Terrible service. Brought my car in under warranty for an engine problem. I had the codes and knew it was a cylinder misfire so it was either the spark plug or ignition coil. I mentioned it to the service rep but he dismissed it and said they needed to run their own $230 diagnostics. The next day, they called while I was at work so I missed it and when I tried to call back, I could not get a hold of anybody for an hour. They finally returned my call and gave me the results of their tests. Who would've guessed that it was the same code I mentioned before. They then tried to say that the repair would be $900 (for a spark plug) AND it wasn't covered under warranty because the spark plug apparently isn't part of the engine. When I went to pick up my car the next day, I only paid for the diagnostic test because I can do it myself and save $1k. They said they would pull the car up front for me. I waited outside for about 30 minutes before going back in and asking where my car was, only to find all the reps chit chatting and goofing around. They looked confused and asked for my information again and finally brought the car out. Worst experience ever, especially for a dealership. The up charging is insane and completely unreasonable. Long story short: I ordered a Silverado in June 2023. I started checking on status mid-September and found production was complete so I reached out to FHD. No response. Kept trying and finally they responded at the end of Sept that they sold my truck to someone else. How does that happen? It had my name and order number on it. This dealership is a disorganized MESS and I will never do any business with them. I am currently re-ordering with someone else but now there is a UAW strike. I have purchased a brand new 2021 Chevy Suburban in September 2021. Recently I started having issues with the Sunroof. When I open it, it gets stuck and will not open. There is no damage to the interior of the vehicle at all and I take very good care of it. I have taken it to the FH Dailey Chevrolet dealer to get this issue taken care of as its under warranty. After the dealerships review of the issue they indicated they could not help me. Their explanation was extremely vague and had no validity as I barely use the Sunroof. Mind you I spent over $80,000 for this vehicle and purchased a extended warranty in case issues like this arise. They were extremely rude and inconsiderate to this fact. I worked with salesman Hamdi and finance manager Alvin. From beginning the online pre approval process I received a call from Hamdi about scheduling an appointment and briefly discussed what I wanted from a new vehicle and set a date to come in and test drive. He was very professional, thorough and transparent about everything. I didn't feel I was with a stereotypical "car salesman", but more like a friend that was hooking me up with a new car. I wasn't trying to come in and go back and forth over the price as I knew I was going to drop some money is what I saved up for and also to bless the salesman as sales is what he's there for. The whole process from test drive to leaving out with keys in my hand was a little over two hours as we had to transfer some important DMV paperwork which was the main hold-up. Alvin; finance manager is a former veteran that takes the same military approach to closing all deals and finishing paperwork ensured we handled everything the right way to avoid me even having to make a trip to DMV to correct any errors. My service advisor, Anthony Diaz performed his duties perfectly. There are always things out of people's control but this wasn't one of those times. I was in and out of there in about 45 mins start to finish. Scheduling my appointment online was simple, once I was able to figure out which customer record was mine. (I have two that shows up when I go to schedule an appointment) The FH Daily website did not allow me to choose a date as to when to bring in my car. I tried three different web browsers with the same problem. I was however, able to schedule my appointment via the Chevy On-Star app. Would I use FH Daily again? On 5-25-21 i called to follow up and no one called me back. Today 5-26-21 Mike Wallace said the car was sold to the Owner Steve Song friend. Therefore there was no car after all and I'm out of luck. The service car service repairs is the worst ! They need better qualified technicians! Such a terrible service I have ever seen! After they had my ca for daysI thought everything was fixed and done. Boy was i wrong ! I drove out and got stuck on the 880 freeway! The car conked out and it was not drivable! I had to call a tow company to come and get me off the freeway and it cost me $185 plus cab fair $35. I had my car towed back to F.H. Daily San Leandro! My car is still there. My husband took his Chevy Malibu in for oil change ... I already think they overcharge but it's convenient for him ... but oil change and 2 filters cost over $200 ! Then they gave him this printout of "suggested maintenance" for 45k mile service that is almost $1500.00 !! Yes... it was really that much ... I called and asked ... they couldn't even really tell me WHY it cost so much or what was on it that was so expensive. .. I asked if he were getting new tires with that! The guy was unable to give me a breakdown of costs as he is not "privy" to that information. Wow! This was our second Malibu purchased there ... sales is ok ... but this new Malibu has a SHIFT TO PARK warning issue ... it's all over the internet that this is a known issue .. (so next buyer beware and do your own research!) and since it's past the 36k warranty it's $190 off the top for diagnostic! What a rip-off! read more

I bought a '19 Corvette ZR1 from F.H. Dailey (30 Dec 19) & discovered among other things the warranty was over priced. I sent them a fax and email to the finance manger Larry D, on 04 Jan 20, who acknowledged my cancellation (per contract language), but they (FH Dailey) refused to cancel the contract. It took 6 months of numerous phone calls, emails, faxes, contacting Chevy Customer Service, the BBB, California Dept. of Insurance, AMT Warranty Corp, GM Financing, & the New Motor Vehicle Board, before they finally acquiesced & credit my GM account. The day I advised them I was cancelling the sales manager left a message saying "we had a deal" and that was the basis of the price/financing, which is contrary to the contract wording. This place is a joke. Took them 2 months to fix my vehicle. They dropped the ball several times. The service tech was clueless and gave me bs answers anytime I called asking for an update. When I finally went to pick it up the porter brought my vehicle up I noticed my registration and insurance on the floorboard. Once I got a good look inside I found that the entire interior was ran-sacked. I was told I would need to wait for police to come to do a report. The service tech said they have a rash of breakins. One star for the overall dealer. Bought a used car on 9/05. It had been traded in & they didn't have time to inspect it to certify it. They anticipated a week in finishing it. Few days went by, they say they need new tires. Ok sounds good. Another week goes by, so I call. Then they say backordered part won't be in till Mid October. Called and spoke to sales manager Jeremy blamed the customer for by a car they advertised for sale that hadn't been inspected. Misleading sales. Be careful here. They will sell you a "used" car from a new-car salesman and make you think it's new because it only has 300 miles on it that they put on it as a demo. As a result, you lose many months of ALL your warranties--something that no one mentions to you. How is the average person supposed to know that? At an odometer reading of 300 miles, and the assurance by the salesperson that it was "new, just used as a Demo at the Coliseum," I expected a full warranty, not 8 months less on all warranties...from the date the dealer got the car rather than from when I bought the car. I feel very ripped off. All I asked for when I called, was an extension of the warranties. The sales manager had the nerve to offer to sell it to me! P.S. I already had to use one warranty because my one year old EUV Bolt wouldn't go into reverse. Who knows how many more times I'll have to use them. Grrrr. read more

When I picked my car up it was filthy dirty and one of their technicians had hit something in my car!!! They of course didn't tell me and just waited for me to notice. They also sliced the plastic on my rear seat. The same seat they were repairing. I have been trying to get this settled all week and no one will return my calls or emails. I had disclosed my employment information to them as part of the lease application credit check. I did not authorize them to talk to my employer in any way. I don't know how many other folks they've managed to intimidate into taking down their negative reviews, but I'm leaving this one up. Aight here's the run down. To my regret, I came to this place to get an oil change on my Cadillac since it's under the GM family. The nearest Cadillac dealership is about 45 min while this place is about 15 min. My appointment was at 11a and was told by the rep that it'll take about 1-1.5 hrs to get it done - the service paperwork the rep gave me stated that the "promised" return time is 12:00p. And now as I'm sitting here, and it being 1:35p with a little more than 2 hours later with zero communication, I asked one of the reps what's going on. I get the "you're next up, the guys went to lunch but you're up next". A little communication goes a long way. These guys are great. OK, so it's a bit weird to get a car service during Covid-19. We waited in line outside the service department, needed masks to get inside, and sanitized our hands on the way out. Having said that, it was a good experience. I came in because my Volt would not turn off after putting it in park. They had the parts in stock, and they mentioned I should get a Service Recall attended to (which I had forgotten about), as well as do the free 15,000 mile service. Since i'm not working right now, it made sense. Free repair, service recall and 15k service. That's my kind of one stop shop! When I got the car back, they had washed it, which I haven't done since the lockdown. Score! read more

My experiences here have been nothing but great since day 1. We bought a 2022 Colorado from Safi and he was soo quick and easy and was very professional with all my questions (I had tons). Also, I went to the service dept today for a quick fix and Jason Saechao was the best!! He was super speedy cuz no one has time for car appts and he made sure he was on time and really did his best to make me feel that I was a valuable customer. I am surprisingly so happy with making my decision on purchasing and servicing at FH Dailey as I wasn't sure how the service would be, but very satisfied with every experience so far. A couple of months ago husband took his vehicle there for service and was not happy with the service he received. They sent a survey regarding the service he received and he filled it out honestly. Made an appt to take the vehicle in again for another issue (safety) last week and received a voice mail from the "cashier" that they had to cancel his appointment because he had left a bad review on the previous service therefore they can't service his vehicle there anymore. WTF. Those surveys are supposed to help you train your technicians on satisfying customers, not to ban your customers from getting their vehicles fixed. Way to Go Chevy! On 09/21/2019 I put a deposit down for a C8 corvette. I was told it's a long wait but I would pay msrp. I was 73 in line. Customer sold order put in 2/4/21, built 5/18/21, delivered 5/29/21. When it's time to pick up the car I was told by the sales manager the general manager wants $10k over msrp. After waiting nearly 2 years, my own sold order that I built, I was to pay $10k over. I called a few days before I picked up my car and the general manager said he didn't know if I was going to pay msrp or $10k he needed to talk to my sales guy and to see what was on my paperwork I received when I put my deposit down. My retail worksheet said msrp and deal type was retail. Nothing about mark ups or paying over msrp. I was told the car was marked it up $10k so I would walk away and the dealership can sell it for $20k over. Very shady practice, greed over your customer. I'm a returning customer as well. The corvette before this one I bought from you FH Dailey a C7. Never again would I do business with an organization that takes advantage of their customers. I made an appointment to see a vehicle for sale on FH Dailey's website for later the same day. The person I was speaking with sent me a message and said we would have to reschedule as someone else was looking at the car. I emailed them the next day to see if it was still available and no response. I called the dealership to confirm its availability and was told that yes it was but a manager had taken the car on a personal trip for the next week. I'm sorry but this is so unprofessional. I was a paying customer and had my appointment canceled the day of so that an employee could personally use the car?? Isn't selling the car and getting it off the lot the point? I just left FH Dailey, where I bought my Impala, very unhappy. I was there to see the new C8. I called prior TWICE and asked if a reservation was needed to attend. I was specifically told NO, just come on down. I get there at about 11:30am to be met at the door by a gatekeeper, to be told that the 11am to 1pm was a private event for customers who had left a deposit on the car and the 1pm to 4pm showing was for the general public. I TOTALLY GET THAT! I'm just a little upset that I not was told this over the phone on either of my inquiries, I wasted my time, and the so called mgr didn't even bother to talk to me! I guess he was too busy! In the grand scheme of things is this big dea?, No. Am I being a bit petty and ridiculous? Probably!
