Not sure why it took me so long but I finally tried Feng Cha Teahouse and it's good! Got Taro Milk Tea with Boba 50% Sugar, Green Milk Tea with Boba, Strawberry Breeze No Lychee and Oreo Cheese. My favorites were the Strawberry Breeze and Oreo Cheese. I was really excited to try the taro milk tea, I always love this drink and other reviews were saying that it's good, however, it was a bit of a letdown for me. It tasted more artificial/processed, almost like it was a powder. I also asked for 50% sweet because I don't like my drinks very sweet and it was still very sweet! Imagine if I hadn't asked for that, it would have been even sweeter. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not terrible and sometimes artificial things taste good but this just wasn't what I was expecting, I thought it would taste more like real taro. I also tasted some type of tea in it, not sure what but that definitely added to the flavor profile which I appreciated. If you want a real taro drink, not artificial, I would go to 7 Leaves Cafe. The green milk tea is good, it's pretty standard, wasn't amazing but decent, probably wouldn't get it again though just because it didn't wow me. I didn't adjust the sweetness and it was way too sweet, making me think the drinks here are very sweet. The boba is decent, a bit softer than I'm used to compared to other shops but it has good flavor. The tea to boba ratio is perfect. I do wish they offered mini boba, I love adding it to my drinks. Surprisingly, I'm usually a milk tea kind of gal and strawberry breeze was my favorite of the three drinks I tried. It was full of flavor and not overly sweet, I didn't adjust the sweetness. It's kind of like a slushee/smoothie. I do like that they have some healthier options with just tea and you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. I also really enjoyed the Oreo cheese milk foam sponge cake. I had been dying to try their cakes, they look so good. It's light and airy and the cake isn't overly sweet, the perfect amount of sweetness with the milk foam and Oreos! As of right now, not sure if I would go out of my way to come here since I didn't find a drink that I really liked, however, I definitely want to come back and try some other drinks and maybe I'll find one that really speaks to me. They're located in a shopping plaza with a free parking lot, I had no issues finding parking. There was no wait when I came on a Friday around 4 PM. My drinks and cake came out quick! Service is very friendly and quick. They just recently opened I think a few weeks ago. The inside is casual, very cute and modern. It would be the perfect place to grab drinks with some friends and hang out. I love their rose wall. The music is also on point whoever makes their playlist, I vibe with it, it's good mainstream music. The prices are fair considering inflation and the cups are a good size. They give you the perfect amount of boba, not too little, not too much. read more

Stopped by to try out the drinks here on the Sunday of their grand opening weekend, so fortunately made use of their BOGO offer 7/22-7/23. We got 4 drinks and ALL of them were spot on!! Ranking them: 1) Creme Brûlée Dirty Boba -- excellent 2) Mango Aulait -- very good 3) Taro Breeze -- good 4) Kiwi Basil (seed) Green Tea -- good Really wanted to try Purple Reign, but they were sold out of that drink. The young lady at the register was so informative and patient with us while we made our selections greatly appreciated. The ambiance was over the top with padded bench seats in the front waiting area with aquariums underneath!! I'll give a fair rating because the inside was nice, the service was fast and kind. But this may be one of the worst boba drinks I have ever had. I ordered the classic milk Tea with boba. Simple, right? The drink itself tastes like stale coffee for some reason. Not tea. The boba is overcooked and absolutely flavorless. This drink is MAYBE in a 12 ounce skinny cup. Take away the ice and boba and maybe it's 8 ounces of liquid. That's almost a dollar an ounce, for a less than enjoyable drink. I only took a few sips before I tossed it- as seen in photo. read more

Love this Feng Cha location! First off, this location is gorgeous! The interior is stunning and very clean. Service is very friendly and inviting. I ordered Crème Brûlée Dirty Boba, Oreo Cheese Milk Tea, and Purple Reign. They were all so good! The crème brûlée was such a great addition! It elevated the drink by adding a delightful smokey flavor. The oreo cheese added a yummy salty sweet flavor! The Purple Reign was the most interesting in my opinion. There's lots of new boba spots opening up in north OC and I'm a big fan! I tried Feng Cha during their grand opening weekend and took advantage of their BOGO deal by getting their dirty boba with black tea, oolong milk tea (75% sweet, no ice), fresh lemon black tea (75% sweet, less ice), and summer melon (75% sweet, no ice). The staff was really friendly even with how many customers they were serving during their grand opening, and they were happy to answer any questions I had! I wanted to try their lychee oolong, but they said that they weren't serving lychee drinks this weekend which I was bummed about especially since they advertised it on their instagram. The inside is really nice though with comfy chairs that make it an ideal place to hangout and chat with friends. Here's my review of all the drinks I tried: Dirty boba with black tea (3.5/5) - This drink was pretty good! I liked the brown sugar flavor and thought that the addition of tea helped things not feel to heavy or rich, but I think that my tastes might be changing to prefer milk teas over these more syrupy drinks. Oolong milk tea (3/5) - The roasted oolong flavor was nice, but I felt like there was too much milk added. Fresh lemon black tea (4.5/5) - I liked the strong lemon and tea flavor, and I think it would have been even better with lychee jelly or some sort of fruity topping. Summer melon (2/5) - I'm not sure if it's because I drank this the day after I bought it, but this drink was weirdly really bitter? I've never had a melon drink become bitter this quickly, but it was a little hard to drink even for me who doesn't normally mind more bitter teas. Overall I would give this place a 3.5/5 (rounded up to 4 stars). The drinks were just okay to me, but I'd like to try some other options and see if there's other drinks that I'd like better! read more

I got a ginger milk tea and my buddy got a classic milk tea. But it was so awkward, their service is lacking.A dry welcome, barely knowing the menu....odd vibes set by the baristas. The drink was over priced, my drink was chunky ginger and not balanced. Kung Fu never messed up this drink order, but the ginger drink here sucks. Buddy got a classic milk tea which had no tea flavor and considering it's a classic well known menu item it should be to correct standards. Good solid boba place next to cal state Fullerton! I just tried their milk tea with boba, and it didn't miss. I was actually able to taste the tea, not just the milk. AKA it didn't feel like watered down milk that I was drinking. Boba itself was chewy. I just regret getting 75% sweet bc it was still too sweet for me. But that's on me though. I was craving boba and saw Feng Cha popped up and decided to give it a try. Located in a small plaza where the inside was decorated in a nice white marble, fish tanks, and plants as decor. I was greeted, as soon as I walked through the door. While I was in line near the bobarista/cashier, they promptly explained the milk teas I had any questions about. We ended up getting two drinks: Creme brulee dirty boba and the Jasmine green milk tea. Drinks were flavorful and tasted of quality tea bases, all their milk options are lactose free, and the boba was the best i have ever had!!! This is the teahouse u want to ask which tea again was the tea u brew on the spot while customer order it! Truly i do not mind the wait cuz the tea you recieve is just that much balance and fresh. The other drinks that add premade tra just did not stand out and made my tongue more thirsty. The slush drinks are excellant and of course kids love them! This is a great tea house chain! Came across this place while I was out eating, the plaza is pretty big. The store itself was nice and I came by when all their seats were filled, not surprising for a Friday night. There were two workers handling the front and I was able to order with them instead of the kiosks. The staff was very friendly as well. Feng Cha has pretty good milk tea and drinks. I came across this place after eating lunch with some friends. I ordered the green milk tea and it was delicious. I really liked the atmosphere here! They're super nice and quick with their drink orders and recommended I tried their Strawberry Breeze which I ended up being in love with. I get work done here on a weekly basis now. Just a heads up there's only about two large tables with limited electrical outlets, I recommend bringing your own extension cord to share with your table if you're coming with a group to study! Has easily become one of my favorite boba places! Super good milk tea and the boba is so flavorful with the perfect texture. My favorite is the cookies and cream milk tea, it's not to sweet and actually tastes like tea and isn't too bitter either. The cheese foam makes it perfect + they have a dairy free house milk so you don't have to worry about an upcharge like other places if you have a dairy sensitivity!! OMG! This is literally the cutest teahouse ever! I've never been to any of the Feng Cha locations, so this was my first time experience. I wished I had a place like this when I was attending CSUF. I would've loved to do my studying here. So if you're a student, definitely come check this place out! Since I was in the area, I stopped by with some friends to try out some different iced drinks and share one of their cakes. As soon as I entered, my eyes went straight to the beautiful interior of the spot. There's benches off to the side that have fish tanks under them. How cool is that? There's also a good amount of tables and comfortable seating available. I was surprised to even find a cute sitting area perfect for some reading or watching. Everything looked comfortable, yet chic. And we all over a tea house that has comfortably soft seating. We were welcomed by the cheerful faces of Nick and Kelly. They were super helpful in helping us decide what drinks to order. We decided to go with the Jasmine Green Tea with Taro foam, Mango Fantasy, Summer Melon Fruit Drink, and the Creme Brulee Dirty Boba. We also ordered a Tiramisu cake to share. The cakes that they make here are so vibrant and pretty. One bite of the cake, it was so soft without being overwhelming sweet. I loved the little coffee tasting bits added on top for texture. The Summer Melon and Mango Fantasy are refreshing drinks perfect for hot and sunny days. My friend added aloe vera and strawberry popping bobas to the Summer Melon. The Mango Fantasy was delicious as it so no additions were needed. The fresh grapefruit bits were definitely a nice surprise if you're a grapefruit fan. The Dirty Boba reminded me a lot of a brown sugar milk tea type drink, but with a creme brulee finish on top. The Milk Tea with Taro was perfect for me since I'm sensitive to sweet drinks and treats. There's plenty of free parking available. They also have a bathroom you're able to use. So don't miss out and check this place out! read more
