We've been going to Ferraro's since it opened, it is our favorite date night dinner spot. The food is great and the servers always attentive. My husband grew up in Italy and loves their food, especially the seafood fettuccine, which is served with the steamed open clams...very traditional and the way it's supposed to be. There are no bread sticks but you receive warm sliced bread with garlic butter...very good. Everything we have ever ordered was fresh and tasted homemade. We've tried Ciao Mambos, Italian Kitchen, Luigi's and Angelo's in CdA.....Ferraro's is comparable with the quality and taste of their food, but a better value. read more

Not good at all. Chicken was obviously some precooked product that was reheated. Alfredo sauce was bland and tasted like it came out of a jar. The singing waiter was cheesy and it was hard not to laugh at him. This place needs a visit from Gordon Ramsey stat! read more

I'm an Italian who grew up eating grandmas sauce on both sides of my family. Ferraro's makes a good sauce, anyone who says otherwise, doesn't know sauce...sorry non Italians! This isn't the dark old school Italian atmosphere, but it's clean and very friendly. Looking for a good dinner, not a lot of hype and no long lines...Ferraro's is great. Try the Sapgetti and Meatballs; very good, made with beef and prok, just like my grandma used to make. We will continue to support Ferraro's! If Ferraro's reads this, it would be great to add antipasta to the appetizer menu and start using glass rather than plastic for beverages...cheesy - I want my cheese on the sauce! read more

We are new to the area and we went to this restaurant on a Groupon. Would not have known they were there otherwise. The prices of their food were extremely reasonable for what you get. The mozzarella sticks are to die for. The atmosphere is very common but the food is above average. The staff was super friendly, nice, patient but it did seem a little under staffed. There was ample parking in the parking lot for disabled customers. There are two locations one on division and one on Sprague. Both are convenient locations. We will definitely go back to this restaurant read more

My daughter suggested we meet at Ferraro's to celebrate my husbands birthday. She had been there a few weeks ago and found it good. So I called the rest of the family and eight of us were able to go last Saturday night. I thought it a cross between Tomato Street and Olive Garden. It's decor resembles Tomato Street, although it's brighter. It had the same red checked vinyl table clothes. The wine list was sparse but we were able to bring in our own purchased elsewhere with a corkage fee of $10. That's a little steep but at least we got the wine we wanted. A couple of us had the lasagne and LOVED IT! Two others ordered Chicken Fettucine which was also real good. They had vegan dishes for my grandson and the minestrone soup was best ever. I think they will be around for a while. They're good! read more

I agree with one of my fellow reviewers. The restaurant is all flash using big words like "family recipes" & "authentic italian cooking." Very disappointed. We've waited for a good Italian restaurant in the Valley for a long time and this is what we get? Nice atmosphere, good server, but the food came up short. It should be called "The Pasta Shack". They don't offer pizza! What's worse is that they don't serve fresh shredded Parmesan - only grated cheap stuff! What a disappointment. I guess we'll have to drive the extra 1/2 hour to go to a good Italian restaurant like Luigi's or Tomato Street. The soup was bad. The bread was dry. I felt sorry for the server. Guess there will be another abandoned restaurant on Sprague soon - too bad. It's like a "Chucky Cheese" for Italian food. I'm sure children would love it. read more

Disappointment. No other way to express how my lady and I felt after eating at Ferarro's. We both love Italian (she is Italian) and were looking forward to our visit. The interior is spacious...cold....not warm and inviting like you would expect of a local authentic italian joint. The food was a major disappointment. "Bread sticks" were slightly dry, poor tasting and generally just bad. I ordered the "specialty of the house" and Gina the Seafood Fettucini. Both were mostly boiled noodles with little flavor, zest, nothing. Seafood was not fresh and virtually absent from both dishes. Overall quality was flat out bad. I saw another reviewer said they could cook better at home...I agree; with little effort we would do far better at home. There is really no excuse for this and unfortunately, I guarantee they will be out of business 12 months from now unless something changes with thier menu and food quality. I support and patronize local small businesses whereever possible. But Ferrarro's is not putting out a product worth paying for at present, and they only have themselves to blame for that. read more

Great service, friendly, fast. Salad and bread good, steak alfredo ok, but the chicken marsala was beyond terrible. Chicken cut into strips and not pounded, 2 or 3 tiny maybe canned mushrooms and they added sun dried tomatoes????? Sauce didn't taste like marsala, just a little of alcohol. Very bad dish. read more

We've been here twice now and have had great experiences both times. It's an affordable family friendly restaurant and that's what they do best and who they appeal to. It's hard to to find an Italian restaurant that isn't stuffy and overpriced with small portions and we were so lucky to find this one. We were in town for Bloomsday and the Ironman so were looking for a place to carb-load and relax and this was just the ticket. Salad, Bread and yummy spumoni ice cream accompany your entree and we've had really great service both times. They even have a server that sings the whole time and its quiet and soothing, not overbearing and weird. We had the seafood fettuccine, spaghetti with meat sauce and the manicotti. All great choices. If you are looking for an affordable family friendly Italian restaurant with good portions- this is your spot! read more

Our bill was 27.00 and I felt ripped off. We were hungry, after reviews I was concerned but went ahead. Believe the bad reviews..... It's true bad food. Ordered the spaghetti & meatballs. We picked up the order. Tasteless, small portion. The Greek cheese spaghetti was oily again puny portion. What's upsetting is the lack of love in the food. That's what Italian food is ....... Care, love attention. Do not waste your $$ on this joint. Go home, boil water, add pasta & open a jarred marinara sauce & add meatballs from the Safeway deli. It'll be better. My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. This place has gone downhill quick. My wife ordered a dish she has been ordering since we started coming here and it was missing artichoke hearts and flavor. When it was brought to the attention of the waiter she was brought a cold dish of artichoke hearts that looked like they had been drawn out of the kitchen sink. This was after dessert was served and before the check. If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. We will never be back. read more

Best Italian restaurant in Spokane, bar none!! We usually go to North Division location but both are same owners. The Marinara sauce is "Perfection" Italian sauce at its best. They take the time and effort to make this destination a must for locals and visitors alike. Don't waste time trying out other establishments here, we have been to all still come back to Ferraro's. The dinner's include soup, salad, bread and desert...all inclusive with most entrees. Price, service and great food. read more

Initially, I was a little concerned to try Ferraro's based on a couple of reviews on this site, but my granddaughter wanted to eat Italian so we gave it a try. I took my family (party of 10) to Ferraro's for the first time last night. The food was EXCELLENT the atomosphere was very pleasant, fun and enjoyable. . I'm so glad we went here. I certainly will be back again for the great food and the family atomosphere. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. The singing waiter was an added treat. I had the special and it was so good. Ferraro's is on-par with "The Old Spag Fact." It is a three meal ordeal and the Spamoni is solid. The food is good, but a little pricey. Their service is average at best, except for the "singing busboy" who will literally wipe tables, refill waters and sit people while singing "What a wonderful World" or "That's Amore" into a wireless microphone. He deserves a raise for sure. read more

Ferraros serves good standard Italian food. I was looking for a restaurant for a soccer team and couldn't find anywhere else in Spokane that was reasonably priced and took reservations. I was unsure about making reservations at Ferraros after reading the reviews but didn't really have a choice. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by Ferraros. They gave us a private room, the waitress was wonderful and very patient. The food was good and reasonably priced. Everyone enjoyed their meal. It is similar to olive garden but with a less "chainy" feel. It is a great place to take a group-- everyone can get something they like for a reasonable price. Thank you Ferraros! read more

This is my go to spot when I'm in town to see the family. I love their spaghetti...I haven't ventured much beyond that but my husband gets the spaghetti and meatballs and loves it too. The waiter sings....all you can eat salad and bread....and spumoni after your meal. For the Spokane Valley it's as good as it gets. read more

Can't believe this place has 4 stars! The food is less than mediocre and leaves a lot to be desired. I have given this place quite a few chances being that it is a local establishment, but I just can't stomach it anymore. The quality of the ingredients is terrible along with the atmosphere and menu choices. The dude playing the piano is also an atmosphere killer as it is too loud and hard to have a conversation with your groupl I wish the Valley had better choices for Italian food, guess I will continue to drive downtown for dinner. read more

Not even close to the quality of the Old Spaghetti Factory. More money than it is worth. Salad was obviously straight out of a bag with olives and pepperoncinis added covered with what tasted like Kraft italian dressing as if they were trying to be like Olive Garden but didn't want to go to the effort of making it taste good. Seafood fettuccine was frozen Marie Callender's quality except there were clams and shrimp added. The servers were friendly but not extraordinary, similar to going to Applebee's. We came to the conclusion that "home made italian" means you are better off to stay home and make it yourself. If you are too tired to boil water and open a jar of sauce and happen to have around $40 per couple you'd like to waste then this may fit the bill. I do like this place. We go here often. When they are busy, it does feel like you have to wait somewhat more than you should, but other than that, the italian food is great and I think it is priced reasonably. The kids like it a lot. I love Italian food and that is why it's so hard to live in Spokane. I was so excited when Ferraro's opened but had my doubts since no Italian place has made it in the valley. Lets start with the soup and salad. the soup was nothing but broth and bland. The salad tasted like it was tossed with vegetable oil (not even olive oil...that might give it flavor) and that's it. The bread sticks were OK but they might want to take some advice from Little Caesars Crazy Bread( hee..hee..hee) For the entree I always order spaghetti with meatballs and Italian sausage the first time I go to a new Italian restaurant. If they can't get that right then they most likely don't have a clue of what they're doing. If you are one of those people who think Olive Garden is great Italian food, then this review is not for you. The spaghetti sauce was definitely not a secret recipe passed down to generations from the old country. The meatballs couldn't have been homemade. Just a little of advice...."Homemade" doesn't mean heating up pre-fab food. Where did all the good Italian places go like Rudolfo's and the old Mamma Mia's.
