This place has gone downhill from the recent days of them being Peppinos. The menu is always changing and the prices are always raising. They took away large pizzas from the menu. What happens if you dine in with your family? You can only order a personal size pizza. Obviously they are doing this because it is a good way to make more money. The pizza tastes OK when It comes out. Nothing to rave about. Aside from the food taste, it takes forever to get your food. Next time this wouldn't be my first choice of a restaurant to go to. read more

I was there on a Monday, and they had a $10 special that included 1 small pizza and 1 pitcher. So basically for the price of a pitcher you got a free pizza. The staff here are complete assholes. The bouncers are some of the biggest douchebags I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. We waited in line for an hour, and once we got to the front the bouncer taunted us trying to make us bribe him to let us into a bar that was clearly not at capacity. We were served by some women with a nose ring and she was the farthest thing from polite. She was an embarrassment to the establishment as a whole. Terrible experience. Service is too slow. It took us 20 minutes just to get a beer menu after asking for it twice, and it took another half an hour to get the check and pay for the food, and it wasn't even a busy day. Waitress did not bring us water and didn't even care if wanted water at all. Food is mediocre at best! And burgers come with a side of small Lay's potato chips bag!!! Have not gone here since by birthday back in September but realized I did not write a review on this place. I really enjoyed how the place was very open and a waitress came right to the table help when we arrived. Now that was probably the only time we saw her until she brought out food. Great food, good prices depending on their specials and can't pass up their unique alcoholic drinks! Was nice to just have great American food with friends. Would love to give this place 5 stars but once our waitress brought our food we never saw her again until we hunted her down to give us our checks. Where do I even start? First off the waitress came 25 minutes after we were seated and had to go fetch her numerous times even when there were only .07 people in the restaurant. The food took 2 hours to come and when she finally brought me my salad it was ice berg lettuce with half a piece of Parmesan on it. She failed to tell me that they were out of croutons. We have been to this restaurant several times over the past few years. It USED to be a good restaurant. It's been going downhill fast. We went on 3/24/18 and had sub par service, horrible and I mean horrible food after waiting 50 minutes. The cheeseburger and patty melt had burger the size of a McDonalds kids hamburger. My husband ordered a pizza. We never got napkins or utensils. We had to go to the bar to get drinks. 3 of us ended up getting sick later that night and are still sick today. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have never written a negative review before but I would stay away from this restaurant at all costs! read more

This place was jamming from the minute I walked in! Greg atmosphere and sound! The place smelled of food and good times! Love the set up and can't wait for the windows to be open on the patio! This place has zero effs to give. They must only survive from people who don't want to wait at Hop Cat. Sat down to dinner at 7pm and were the only ones in the entire restaurant. Told after ordering drinks they are only doing appetizers and pizzas because they had no chef. Having worked in restaurants in the past, this is not a cheffy menu. It's burgers, sandwiches and salads. The queso was so greasy it literally would not stick to the chips, and the chips were so greasy as well. If I could give FieldHouse a less than one star, I would. This establishment is inconsistent. From having different drink prices depending on the waitstaff, to ordering outrageous cover at random. Their food and drinks are mediocre at best. Would not recommend even if it was the last restaurant in East Lansing. Additionally, I have never encountered a more miserable, disrespectful, and rude person until I was confronted with their manager Mike. He is an incompetent, impolite person. On several occasions he has been an absolute nightmare to interact with. When asking him a question he responded with "get out of my face, you're wasting my time". Tonight (and every night that I have been here) I have had a horrible experience at FieldHouse. Not only was the food bad and the service rude and slow, but the moment my friend decided to walk out the open door that Fieldhouse provided (to the patio they probably brag about on their Facebook page) he was immediately told without warning that he had to leave and couldn't return. Want that patio to be closed after midnight? No problem. Put up a sign, and lock the door. Do not surprise your PAYING customers with a rule that has no clear purpose. For once, fieldhouse, please think about the people who are paying you for your very, very poor service. Was here this past weekend, and it was a disaster. The bouncers made an inappropriate comment to us, suggesting we would not tip appropriately. The majority of us actually did tip well despite perhaps the WORST service of my life. We had a group of 10 people, all who ordered their own pizza - only 1 person's order was correct. Everyone else's was incorrect. The waitress explained that the cooks made them wrong, then later back tracked and said she punched them all in wrong. I joined the party a little later than the rest of the group, but it took the waitress 10 minutes to come over to take my drink order, and then 20 minutes for her to come back with it. The restaurant did not seem crowded. The food was HORRIBLE. the pizza was not cooked all the way through, but then clearly was sitting under a heat lamp for far too long as it did not come out quick. Worst part about that was the server never came to ask how our food was, so we never had a chance to voice our concerns about the quality. read more

Very disappointing. What was supposed to be a celebration lunch for my niece's graduation turned into a guessing game as to when we were going to get any food. I gave this place a second shot after the first poor experience. That was a mistake. This place should be great for sports - they have good TV's and lots of them, well located but they don't manage them well. During the NCAA tournament they didn't even have all of the games on even though they had plenty of TV's playing things like Sportscenter or SEC college wrestling. Or food orders were slow and incorrect on both visits. The servers also didn't know what was on tap and didn't have lists. Someone else needs to buy this place and take advantage of the great setup and location. read more

I made a yelp account just to leave a review about how god awful my experience here was. Our cheese bread took a good 45 minutes to get, our food took an hour and a half, and when we pulled aside a server to let her know we were dissatisfied, she was beyond rude. We were the first group in the restaurant as soon as they opened, and it wasn't at all busy, so there was no good reason for the amount of time we waited to eat. Not only that, but it took 15 minutes for my roommate to get her beer, which was poured and ready but just sitting behind the bar. Don't bother with this place, it sucks. read more

Atmosphere is great for MSU games. High quality TV's and nice speakers. Food is decent. Beer selection is not bad. What was disappointing occurred after the MSU Big Ten Tournament game on 3/11/16 when they cut the sound off of the post game interviews with Tom Izzo and Denzel Valentine to switch to a DJ who was itching to get his music going. The place immediately emptied out and several people around us made comments about the switch disappointed they didn't get to hear the interview. There was also another Big Ten tournament game on afterwards which would determine who MSU will play the next day, but the sound was all DJ music. I asked the manager if that's how it will be for March Madness games next week and he said yes. The sound will only be on for MSU games, at least for night games and DJ after that. Looks like the Fieldhouse needs to determine if they're a sports bar or a dance club without a dance floor. read more

Extremely awful experience at Fieldhouse. We were a table of 8 people that waited nearly TWO HOURS for three salads, two pizzas, a pasta dish, and steak and fries. Mind you there were about 5 tables in the restaurant. Upon ordering apps, we were told that their number one item (spinach and artichoke dip) was removed from the menu. Finally we settled on another selection only to be told they were out of that as well. 1.5 hours later when the pizza was delivered, we were told they were out of mozzarella so used different cheese for the pizza. Out of MOZZARELLA. Are you kidding me?!?! Next, here comes the steak which was the smallest thing you ever did see. Finally 1 hour and 50 minutes after sitting down the three final meals were delivered. Interesting that the SALADS were the last meals to arrive and get this...each one was WRONG. Wrong wrong wrong. It was an enjoyable msu vs uofm game day experience, however they had it soooooo loud that I couldn't hear a thing. I went with a group of friends and expected to talk to them since I hadn't seen them in a while but couldn't without YELLING because they had the volume so loud. I asked someone to turn it down because I'm sure I'm going to lose my voice tomorrow from trying to talk to my friends but they never did. I currently still can't hear a damn thing.
