I had a small get together last weekend, and Dana accommodated us so well. We had a variety of appetizers, boneless chicken wings, potato, kegs, fajitas, veggie platter., etc. They were so delicious, down to the celery stick!!! This place is everything a local bar should be. Warm. Welcoming. Fun. Danny, the owner greeted our party when we came in and treated us like we were regulars coming there for years. He told us to come back on Wednesday for trivia night, (which ended up being a total blast). Danny had called ahead to the bar that day because we had expressed interest in going and bought us a round of drinks. The food was great. the crowd was lively. Came here after a day's bike riding with Cycle the Hudson Valley. The cheeseburger was perfect and the fries were hot and crispy. Richard was a charming bartender and host even though he didn't anticipate serveral dozen bikers showing up on a Wednesday afternoon/ early evening. I look forward to a return visit. read more

I had never heard of this place before. I was in the area from Yonkers helping my sister house hunt. We needed a place to eat so in we went. As soon as I walked in the entire bar of people turned and looked right at us. I laughed(still am laughing) because it reminded me of the show "Cheers" and I got the vibe that they were all regulars.We had Philly cheese steak egg rolls and boneless garlic parm buffalo wings to start, she had the Cobb salad and I had the burger of the month which had a jalapeño popper spread cooked rare which was awesome and the fries were awesome. The waitress (I wish I got her name) was very sweet, friendly and attentive. She was always there to check on us, and you could tell that she really cared about her job, which is a rarity these days. My sister will be living in the area soon and when she does, I will be back here to visit. read more

Fiddler's is a small town dive bar, so don't go expecting gourmet food. The burgers maybe made fresh, but everything else seemed straight off the Sysco truck. The 'crispy chicken sandwich' was a flat, pre-fab pressed chicken patty with some lettuce and sauce on top. Fries were grossly over-salted. Entree prices seemed fair, but the boneless chicken wing appetizer for $12 was highway robbery for the amount of food provided. Service was pleasant. read more

I would click 0 stars if I even had a choice. I, along with many of my friends who ALWAYS meet there, are first responders. Firefighters, Cops, EMTS. . They hired a security guard that full blown screamed in the LOCALS faces. We were there for OVER an hour and the security guard, that the owner said he didn't hire, came up to us after going out back for a smoke..he asked if we walked in the back door AFTER we were there for over an hour and a half. The security guard got in our faces(I'm a female) and was SCREAMING at me asking if I came in the back door. At which we said yes, and that we were friends with the owner Danny. He then screamed for Danny and asked if he knew us. Granted I've been drinking there since I've been 17. Danny(the owner) acted like he's never met me and told the bouncer he didn't know me. When I asked the bouncer if he worked there, since Danny (one of the owners) said he didn't, he told me I can leave right away, if I didn't give proof of age. Nicole, the other bar tender, who is ALWAYS nasty to the locals, who have been going there for years, said we were kicked out and could leave.. didn't even bother to ask any questions or even think about why the "bouncer" was questioning why someone was there over an hour, came BACK in through the back door AFTER BEING THERE FOR OVER AN HOUR. It's honestly so sad that I've been going there for over 16 years was treated like such GARBAGE. SO sad I thought I was friends with one of the owners and have always tipped sooooooo well and have been so respectful, have treated me so terribly. Who knows how he would treat a random person who would walk into his bar. This place was literally a second home for me but I've come to the conclusion..I will NEVER return due to how I was just treated. It ruined my ENTIRE NIGHT and I NEVER post yelp reviews. I will be telling my friends whom are also first responders and long time customers about this situation, and encouraging them not to return. read more

Went to this pub after a day at Tilly's Farm. Marina our waitress was warm and inviting. We had fish tacos,fish and chips and a side order of onion rings which were battered,hot and delicious. Been here for about 35 minutes and just got drinks. Well made drinks, but have been waiting on food for the better part of the hour...... haven't been greeted or spoken to by staff unless I went to them. Very much so an " older crowd " type of bar. They make no effort to enforce the no smoking rule. People are in the back somewhere smoking and you start to smell it shortly after you get there. Second time there and mouth tastes like cigarettes......again....and have a headache. Food is average pub fare and nothing special so not worth breathing second hand smoke all night. They probably should not be serving food here. When asked what was good on the menu, the waitress said there burger were the best. So, we ordered the burger, not sure what I ended up eating but it was not a burger (it did resemble one though). We order garlic wings as an appetizer which was bland and beers were on the warm side.
