    Michael was our waiter. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food on the menu, and made great recommendations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in the outdoor area because we brought our two dogs with us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had lasagna, and my wife had linguine with prawns. Both were very good. Perfectly cooked and very tasty. This just might have been the best lasagna I've ever had. There was too much food for us to eat, so we brought some home for lunch the next day. I'll be back to eat here again.

    Good God, this place is amazing! I was visiting Spokane for two nights and ended up coming here for dinner both nights. As amazing as the entire menu looks, I had the very original, delicious, and perfectly prepared Chicken Formaggio (basically their version of chicken parm++). Hannah was my server and she was amazing attentive -and SMART enough before I ordered my meal to ask me if I like gorgonzola cheese (which I don't!). The meal was tasty, delicious, moist, every bite packed with flavor. A little on pricey side, but you get what you pay for here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Incredible food, great service, yummy drinks, central location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would go here again!

    Hannah was our waitress on 9/9/24. I've lived here in Spokane for 47 years and this was my first time at Italian Kitchen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio seating is my first impression & I like it, but it's too hot outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is remarkable![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was great, the service was perfect, and the overall experience was ideal. I can't wait to visit again.

Would recommend the chicken formaggio over the dish I got because that one was 10/10 for flavor!

    All the staff were super kind, came in with a party of 10, they didn't have any tables that large but they still accommodated us and let us all sat together and have separate checks. They serve bread along with olive oil and vinaigrette sauce, they gave us a lot to accommodate for the busy night, which we really appreciated. I got the spicy seafood puttanesca. Not really spicy, but lots of seafood and super rich and flavorful.

    Experience was amazing! Everything we tried was rich and delicious. Our waitress was very friendly! Even reheating my leftovers, there was not a bunch of oil. Highly recommend!

    Fresh Manila Clams 2.5/5.0 Taste: very salty from the start. Great spices but the salt was overpowering. I'm not sure how they expected me to enjoy it. I think adding the prosciutto is a miss because the sauce would have been as good without it. When you have something like prosciutto that is already full of salt, there's no reason to add so much salt. It pairs well with bread. There's a strange after taste that I cannot place. Sausage Ravioli: 2.0/5.0 Not bad.. Definitely lacking in flavor. I have to say, I have had better from restaurant not claiming to the authentic Italian. Spicy Seafood Puttanesca: 3.0/5.0 every bite felt like I was taking a bit of sand which tells me that the scallops were not cleaned well. Overall, it was not bad, but I'm struggling to find the taste of the red peppers. I had one ravioli and one bite of the "spicy puttanesca. Would I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is interested in experiencing a true Italian restaurant? No. The food was not good at all. The service was great, the atmosphere is nice and a long. I spent nearly $100 here and did not take any of the left overs hope and I ate very little. I'm happy that they have a loyal customer base to keep them in business, sadly; I will not be one of them. As always, my review is not personal. It's based on my experience and I want to others to make an educated decision.

    Overall it was a decent experience but I think the food lacked flavor for the price that it cost. Service: was amazing and our waiter checked up on us several times to top off our drinks or just check in on us. Forgot his name but a tall young man which went to Eastern or is currently enrolled. Great environment with plenty of seating indoor or outside. Food: the week before I had went to an Italian restaurant in another city and had the same dish which was spectacular. So when I had this dish that was more or less flavorless I was a bit upset to say the least. My friend enjoyed his seafood pasta and said the scallops were cooked perfectly though. On another side note I ordered a Sierra Mist and it was either really watered down or completely flat. There was no carbonation bubbles and I took sips between my water and "Sierra Mist" with very little difference. Overall it was decent but I probably wouldn't eat here again if given the choice.

The agnolotti was well made and rich, though a touch on the sweet side for my taste. The Brussels sprouts were fine, but the mild jalapenos caught me off guard. My friend had the chicory salad and really enjoyed it. In hindsight, I wished I had gone with something a little lighter too. Since finishing chemo and radiation for my breast cancer, food has been an interesting experience for me, so when I want something, I go for it immediately. I will note, if you're interested in trying Sorella, BOOK A TABLE! We were able to snag seats at the bar, but even on a Tuesday, this place is in demand, and after enjoying our meal, I can see why. When we walked in, we were stunned. Beyond the natural light flooding into the roo,m there were gorgeous deep teal walls with a gallery wall and gold accents. The bar was adorned with gorgeous counter tops that had low lights, and a mix of velvety chairs gave it a soft luxe feel. The aroma of the food was lightly sprinkled throughout, and the décor were simply stunning. It would be a great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, date night or just a casual moment with friends. A full menu is available at the bar and the staff was incredibly attentive - more details on our experience are below, after the food review. Now let's talk about what we ordered. We got the Focaccia (of course), Arancini, Dante's meatballs, the Cesare, the Limone and a Pasta Speciale. Focaccia - 10/10 I love when food tastes as good as it looks. The focaccia melted in my mouth and carried so much flavor on its own. The whipped brown butter was such an excellent addition and truly a masterpiece to add to it. I could have easily ordered two more (and I should have). Arancini - My rating 7/10, My wife's rating 9/10 The presentation was beautiful on this dish. My rating centers around my taste buds not aligning with the flavor profile, and not really knowing what to expect. I find myself preferring a stronger, almost cheesy flavor now, and this was a bit more subtle. My wife, however, fully enjoyed them and loved the flavor they carried even without the sauce. Dante's Meatballs 10/10 Spectacular, give me 12! These were so delicious, the meat was so flavorful and the sauce, WHEW the sauce was delicious. Yes, we did dip the focaccia in the sauce. Cesare - 10/10 I love a good salad, and Caesar is my favorite. At other restaurants, I find myself wanting more dressing or more flavor ,and I often feel like pieces of the salad are missed when preparing. This salad was dressed from end to end. We squeezed the lemon on top, and it sealed the deal. Every bite was fresh and had a slight crunch and crisp that was exactly what we were looking for. Limone - 10/10 When we looked at the menu, my wife glanced over and immediately knew what I was ordering, and after my first bite, I was so glad that I did. The execution of this dish was perfect. The noodles were thick and almost creamy alongside the butter, and there was the perfect balance with the parmigiana reggiano. When I order it again (because we will be back), I will definitely add prawns. Pasta Speciale - 8/10 I meant to snap a photo of the menu, but this was on the special menu. There were prawns, mornay, garlic, arugula and a few other things that I am forgetting. The prawns were incredibly fresh, as were the noodles, and the flavors blended very nicely in this dish. Lemonade - 10/10 The lemonade was delicious! I don't know that I've mentioned this on any of my reviews before, but I love lemonade and order it with every meal outside of breakfast. This lemonade was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Limoncello - 10/10 We shared two of the housemade limoncello shots to go as we were checking out, and I wish I had recorded our reaction. The execution of the flavor was perfect, and it definitely packed a punch! Our server/bartender was Mary Katherine, and beyond being the sweetest, she was also incredibly knowledgable of the menu. As luck would have it, we ended up sitting next to the owner's family and got to chat with her amazing Mother throughout the night (who was kind enough to let her try some of her delicious lasagna) and ended up meeting the owner. Lauren, the owner, took a pause to talk to us, and it was so evident that she is truly such a brilliant and sweet soul. She radiates, and who she is as a person aligns exactly with how Sorella feels: ethereal. Overall, we had an amazing experience, from the ambiance to the service, the conversation at the bar, and the delicious food. The lasagna my husband got was okay, but pretty typical. The steak with the yellow chimichurri that I got was not good at all. My steak didn't have a lot of flavor on its own and I did not like the Chimichurri at all. It was quite the bummer. I'm glad we finally gave it a try. It was okay, but I can't say I'm in a rush to go back.

I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Her warmth was genuine, her recommendations were spot-on, and she had an incredible ability to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. Lily checked in at just the right moments -- never intrusive, never absent. She remembered details from earlier in the conversation, kept the energy upbeat, and handled a small mix-up with our order with total grace and a smile. That kind of poise is rare. If you're lucky enough to be seated in Lily's section, you're in for a treat. She's the kind of server who turns a good meal into a genuinely memorable experience.
