What better way to celebrate my 1000th review with a reputable business like Feng Cha Teahouse? I first tried their Las Vegas location years ago then frequented their Costa Mesa location and then their Buena Park location. I've only tried two different drinks out of all my visits but have stuck with one particular one that I really liked every single time. I got their Kiwi Basil Green Tea. I usually go 50% sweet but this time I got it 25% sweet and it was perfect! Everything is fantastic including the base jasmine green tea, kiwi, and basil seeds. Got it with regular amount of ice and it was a very decent portions unlike many other places these days that go heavy on the ice. At $6 per drink, it is definitely a great price! I went in about 10 minutes after they opened and the two people working inside were very chill. Drinks were made in a timely manner and provided excellent service from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I received my drink and walked out the door. Feng Cha Teahouse always manages to hire the perfect people that excel in providing great customer service and this spot had the best employees I've encountered. This used to be my favorite place and I used to go at least twice a week but the new management must have made pretty significant changes as the teas I used to order no longer taste anywhere the same. 50% sugar is just watered down. And peach oolong really doesn't taste like peach at all. More akin to sugar water with a hint of tea. The newest Feng Cha location in Fullerton has their grand opening event going on this weekend with BOGO deals through today! The first 100 guests got a free drink, which we got thankfully! It's a pretty warm day too so they passed out ice cold water bottles to everyone in line. That was a very nice & cool thing to do for us. I went with the Strawberry Breeze, which is their sweetest fruity drink. Mixed with milk and lychee jelly. It's so refreshing and very strawberry. I tasted the Summer Melon drink and it was very good too, with fresh watermelon pulp inside. They serve some desserts too, and they all sound amazing. This place has the nicest interior I've ever seen. There is water trickling down in front of the sign down to aquarium tanks that they have under the seats. My new go-to for boba, and the desserts here are a plus. The Oreo cheesecake dessert is not a traditional American cheesecake - it's more like a Japanese cheesecake that is airy and fluffy. I haven't tried the other flavors yet because I'm obsessed with the Oreo one! The first time I went here in-person, I was having a really bad day and came here after work as a pick-me-up. I was pleasantly surprised at the claw machines in the back, and the interior decor and furniture are very modern and aesthetically pleasing. I was able to win a stuffed dog from the claw machines which helped me feel a lot better - it's such a small win but it made my day. Each play is 1 token, which is $1. The token converter is right next to the claw machines. The drinks here are fairly sweet, I'd recommend reducing the sweetness level on any brulee milk tea drink. I usually get the cookies & cream milk tea (previously called Oreo brulee, I think) with boba. The boba is always fresh, and a perfect texture and consistency. The brulee makes the milk tea so much more creamy, which I enjoy. Parking in this plaza is always abundant and easy. This plaza is usually never too crowded - a plus for me. read more

I came twice during their grand opening weekend. I didn't expect superb service or drinks bc most grand openings are a mess! But no! Feng Cha Fullerton grand opening was sooo smooth, organized and quick! I had two different cashiers on each visit and they both gave the same positive energy to each new customer no matter how exhausted and overwhelmed they were with the lines of people waiting. Management did a really good job training their team. I'm truly impressed and hope they keep the same consistency even after grand opening!
