Their short rib shepherd pie. I actually couldn't wait for summer to end so it was back on the menu. Comfort food at its best.

Crab cake app I usually order as a meal

Crab cake and clams for app was really good, the crab is probably my favorite thing there. Also had the lobster roll, it was really good just wish it had less black pepper. I liked the local hardscrabble apple cider too! I think bartender uses way too much ice in drinks but that can be easily fixed.

When I lived up in Putnam we used to go to croton creek all the time, we remembered Chris from Sitting at the bar all the time, really nice guy. Happy to see him chasin the dream. That said, I feel he did a good job keeping a lot of the good that Croton had. But made key improvements that were needed. When it's freezing cold out, the short rib pot pie is perfect, really an awesome appetizer in the winter. The Mac and cheese was strong, to quite strong. But the buffalo wings with lemon pepper stuff on them were awesome. Love what they have done with the place. Next time we are back up here We will be back.

Brioche French toast with strawberries - delicious, both kids loved it!

Hidden gem! Passing through on a road-trip and stopped based on the Yelp reviews. We had the Creek Sampler with the Spicy Honey Garlic wings, the Kobe Beef Creek Burger and Fries, the Honey Goat Cheese Salad and the kids got the Brioche French Toast with strawberries. Everything was delicious!!! I loved the salad so much that I ordered a second one to go! The service was excellent and the owner was great to chat with. Wish we lived closer but will be sure to stop in on our next road-trip!

And the Creek Burger was gone!!! Lol

I found this gem while going to work. I have to say, burgers are amazing, specially the Creek made with Kobe beef, wow!!! My husband got the pear salad with grilled chicken, he loved it. Beer was freezing cold yum!

Love The Creek! Best burger around, great menu. I think I had tuna tacos or something similar. Whatever it was, it was delicious.

Been there a bunch of times. Thought it was ok. The bar staff not amicable. Kinda standoffish. Higher end bar food is good. Sports bar vibe.

Blazers is a 10/10 for both food and drink…read more There are bars and pubs all over the world. Most likely of them litter the earth like wrappers from spent candy bars, a constant reminder of good times gone by. And then you get The Blazer. It is one of those places that shouldn't be there but it is and we are all the better for it. A low ceiling, low lights, jubilant conversation in the background all make for a snug setting. The bar is a seen out of Cheers with the conversation between business man and blue collar foreman flowing as quickly and easily as the beer from the tap. The drinks are cold and served quickly with a smile but it's the food that takes the crown. The menu is small but everything is cooked and presented perfectly. In all the years God has blessed me with life I have never had a better chicken wing. The Blazer traditional wing is served dry with limited spice but full flavored and from a temperature standpoint hotter than the devil's pitchfork. They were perfectly cooked, completely rendered, flavorful gifts of gastronomic joy. The burgers, cooked in a broiler style format, were fresh, perfectly cooked, delicious and of ample portion. The chicken fingers, which were each one a meal, served red hot, perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and tender within. The chili cheese dog was everything it should be and the French fries, which are a traditional steak fry cut, were incredibly crunchy on the outside and soft and tender within. Every bar and pub owner and chef should come here. This is the superlative example of a simple menu, cooked perfectly and served quickly with a smile. It is obvious that the setting, service and menu gets them to come back again and again across generations from miles and miles around.

We came as we understood the wings were the best in Westchester County... After trying two varieties, and being on a perennial wing trail chase for the last four years... I find that title difficult to believe. Wings were meaty, cooked correctly, and came well appointed with blue cheese and celery. Plus, I'm a sucker for wing establishments that provide the wooden bowl for bones. I love that. Otherwise, I found the wings lightly sauced, and kind of dry... We tried the blazers traditional, which are fried, sauce, then refried... They needed one more dunk in sauce to be top-notch. Our second order was their teriyaki wings... much more palatable... But we're still lacking. And I'm not a huge fan of wings that are not sauced in a hot sauce base. The opportunity to add a side of wasabi sauce to any wings was a welcome addition... As we needed the moisture. We did not try any other menu items, but the pub food looked delicious... And our server was fantastic. I do look forward to going back and trying to order things slightly differently... I'll chalk this first experience up on me not really strategically placing my order or knowing how to maximize the potential of a really great place. I know next time will be better.

I assumed the…read moreweather might keep people home, but between the snow and football Sunday, it was clearly a busy night. Despite that, our party of four was seated immediately, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was lively and loud because of the games, but not in a bad way. However, we were seated toward the back near the kids' area, and there were children screaming at the top of their lungs. Not the restaurant's fault at all, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quieter experience -- this is clearly a very kid-friendly spot. We started with the fried pickles. They were tasty, but the portion was quite small and the presentation was pretty underwhelming. For my main, I ordered the French onion soup and boneless wings. The soup was great, but the wings were just okay -- very dry and lacking flavor. I ordered garlic parmesan, but could barely taste the sauce. The rest of my group ordered burgers and said they were pretty good, and everyone agreed the fries were excellent. They have a large beer selection, and the beer was cold, which is always a plus. They also have games like darts, which would be fun to come back and play. Overall, it's a decent place to watch a game if you're in the area. I won't rush back, but everything was pretty middle-of-the-road -- and to be fair, the place doesn't seem like it's trying to be anything more than that.

To find it, drive up to the top (third) level and it faces away from the street at the end (furthest from where you drive into the third row). It's a great neighborhood pub that happens to have some indoor virtual golf rooms. There's a lot of space and not so many tables in the front section, which get filled up on trivia night. The service was very friendly. I had the ribs special with fries. I was a bit surprised when it came out with only three ribs. They were also pretty small. On the good side, the meat fell off the bone. The rub, if there was one, was not evident. The sauce that came with it tasted like store-bought sauce. Maybe one of the Jack Daniels BBQs. It was thick and very sweet. Fries were standard shoestring that also felt like they were store bought, but they weren't greasy at all. I'll try the wings next time. If they are not on special, they are pretty expensive if you calculate the cost per wing. Decent beer selection. Guinness comes from the can and they use the small 12oz tulip glasses. They do have a small selection on tap. Prices are reasonable, even for the specials, although the serving size is only good enough for a snack for anyone bigger than a 6th grader. Burgers seemed much bigger and plentiful from what I could see. Trivia on Thursdays is fun, although it is corporate trivia, which is not as much fun as personally tailored trivia that you see in some other places. They have lots of numbers questions or facts that no one would ever know because they are too detailed and the host generally does not understand the answers or mispronounces them. Definitely worth a visit if you are local, but don't come hungry if you plan to order a special.
