I was a guest at this building. It wasn't my first time -- and every time I visited before, the security staff would direct me where to park as a guest. On June 8, I came again as a guest. This time, there were no security guards and no signs indicating where guest parking was. I parked in the same area I had used before, assuming it was still the correct place for guest parking. Later that day, my car was towed and I had to pay a $528 fine to get it back. When my friend (a resident of the building) registered my car, she included her phone number and email. They easily could have called or emailed us to ask us to move the car -- we would have done so within 5 minutes. We asked the guard why the car was towed. He said that the manager recently decided guest parking is now only allowed on the second floor. There were no signs or notifications about this change, and again -- no one was around to ask. The building manager ignored my messages for several days. When my friend went to speak to the office in person the next day, the main manager had left work early -- an hour before the posted closing time. At this point, we suspect this may be done on purpose. It feels like they work together with the towing company to make money off unsuspecting guests. Very shady and unprofessional. read more

Living here has been one of the worst experiences of my life. The management couldn't care less about the residents. If you have an issue (and trust me, there will be many), expect to be ignored or given the runaround. The walls are paper-thin, so you'll hear every sound your neighbors make--loud music, video games, footsteps, you name it. There is also constant barking from pets. There is also constantly children screaming at the pool, all year round by the way. It's impossible to have a quiet environment. To make matters even worse, the fire alarm goes off frequently in the middle of the night. It's a recurring issue, and has been happening since the day I moved in. Oh, and good luck staying connected because there's no cell service anywhere in the complex. You're basically living in a technological black hole unless you're on Wi-Fi, which isn't reliable either. This place is a nightmare. The lobby is nice, and the amenities are cool, and that's how they lure you in. Don't fall for it the way I did. If you value your sanity, sleep, and basic quality of life, stay far away from this complex. read more

Review of Ferranta Residential Complex I am 13 years old, and I want to share what happened to me and my mom at the Ferranta residential complex, where we've been living for almost two years. My mom has four children -- I have three brothers. My mom and I went to the office, and they told us we had only one hour to leave our apartment. It was sudden and very frightening. The manager, Tamar, accused me of stealing a computer chair. My mom and I calmly asked for proof -- photos or video. We waited for about an hour, but eventually they showed a video of another boy. There was nothing showing me stealing anything. Still, the manager said they would take me to court and that I could go to prison for five years. It was extremely hard to hear that. I felt sick, scared, and hurt by those words. My mom felt terrible too. She is raising us alone, and life is already hard for us. Being treated this way -- especially as a child -- is not fair. We just want to live in peace. I hope no one else has to go through something like this. read more

Ghp are very strong scammers, there were many lawsuits due to the fact that they did not return deposits to people for years. Then they returned everything at once for 2-3 million $. Maintenance inside the apartment can be postponed for months. People live with broken washing machines/dryers, refrigerators. At the gated parking, our window was once broken and a backpack was stolen from the car and no one compensated, because they said that they are not responsible. Our car was towed away when we parked in another place, when there was a flood in ours and we applied for maintenance many times. And all this is absolutely unpunished, I once just screamed for two hours in leasing so that they would change the refrigerator that had been standing for a month and every day they said we will come, we will come, only after the scandal they changed it. At the same time, your scandals will not lead very far either, they really do not care. The maximum they will do is what you asked, but after a huge amount of stress. Not Recommended - Feels Like a Prison I've lived at Ferrand for about a year and a half, and during this time, two of my bikes were stolen. When I asked the security team to check the cameras to see who took them, they refused to show me any footage. They just told me, "It's gone, we can't do anything." Another thing: each apartment has an electronic door with a built-in camera. But they don't tell you about this before you sign the lease. We only found out about it by accident after moving in. Management monitors who comes and goes, but they don't communicate this clearly to residents. It feels very controlling - like living in a prison. There are also many homeless people walking inside the property, which makes it feel unsafe. I do not recommend this place. Please read other reviews below to see what other residents are saying. Best apartment I have had so far. I was waiting a while for Ferrante to open but it was well worth the wait! Ryan Casper is seriously the best leasing manager I have ever worked with. As a property manager myself I know how stressful this job can be, but Ryan handled everything so professionally from start to finish. This place is a complete hellhole, and the management is an absolute joke! If you even think about asking for help, especially from Rebecca the current manager in resident services, you're wasting your breath. It's a constant revolving door. She is probably the 5th manager they had in the 2 years they been open and they keep getting worse!!! Cars are being broken into and stolen left and right in the parking lot, and management doesn't give a damn. The hallways are covered in piss and shit, and nobody lifts a finger to clean it up. Fire alarms go off at all hours of the night, so you can kiss sleep goodbye. And to top it off, random people who don't even live here are partying on the pool deck, making noise all night. It's like management is encouraging the chaos! Oh, and good luck using any of the amenities--they're all broken. It's as if they don't care that you're paying premium rent for NOTHING. This place is falling apart, and the management's response? A shrug. If you're considering moving here, don't.!! Also someone died in the men's steam room in building A and his body was left unfound for 4 plus hours during the day. Don't waste your money. This is hands down the worst-managed apartment I've ever lived in. There are over five false alarms every single month--some of them blaring in the middle of the night for up to 10 minutes. I've been jolted awake at 4 a.m. with heart palpitations because of this. I also live on the freeway side, and the noise is relentless every night. When I raised the issue with resident services, they had the nerve to ask, 'Didn't you tour the unit?' First of all, when we signed the lease, only a model unit was available--there was no option to see the actual apartment. Instead of deflecting onto residents, maybe management should question why they built units so close to a major highway and still rent out rooms on that side. I was researching and touring apartments around LA and thought to stop by The Ferrante just to simply show a friend the lobby. I thought to book a tour since we were already on the property, and my friend and I were so gracefully and kindly welcomed by Kaitlyn. We weren't expecting a full tour on the spot, but we did it! Kaitlyn is so flexible, kind, caring, funny, and the best person ever. She's so professional, personable, and knowledgeable of the whole property! I am very excited about moving into the Ferrante Apts. It is a beautiful, modern apartment complex with the best amenities I've seen anywhere. I looked at dozens of places before deciding on Ferrante. Once I saw this apt though I was sold. Amazing gym (2 of them), beautiful pools (3), a theater, karaoke room, and more amenities than I can list here. Clean, stylish, and friendly staff! Earnest in the leasing office made the application and move in process super easy and it was actually much less expensive to move in than any of the other options I had been considering. Wendsday at 3:10 pm I came to deliver a DoorDash order here. The Security was too busy having a personal conversation to let me know where to go after 15 minutes I come back down the elevator and ask where I can leave the food and I put it on the counter and as I'm walking out him in another security gaurd tried to forcefully grab me and throw me out of the building I was already leaving. I had to run and call 911 as I am 10 pound 5 foot female and two men that were over 200 pounds we're trying to physically cause bodily harm on me. The reason he tried to grab me with another man double my size as I was leaving? I asked for his name he would not give it to me and that's when he tried to grab me. I have the police on their way and I am pressing charges and I need this to be known for the building staff as well as he refused to give me his information and this is not OK that they are physically threatening small females that are no threat. read more

A couple of days ago a pedophile got into this building, scared children by showing his genitals in the elevator and masturbating, everything is on video cameras, but the security did not react in any way, did not try to help, did not try to find him, although he came in at lunchtime and left only in the evening, wandered around the floors, but the management did not care. Plus, there is no network here and even in such a situation no one could call 911. When you come here, think 100 times, because you are definitely not safe here! and in the end they were able to catch him thanks to the efforts of our citizens who followed him as far as 2 streets down and called the police themselves! I DONT HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS TO ASIAN OR PEOPLE FROM CENTRAL ASIA. They are very not reliable, I regret that I moved to this apartments. 1. THEY HAVE BEEN VERY RACIST TO KAZAKH/KYRGYZ COMMUNITY. Reason I am saying this is cause, we don't get the same service like other residents. I don't know why, but last time we have been kicked out from the pool at 9:30pm (pool closes at 10pm) for having just a music, that was playing not loud. 2. I have no idea where I can go now, I moved to my brother and his wife's apartment. They are living in 2 bedroom apartments with 3 children (one of them is newborn) when I talked with one of their managers, he told me that I can be added to the lease. Cause in the unit there are only 2 adults, so I can be added. Now they are telling me that there are maximum amount of people, and I can not be added to the lease. I don't know what was the reason giving to somebody fake reason to move here, and after telling me that I can't be here. They don't even want to talk to me now, telling me that I am not a resident. When I first moved in the building had just started accepting tenants and it was great. About a year goes by and a lot has changed. Management is no longer responsive, lots of security issues (someone's car got stolen from the parking garage, men in the women's locker room of the gym, a homeless guy flooded the building after breaking in and busting a pipe) amongst other things. I myself have emailed management about issues that I've gotten zero response. Now I'm in a situation they installed wine lockers to rent and I signed up for one and it's been a month and I've still not gotten access to it and they have been trying to charge me for two months rent for the locker without even having access to it. They said twice now they'd remove the charges but haven't. I've emailed dozens of times and haven't heard back from anyone unless I call the office myself or go down physically and even then they have no answers. read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! For a brand-new building, and for the rent price, construction is poor. You can really tell where they cut costs. It may look nice on the outside, but the inside is cheap. The rooms (especially the closets) are made with cheap and basic materials, and the walls are super thin. You can literally hear everything that your neighbors are doing... People will BLAST music here! And the alarm system is the worst. It goes off constantly, especially during the night when I'm trying to sleep! Management is horrible, especially Natalie, who is incredibly rude, arrogant, and unhelpful. Once you're in, they LITERALLY stop caring. I've been talked down to by multiple staff. The head maintenance guy is rude too. The complex smells like smoke and dog urine and poop. There's trash and dog poop everywhere, on the hallway carpets and near the elevators. The elevators are usually dirty too. The gym bathrooms can get gross, and some of the ceilings and walls look damp and dirty. The A/C units in the gyms don't work sometimes and they drip water onto the floors. Cell service is non-existent. This place is a dead zone!! Everyone complains (according to the workers at the front desk), but management does NOTHING! You can't make a call anywhere on the property! You have to go outside to the street. Those working in the resident service office said that they can't even use their phones! Why would you build an apartment complex without cell service in the digital age? Do you know how dangerous that is?! What if I get hurt and need to call 911? Save your time, money, and well-being and go find someplace better to live. Just do it. Trust me. read more

This place gets 1 star because the application process has been horrible for me. I feel as though the person working with me was a bit discriminating. I'm a woman of color and it's hard for me to get approved for a luxury apartment because I may not look like I can afford over 3k rent by myself ! I over qualify for this place and they made me jump through hoops. First they approve my application and then turn around and say it shows I make $0 on their end after sending in my proof of income and bank statements !!! After calling and calling because they never seem to answer the phone to check up on my application , They told me I now need a guarantor. I tell them that's cool I have one on deck. Then they started asking me questions like how is this person related to you. Are you sure they can make the rent (this is someone who over qualifies as well on paper) just for them to not email them the info to sign as my guarantor and told me I have until tomorrow or they're going to throw out my application ! I'm so irritated. The building is BEAUTIFUL. Amenities are perfect. But tbh I feel like they have a certain look they're going for as far as residents and i don't fit it apparently. It's funny because no one is renting these units because of the process I feel like. It's very strict. And they don't allow pets just to throw that out there for anyone who has them. You'll constantly get SUPER LOUD FALSE FIRE ALARM !!!! So annoying!!!!! Sometimes in the middle of the night or early in the morning! And not only that, it's also super not safe - what if there would be a REAL FIRE??? Cause we all ignore it already. 3. Super rude maintenance guy, same guy, like he has a grudge against me, or just hate all humans! 4. If someone took your parking spot, they will do NOTHING !!!! They just don't care! 5. LATCH is not working properly!!! I hate the system, I'd rather have regular old school keys. Cause if you'll accidentally lock your phone inside of the apartment, it's hard to get help, and impossible if it's non business hours, and they will try to charge you for that. 6. If you are a Light sleeper NEVER EVER get an apartment that faces FREEWAY, it's terrible. I have constant MIGRAINES now. 7. Dog owners let their dogs pee indoor just on the first pillar right out of the elevator 8. No phone service on the parking of the FIRST FLOOR, it's not even underground! Why I need to waist MY OWN TIME to go outside or upstairs to make a call. 9. Don't believe all the 5 stars, they will insist you to put the review right after you move in.
