I've been living here for a month now and have really been enjoying it so far. Amenities and staff have been amazing. Any maintenance that needs to be done is dealt with quickly. Earnest was my leasing agent and was stellar throughout the whole process. My only complaint is that access is handled through the Latch app which half the time doesn't detect when you're trying to open a door. Wish I had a fob but I'll look past it cause everything else has been great! read more

Hello We checked into the best apartments we've seen in LA. My wife and I looked at more than 24 apartments, so I know what I'm talking about. I am delighted with the manager Kaitlyn; this girl helped us fill out all the applications and documents for check-in. This is the only manager who showed all the available rooms and allowed us to choose the best price. We contacted Caitlin for any building issues and she responded very quickly, within an hour everything was resolved.. There was a small drawback during the application process but we are so grateful that Sandy and Nino at the leasing office were very resourceful and they helped us get through it and finish her application. If i could give 0 star i would. They are not even worthy of 1 star. I moved her March of this year, Earnest is an exceptional no doubt about it he's very nice, knowledgeable and help me look for a unit that would fit for my family. But once you're in and moved thats where all the problem arises and unfortunately nothing was addressed. Or nobody will even try to talked to you or help you with your concerned. Just for the resident service alone, Good-luck talking to someone in person or via telephone. Nobody answers the telephone. As in NEVER! I remember back then i just have a general question tried calling multiple times throughout the day nobody picks up. So i have to wait till weekend so i can go to the office to talk to someone since they are already closed when i get home from work. Complained to them about people driving in the garage like they were racing! Almost got hit in the parking lot coz another resident decided to drive fast and recreate a tokyo drift stunt! Showed them the picture of the car and licensed plate but of course people are still driving way beyond the speed limit in the GARAGE PARKING LOT! Second, they posted in each elevator regarding parking in proper spot for resident and visitors and for handicap people to always hand the handicap licensed card on the dashboard and guess what people still keep parking in the handicap spot without handicap card or sticker and of course nobody is checking it even the security. Especially in P1 handicap spot there will always be lots of car parked in there without the proper sticker or plate. Animal poop and urine everywhere in the building, and hallway or elevator would be smelling weed. Also reported an incident that during midnight some pucks played with our doorbell and rang it multiple times at 1am and ran as fast as they could. I called the security but they say they cant figure out who it might be since they don't have camera in the hallways only in the elevator. People still leaving their trash in the hallway in-spite of multiple emails and announcement to throw trash to proper designated area. People are not taking it all seriously since they know management will not do anything they are just all "TALKED" but no action. "They will just send emails like don't do this or that or else you will violate lease condition" but its still happening since nothing were being addressed or taken actions. Good-luck relaxing after work or try to get some sleep, fire alarms here is a constant event its part of your daily living you just got to get used to the noise. When i say everyday it's literally everyday! And anytime. I don't know why the fire alarm is always triggered in this building, even with multiple complaints it's still an issue up to this day. And when the day comes hopefully not, that its an actual fire! People will not taking it seriously since fire alarm here is a constant problem and they will just send you an email about false alarm and sorry for the inconvenience. For short you cant talk to someone here for your concerns and complaints. And since moving here theres NOTHING LUXURY IN LIVING HERE! NONE! I just cant wait for my lease to end, i cant wait to move out! read more

First of all, this is a real review. I just moved into Ferrante last weekend and so far the experience has been really professional. I've lived in the Art District for the past 9 yrs which has hardened me to all the usual noise and commotion downtown LA is infamous for. I've been looking for a 1bd in and around the area, to include Koreatown and surrounding areas, and this place is by far the best I've seen in terms of not only the amenities but also just finally having some peace and quiet (very important to me since I work from home). I just hope it stays this way. Judging from all the existing residents I've ran into, they all seem to be professionals and young families who care about the peace as well. The building is practically brand new and having Samsung appliances is a nice perk for sure. Whatever issue I had during and after the move-in, all the staff (shoutout to the staff) have been quick and willing to get it resolved, which is very pleasantly surprising. The one complaint I have (gotta have a complaint or it won't feel like a real review) is the lack of natural light in my unit. Since I work from home, having a well lit work area is important and I don't want to have to have my lights on throughout the day. I guess I should've taken it into more of a consideration before signing the lease but the leasing manager implied that there might be a way of moving units if something opens up so we'll see how it goes. Speaking of leasing managers, talk to Nino or Sandy if you're interested in Ferrante. PS. The entrance to the main lobby is sick. read more

I would have given zero stars if I could. This place is a joke. A pig in lipstick. A dive bar masquerading as a michelin-star restaurant. The facade may be shiny, but just beneath the surface lurks a nightmare. My partner and I lived here for a year and a half and from the very first night we moved in, the glittery veneer began to peel, revealing an endless pit of garbage. On our very first night, the fire alarms in the entire building went off in the middle of the night. The building had just opened and what little tenants had moved in were very confused. We vacated until the alarms stopped. Little did we know, this would be a repeat occurrence for the entire duration of our lease, violating the implied covenant of quiet enjoyment under California law. The alarms would go off at all hours of the day and night, and when we told management, they did NOTHING. We explained that it was a "boy who cried wolf" situation, that the alarms went off so often that no one vacated the building because it was such a regular occurrence, meaning that we could all burn to death because we would never know what was a real emergency and what was just another false alarm. Each time, management would create some ill-conceived excuse, suggesting that someone vaping in the stairwell or microwaving food in the lounge could set off the alarms for the entire building. The alarm system was obviously faulty, as evidenced by a panel in the parking garage with blinking ERROR lights all over it. But management doesn't care about the safety of their residents. They are too cheap and incompetent to do anything about it. The pools and hot tubs would be filthy, more often than not. Management said they were being cleaned regularly, which was an obvious lie just looking at the state of the water. Our locked bike was stolen out of the parking garage because the gates were left wide open and the alleged 24-hour security was nowhere to be found. When we reported it stolen, the people in the office could not have been ruder or cared less. They took no responsibility for the theft of our property, which was entirely their fault, and they were not remotely helpful in accessing the camera footage or working with the police. They couldn't even do the bare minimum. Someone higher up at GHP corporate did give us a small rent credit, but it didn't come close to reimbursing the cost of our stolen property. Except for Earnest in the leasing office, every single person from the office staff to the security were rude to us and our guests. We were told multiple times that packages of ours were not delivered, but when we went to look for ourselves in the package room, there they were, implying that the staff didn't even bother to look. The move-out policy was intentionally unclear and misleading and the office staff were once again avoidant and unhelpful when we attempted to contact them about it. The manager, Natalie, even blocked my emails when all I was asking was for our security deposit back, which they illegally withheld from us. Per California state law, your landlord must return your deposit within 21 days after you move out. If any deductions are made, the landlord must give you a written explanation of all deductions, and they must issue a refund of the remaining balance. Of course, the brilliant minds in the office at The Ferrante think they are above the law and made the move-out paperwork intentionally unclear so that they could charge us a bunch of made-up fees and essentially steal our security deposit. There were countless other incidents while we lived there, including one of the security guards smoking weed in the bathroom, a homeless man getting naked in the lounge, and neighbors getting away with having their balconies covered in dog feces and trash. You'll see per the inevitable reply that this management company tries to gaslight tenants into thinking they did something wrong, when in fact, they are the ones who regularly break laws and have not an ounce of respect or compassion for the people who live in this deathtrap of a building. read more

My boyfriend signed the lease with help from Ernest ( the best leasing agent!!) about 4 months ago and so far, we've had so many great experiences. I come over all the time as a guest and they have such an organized guest parking protocol that I can easily control on my phone. Since the building is new, they take such great care to keep it looking fresh and nice. The security is there 24/7 to help with any issues as well, and things get taken care of almost immediately. The amenities include the pool, gym, volleyball court, lounges, and a game room! It feels like a luxurious hotel. read more

Please beware other residents are not mindful! Been a resident for over a year decided to upgrade and stay with the community. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!! Not sure how I didn't catch on to when things began to downshift but definitely not worth the price of rent! I have been requesting for my balcony to be power washed as a resident above my unit is letting their pet who I might add isn't registered pee onto my balcony for more than a month! When my "work order" was processed to have the balcony power washed the maintenance man came with a bucket of water and simply dumped it over the pee. Have been emailing the RSO which I had gotten response at first from staff but when requested to escalate the issue to the community manager due to the unsanitary conditions to either transfer unit and/or terminate my lease as I have a child with a disability I've been ignored which is even more frustrating! Volleyball court/fire lane are full of pet urine and let's not mention cigarettes and the cigarette ashes in the plants all around the buildings. The amount of spiders there is alongside with other bugs is ridiculous as pest control supposedly does their job. Ceilings are extremely thin, even with "high ceilings" I hear every single foot step from the unit upstairs and every door being closed. Material in apartment is extremely cheap you cannot clean a stain on the wall without the paint coming off! Been out of my first until for about 5 months told the office to remove access to that apartment and I to this day I have access to it which is a little scary as someone had lived in it after me. Seems like the office didn't care for the privacy of the tenants. Seriously don't recommend this apartment complex! For a luxury complex you'd expect it to be maintained on a daily. My first year living on the community was great now I hate it! I regret upgrading and wish I could have taken my money elsewhere. PLEASE LOOK INTO OTHER APARTMENTS!!!! read more
