It's pizza! It didn't wow me, but it wasn't horrible either. I'm a northerner so pizza is sacred . I would like more sauce and something the cheese isn't melted enough. I order the Specialty slice and a slice of Sicilian pepperoni. Both satisfied my craving. Service was quick and friendly. Again I would have loved a saucier slice with a crispier crust. I'm giving 5 stars for the quality of the pizza because it was top tier! I got the large spinach and mushroom pizza Sicilian style and was pleasantly surprised how big the slices were. I ended up having to split it with another person and still had leftovers for the next day. The pizza had the perfect amount of seasoning and spices and you can tell the chefs used some high quality cheese. I was a little disappointed by the vibe inside the restaurant. Ladies and gentlemen this place has gone down hill and I don't understand why! I moved from Atlanta to Charlotte about 3 years ago and before I left I use to buy pizza at this location. A large pie ($22.00) use to be a large pie. I am now back living in the Atlanta area and tonight (12.13,21) I decided to get a pie and I am completely disappointed. Ordered a large pie but this looks like a medium....the pie and slices have never been this small. Then I paid for extra toppings (spinach and ricotta) and whoever made the pizza didn't care if the toppings were on every slice. Not sure why the quality of the pizza has gone down but I will not be returning. Visited this establishment one late night. The environment is very upbeat and chill. The cashier greeted us with a smile, but wasn't too good when it came to recommendations as it was our first time here. She just pointed at the menu and said "pick whatever you want!" Ummmmmm, ok! The food was made fresh and was amazing. The flavor is so robust that you literally taste every seasoning used. I had the Spinach and Cheese Calzone and it was loaded with Cheese and Spinach. Not dough heavy and the crust was perfectly made. My friends enjoyed their pizza as well. The menu is a bit pricey for a pizza shop, however, due to the quality and freshness it's worth it. I went here a few weeks ago late on a Saturday night. The line was literally out the door. I was surprised to see that. I had been here once before, but I couldn't remember if the pizza was THAT good. I was excited to try it again since it was so packed. Honestly...the pizza is just ok. It's not the best I've had, but also not the worst. I had the supreme and Hawaiian. The toppings kept falling off the supreme so I ended up just making a mess. Also, I want to mention a few things. 1.The slice sizes on the wall are super deceiving! I ordered 2 slices because the slice cut out on the wall seemed pretty small. They aren't. 2. When they say a specialty comes with extra cheese, it really comes with extra cheese. If I go back, I'll definitely only get a little cheese. It was just tooo much for me. Great pizza! I called in to order a medium white pizza for takeout (w/ ranch of course yum ). The person who answered the phone seemed very confused and inattentive - but to be fair, it also seemed really busy. Ultimately, I got my order in and picked it up within 20 minutes. The pizza was fantastic! It was garlicky and the crust was perfect. Everything totaled to a $20 and some change - pretty sure they charge you for the ranch which is pretty standard these days IMO. In other words, it's good food that's worth the price at a covid friendly place. read more

Wow what a hidden gem in Atlanta! This place was packed and we wanted pizza so we gave it a try and it 10/10 did NOT disappoint! I got a regular slice of cheese and added pepperoni. I'm giving this place 4 stars because when I was drunk I wanted to give it 5 stars, but when I had the same pizza the day after it tasted very salty. Maybe it was because they didn't use fresh olives and used the jarred kind, maybe they just love salt. Not sure. But I will say that while I was devouring my slice of vegetarian pizza ...... I was loving it. It was so delicious; the crust was great, it was fresh, and everything was melted together perfectly. Additionally, the staff were very nice and I really appreciated that. Fellini's has indoor and outdoor seating and it was packed when we got there (around 1:30am). I liked the outdoor seating, it was definitely less packed and if it hadn't been so late it would've felt as charming as it looked. Forgive me for I have sinned...I've been coming to this wonderful establishment for years and have never written a review before now. Some may disagree and that's fine, but this is my review, based on my experience (s), so here goes... Been in Atlanta since 97' and to date this is THE best pizza spot that I have come across. Not from NYC and being honest I'm not much of a fan of the pizza that I've tried there, so I can't speak much on that for comparison purposes. But I can speak on the wonderful goodness that I get from Fellini's. Nothing special about the inside/outside décor because the attention is in the slice (s). Looking at my other pictures and reviews on Yelp, one could infer that I eat my share of meat. But when at Fellini's I transform into vegan mode. The vegetarian pizza slice and the spinach + mushroom pizza will have you doing a happy dance. The salad is also a winner and the dressing will have you drinking from the bowl. Don't agree, okay cool. Let me know some of your favorite pizza spots and I'll be glad to check them out and even go grab a slice with you. But for now, my money goes to Fellini's as best in ATL. 2.5 stars TL;DR: Willing to give this place another shot, but fell short of my expectations. ARRIVAL: Came on a Saturday night around 9 during winter and it wasn't too busy. There's a parking lot that wraps around the back of the restaurant. It's kind of a quick turn off Ponce de Leon. You order at the counter and sit down for dine in or hang around the front for take out. AMBIANCE: Old school pizza parlor vibes without cushioned seats and a bit desolate feeling. The decor did not make me feel like I'd want to stay. MENU: I like that they sell by the slice or whole and have a simple menu. 2 types of crust available. 5 fLaVOrS or build your own. Calzones and Salads available too. FOOD: Between two of us, we got 4 slices: Fellini's special, white pizza (which has red sauce FYI), pepperoni, and 2 cheese (all regular crust but one). They essentially heat up the large slices and we got our take out in about 10 mins. Starting with the Fellini's special; It was sooooo salty! Bite after bite it was consistently salty so I was unable to take more than 3-4 bites hoping it was just a fluke of too much olive brine in one bite, but it didn't get better. The white pizza was alright, it was just looots of mozzarella with garlic essence but I could barely taste the ricotta (which is a fav topping of mine). I didn't eat the Sicilian slice because it was SO THICCCKCKC that it didn't look appetizing. My boyfriend loves pizza and was starving and didn't even finish that slice. The thin crust was pretty crispy though! It wasn't the quality of the pizza that was lacking but mostly the flavor. PRICE: Great! Less than $5 for a big slice! Dinner for 2 easily under $30. OVERALL: I've heard people talking about Fellini's and had high hopes because of the good reviews as well, but it severely lacked in living up to those expectations. I was looking for a place to get by the slice and this spot really hit it with what I wanted and flavors executed. I highly recommend a regular cheese slice! Next time I will add pepperoni but it's so good as a plain slice as well. I will say I do add little things to my pizza while eating; I put salt on a plate and rub the back of the pizza lightly and eat it. I also sprinkle red pepper and cheese on top. This review is for Fellini's Vegetarian pizza. My family likes the regular crust veggie pizza and we usually eat at the restaurant. This time I decided to order to pickup to have dinner and watch a movie together at home. I would give it a 4 star for the quality of that pizza. I ordered a large Sicilian version to try out. It was all dough and hardly much toppings. I was expecting some tomato sauce and the similar toppings you get with their regular crust. It is a very thick crust and very little toppings. Very disappointing and we didn't finish the pizza. I would give 1 star for the Sicilian and felt generous to give them a 3 star for the overall experience. They should rename the Sicilian to All Crust pizza. read more

I have been a fan of Fellini's Pizza for many years. I used to ~ frequent the location on Peachtree Road before they bought out the bike shop and switched the location with La Fonda. I had not been to this location before. The main challenge here is parking. The lot is not expansive. You may need to park on the street (which is possible, but in our case this involved walking a couple of blocks back to the restaurant). You order at the counter and get a sign for your table to allow food-delivery. The interior of the place is all hard-surface and it is quite loud. It was a relief to get back outside after eating, due to the noise. They do have some patio space, which could be a good option depending on the weather. We opted for slices and split a salad. We had to go in search of our own silverware, which we fetched out of a space in the employee area. The salad was good, if standard. It was fresh, at least. The slices were the same high-quality as always, and large enough for one to serve as a light meal. Beverage selection was basically beer or soft drinks. This is worth checking out if you are in the area. However, if I just wanted to eat at a Fellini's I might go back to the one on Peachtree instead for parking/quiet. read more

If you love authentic Italian Pizza then this is the place you should check out. Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed a line leading up to the door. At first, it appeared a little intimidating. In addition, there wasn't any spots in their parking lot. I came here on a weekend night which explains the large crowd. For parking you can go down the street to parallel park your vehicle. Me and my sister was only in line for about 10 minutes. You place your order at the front and pay there as well. They also have indoor and outdoor sitting. Once seated, we got our drinks from fountain machine. Soon after that, the salad came out. The garden salad was very fresh and had lots of flavor. We waited about 30 minutes for our food to come out. Once the pizza came out, me and my sister ordered a large spinach mushroom pizza with jalapeños and feta cheese. The pizza was packed with extra cheese, spinach and mushroom. The feta cheese and jalapeño were extra. For the drinks, pizza, and salad came to under 40 dollars for two people. To be honest, not a bad price at all. The restroom was nice and clean and the staff were friendly and did wear masks while serving. This place is a 5/5 in my book. read more
