafe is on the main street, and it's NOT in the narrow alley-like street which my GPS took me down! read more

I've had breakfast here, and I was not impressed at all. My breakfast included an omelet with chorizo sausage and avocado, a vegetable side and a cup of coffee, all for $14. The omelet was covered in avocado and the grease from the sausage soaked through the egg. I couldn't taste the egg at all, just salt and avocado. I ended up leaving most of my breakfast on the table and going somewhere else to eat. I would not recommend eating here. read more

We had breakfast at Feed this morning and it was a great experience- wonderful food! If you like the Nova, you'll certainly enjoy this (same owners). It's a simpler style of restaurant, order at the counter, they bring it out, bus your own table. Menu is simple but covers everything you would want. Full coffee bar and baked goods to fulfill your every need! For just staring out, there were no kinks in anything and the place was packed! I guess the Nova reputation carries over. It was just very okay and the friendly atmosphere was just not there. While we are not from the area, we felt unwelcome and the meal was just so, so. Because of Covid they are half baked both in personality and service. To me, if your that paranoid, continue with taking out only and don't make customers feel like they have social coodies... The communication on how they operated was a hot mess! My husband ordered tea but the gal didn't say they hand brew it and so when everybody else's drinks had come and my husband didn't we asked and the gal got really snarky and said, " she getting to it". We were a party of 3, one had the french toast that was amazing and could feed two people easily, the sausage egg and cheese on english mugfin was scrumptious, and our third loved the oats with fruit. Service was awesome, food was incredible, atmosphere nice, and not hard on the wallet. We decided to eat breakfast here again a few days later and each got different items. i love this place!!! the staff is SO nice. coffee is awesome. the pastries looked really good. i got Toast #1 which had avocado salsa, tomato, ham and other good stuff. the "avocado salsa" was really just avocado mixed with spices, cilantro, lime and more. it made a tasty twist on traditional avo toast. it was served on a thick piece of sourdough. it was the perfect portion for a nice breakfast, not bad for $6 my dad got salmon hash which he said was excellent. they moderately busy and it took us only 10 minutes to get our food. will definitely come back to this cute place if we're in bozeman again :) read more

Rustic, authentic, friendly, and DELICIOUS. We had the French toast and the Muff sandwich (think if a fast food sandwhich grew up and knew how to be REAL food). Bottomless coffee, quick and super friendly people and such a "hidden" gem. We got there 30 minutes to close on our way to Yellowstone--tired and hangry--and this place saved my newly wedded husband and me from seriously hurting each other. :) Also, when they found out we had just gotten married 3 weeks ago they surprised us at our table with a Happy Anniversary macaroon! If you want good food, to linger or quickish, hearty or pastries, don't pass up this place. So glad we found it on Yelp. Wishing them continued success. read more
