The boba is also really fresh as well, nothing crumbly or tough about it. The ambience upon arrival was perfect: chill music, vibrant colors, and easy to read menus (it had a good flow of organization pretty much). I got their matcha breeze with crystal boba. They were out of the regular tapioca boba so I opted for the crystal boba. It was a clear, jelly like consistency and rather chewy. I still prefer the regular boba. The drink wasn't as good as the first time I had it -- the cheese foam had no flavor! Not sure what went wrong, but I would still come back. read more

This was nicely boba tea location. Beautifully designed with some seating in the back of the restaurant. Feng Cha is in Lower Greenville. I remember when Greenville used to be full of bars and nightclubs. The Tea here is good, and I like that you are able to customize your order from the sweetness to the amount of ice in your drink. Ordered the creme brûlée dirty boba, taro milk tea, and oreo cheese milk tea. The creme brûlée dirty boba had many layers. The top was a salty warm cream layer with burnt crisp pieces, the middle was the "dirty" part with brown sugar sweetness, and the bottom was boba (great texture) mixed with syrup. The taro milk tea was better than other places I've tried, flavor was subtle and not too overwhelming. Ordered Citrus Lord and Milk Green tea, both of them without ice. The tea flavors were very light, we felt that the tea barista just added water into our drinks (instead of filling up the cups with the original team/drink) to make up the difference without ice, and therefore the drinks were diluted. I go to Feng Cha a lot. The Coppell, Carrollton, and Addison branches are all very solid. I usually go for the kiwi basil or citrus lord. Their milk tea is pretty good for the area. I got the classic black milk tea with boba. The boba was a bit hard and tasted like it had been sitting for some time. However the tea at 75% sweetness was good and not too sweet either. I'll definitely return though! read more

I thought this was such a cute little spot on the strip in Greenville. There's a really nice looking mural painted on the inside if you're an Instagram junkie like myself. I'm a Kung Fu Tea kinda girl when it comes to boba, but I had to check this place out to see if it was comparable. They don't have as much of a variety as I would've liked but I tried the Oolong just to be on the safe side - cuz it's pretty hard to mess that up. There was no wait and the person making my tea was very fast. I probably waited one minute total and I thought that was awesome! I love the containers the boba comes in - I'm honestly not sure if the cup is plastic or not but it looks like they spent good money and presentation means a lot to me. Taste wise - I would give this place a 7/10. I can't put my finger on it but the flavor just was giving what I wanted it to. It still was above average though and on a hot day like today it was still refreshing. After trying this place I think I'll stay loyal to Kung Fu, but my experience here was very good! read more

One of my go-to boba places within the Dallas city limits. I've always had an efficient experience here, both ordering in-person or via their app. The interior decor is cute. It's on the smaller side with just a few tables. The mango au-lait is a common order of mine. A nice fresh mango flavor that taste authentic. I think one of Feng Cha's strengths is the quality of their tapioca balls, which has a pleasant chew to them. I've found their teas to not be overly sweet as some other places can be. read more

Drink was good but really annoyed by the girl at the front. I walked up to their window and waited several minutes, another lady getting in line behind me as well. We see a guy walk inside after we'd already been standing there a few minutes. Eventually they open the window to give someone their order, and before almost just closing the window in my face without a word, the worker says "I have an order to take inside first, you can come in there if you want" so the lady in line behind me, who is also visibly annoyed, and I go inside to see the order she was referring to was the guy who came in several minutes after we'd already been in line. I made it a point to mention to the worker how the other lady and I had already been in line before that guy even showed up and it would have been appreciated if she'd helped us first with that being the case, and she just looked at me confused and said "ok" no apology and further explanation whatsoever. Really deterred me, there are plenty of other good boba spots in Dallas. I won't be returning to this one due to incompetent staff read more
