Car repair nightmare story. I had bought the car at the end of August from HGREG. Everything was fine and about 2 weeks later I drop it off here for an engine coolant issue. I am told it was a factory recall and it shouldn't be an issue. 2 weeks later I received my car back. Within 24 hours my car engine IS DESTROYED on the side of the highway. I then drop my car off here to get it looked it and they told me it is 100% an engine coolant issue and the warranty will NOT COVER IT. BMW assured me they did everything correctly in the initial drop-off. They tried telling me that the hose that broke miraculously isn't covered by my warranty or apart of the recall. So to begin repair was 50% downpayment for my brand new engine of $16,000- so BMW needs an $8,000 downpayment. I was told the rest of it could be made in payments. This was not true. I then had to pay another $6,000 when I picked up the car. Only $2,000 out of the promised $8,000 was divided into payments. Overall, none of the staff could pick up the phones when I called. The Assistant manager had no idea my car was even in his shop with a destroyed engine when I went to inspect what was going on. My car was dropped off for an initial 2 weeks. Picked up, destroyed and then dropped off for another 2 weeks. I would highly suggest not coming here for repairs. I have been to the BMW headquarters in Munich and wanted to be apart of a winning brand. This horrible experience has made me decided this is my final BMW. (all my friends and family have also written them off due to this shameful experience) read more

Love Fields !! The Winter Park location is something spectacular. I take my baby for a courtesy car wash while I have breakfast in the cafe carefully done to my personal taste from an exclusive chef. Sit on their confy lounge watch me some tv, coffee, enjoy a very deliscious omelette and little you know my car is clean ready to go and off to the rest of errands. Plus their showroom is amazing if you're looking into upgrading your current car lease to something more extravagant like their m series which the M3 are FAB!! personally i'm really looking into that model next when my lease is up with the 335i M. read more

Scammers. They told my daugter they they need to replace all sorts of suspension parts and it would cost around $6000 and we should get insurance involved. Got insurance involved and took it to some other shop. Total replace cost $900 and didn't need the insurance. read more

I have leased 2 cars here in the past 5 years. Lex and Tom were my salesmen. I prefer this location instead of the one on OBT because of the amenities. You can get complimentary car washes which includes vacuuming M-Sat 8-4pm. There is free WiFi and even made to order omelettes at the cafe in the morning. They usually have snacks throughout the day as well as coffee and soda. The bathrooms are really clean. There is a kids area inside as well. read more

I've purchased BMWs, Audis and MBs from other dealerships and always had a better experience. You have two options with Fields: get ripped off on price and get treated 'ok', or leave. I left. There is a reason Fields is the lowest rated BMW dealership in Florida by BMW owners forums (Bimmerfest and Bimmerpost). DO YOUR RESEARCH. The sales tactics are amateurish, the prices are high, and the disclosure of fees are at best unethical. You should shoot for 6% off MSRP whether buying or leasing, and I was told I was 'lucky' to get 3% off. I had to plead my case to a sales manager to get to 4%. Then I realized I had choices. Fields owns everything in Orlando and the surrounding communities so you'll have to drive a bit to find a better deal. Mine was at Germain BMW in Naples. And let me tell you, it was a 180 experience. They immediately came down to 6%, disclosed ALL the fees upfront, AND treated me like a VIP - a rare combination. DO NOT BUY FROM FIELDS BMW. read more

Don't trust this place if you value your money. They took my rotors and replaced them with ones that squeeled non-stop. When I brought them back, they refused to do anything about it, instead handed me a brochure that said they're supposed to squeel. $1700's down the drain, and the only reason I didn't take them to court was because someone hit the vehicle and ran. Was told by BMW Financial Services that I could bring a check to buy out my lease at my nearest dealership. Long story short, I get to Fields and they wanted to charge me $300 for an end of lease inspection and $895 for a dealership fee for me keep the car I've been driving the last three years, that I was there to buy outright since the lease was up. I had my check in hand but they were not willing to accept it without making some kind of money on their end. Just greedy! Fortunately, BMW Financial was able to extend my lease for 6 more days so my payout can get to them FREE OF CHARGE!! Never again!!! read more

This review is strictly regarding the Service Team since I did not buy my BMW here, but I have taken it for regular service now a few times. My service assistant (not sure of their titles) has been Chris Wetteland and he is awesome! He represents Fields well, but truthfully all of them their look to be awesome as I see them assisting others. But Chris is looking out for my car with great recommendations and not just trying to sell me a lot of extras. I appreciate that. The facility itself is sweet. Bring in my car for service at 1145. Get an Uber to my corporate office in Maitland I try to get back and both Uber drivers couldn't fine in in a parking lot. I called BMW and had to keep scheduling. Finally the driver finds me. I had service and was getting 2 tires. Well here I still sit waiting now over 4 hours. No more BMW's for me! My only off day ruined. Anthony was amazing. If I could give minus stars I would give them, bunch of smart guys there especially the used sales manager is horrible he has no idea about the cars and values , options. They lost 3 deals in the past 2 years just with my purchases . I bought 3 cars from other dealers and every time I checked with them and every time they gave me the lowest trade in values. Do not buy a car from this dealership! I was lied to repeatedly by the sales person. When I finally decided to order another BMW (what would have been our 8th BMW), they decided to add additional fees but they hid them to make it difficult to see they were marking up the car. They also decided to add 1% to the interest rate and hope that I didn't see that (BMW Financial advertises their rates online...) They think their customers are idiots and use deceptive tactics to try and steal from them. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with BMW and I will never buy a car from this location. I bought my car and not even 48 hours later decided it wasn't for me so I tried to take it back and see if they would work with me. Instead of acting like they care, they tried to sell me my trade in at a higher price and said that's all they can do and I shouldn't have bought the car. Having a busy schedule and coordinating time to bring in my vehicle due to receiving info on a recall in a faulty airbag that may be fatal. I properly requested for a vehicle so I can plan my day accordingly and was told if I just wait 1 hour then my vehicle will be ready it's going on 2 hours 20 mins later. I'm already placed in a uncomfortable position with telling my employer I'm going to be late due the issue. If BMW is going to sell faulty vehicles then they should have a strategic plan in place to resolve their issues with little to no inconvenience. read more

My service advisor while I was A MINOR and in HIGH SCHOOL (16 years old) used my information to find me on Instagram and requested to follow me multiple times and would like my pictures like a creep whenever I had my account on public. He did this consistently until I blocked him. The cherry on top of this experience was having another employee rear end my car as I left the parking lot after getting my car serviced. My husband and I have gone twice to try and test drive a couple BMW's that he's interested in buying. The first time we were told it would be a little while so we came back. The second time, the place was swarming with sales associates but we still waited over 30 minutes before a guy came and got us. He led us on a long walk to a parking garage, never saying a word to us, and walking 30 ft. Ahead of us the whole time. We were left there standing by a car while the guy mumbled something about needing keys. We were literally left there for another 15 minutes before deciding to leave. What the heck? Was trying to decide between BMW or Mecedes Benz. April was very patient and never made me feel like I was being pressurized. She listened to my requirements and was able to help me determine the best choice of vehicles for our needs. She highlights the benefits of BMW without pulling down her competition. Which I liked. She always answered my calls and texts. Even when I switched my color choice having ordered the car, she didn't fluster or get frustrated. She took everything in her stride and was able to switch everything without me feeling bad. Usually when shopping for cars, my husband has to continually tell the sales person to talk to me not him as it was my car. A small thing but means a lot to us ladies! They told me my car would be ready the day after, I showed up, told me it'll be guaranteed finished the next day, I get a call following day saying my car will be finished 5 days later, asked for a loaner to get around to work etc. they said they'll see what they can do and call me back. Clean facility, but low quality service. Was ordered a ride share service to a rental car facility by BMW while car was being repaired. Didn't give all information in order to get rental car. When called BMW from rental car facility, was put on long holds and took forever to speak to a manager. No solution was found and we were left without a rental car. BMW said they would contact us back as soon as possible with a solution. No call has been made back to us. read more

Went to look at a car late Saturday, it was upstairs so we could not test drive it. I asked for them to have it downstairs to drive on Monday. When I get there they said they had someone already looking at it and were running their credit, which I understand but was aggravated as my wife and I wanted to hold it from Saturday but they would not let us. 10 minutes later they came back and said the other couple did not get financing and we could have it. 15 minutes after we started on paperwork they came back again saying that the other people were able to get their financing straight and took it away from us. Experience started off pleasant enough, dropped my car off for service. Got a text telling me it was finished. Showed up at the dealership and was told my car was in the car wash line. I asked how long it would take and the rep said the line was 30 cars long but he would pull it out. Thinking that meant he was pulling it out to move it up in line, I grabbed a drink and waited. In the interim, the rep proceeded to complain about me and the inconvenience I caused to all the reps and cashiers. Mind you, when I walked in to pick up the car he was having casual conversation away from his desk about non-work related topics with another rep. I was finally informed that my car was ready and to check out with the cashiers. The cashiers neither greeted me nor said more than two words. Since I had already paid online, they simply handed me paperwork and pointed me to my car. No salutation or smile. I walked outside to my car and add insult to injury, it was never washed. The absolute worst BMW service experience. As a physician who is looking to trade in for an upgrade, this dealership will not be the beneficiary. There is a large variation in customer service at Fields BMW. There are a few sales people that are top notch, like Allen Fisher, but they are generally the ones who are too busy to accommodate the standard walk-in buyer. The same goes for service department personnel. But, I do think that they are a well-run dealership and definitely know the ins and outs of their models. When you buy a car, they present it to you in a private garage and take the time to explain all of the features and answer any lingering questions. Good stuff. They also have a fairly comfortable service department waiting area with a big-screen TV, wireless internet and snacks. read more

I've been coming here over the past year to get my car serviced and everytime I had come, I would get the same average service with the outstanding customer lobby options. I was actually just here to get my car serviced (scheduled maintenance) last week and I was honestly floored at how great my new service guy (Matt) was! He was so sincere in reading through my notes I left on my service appointment and took the time to ask if there were any additional problems or weird things I noticed since my last visit. It was because of his warm and sincere willingness to listen to me without rushing me that made this difference go above and beyond my expectations. After getting an update, he actually brought the service tech inside to be there with him in the event I had any questions for the mechanic. (Nice touch) I felt very in control of reading through their notes and felt informed on making the decisions on what maintenance and repairs I needed. Matt was very honest, accomodating and kept constant and regular communication with me while my car was left there for a couple of days. (VERY proactive) :) I'm so glad I continued coming back to this BMW dealership....I think I've now found my regular service guy :) read more

I usually enjoy this dealership, I go here sometimes with my mom for the free car wash. This time, was just a tad annoying. Waited 2 hours 20 minutes to have the car washed, and this was on a weekday. There were about 8 cars in front of us when we arrived. We went and had lunch inside, had some coffee, walked around for about an hour, and we did not hear more than 1 number being called for car pick up. But there were plenty of car washers walking in and out to get drinks. Anyway, we were getting kinda ansy after 1 hr and 40 minutes of waiting, so we decided to go outside and sit to see how the flow of cars in and out of the car wash was going. We saw our car about 2nd in line-it hadn't even been washed yet. Then, what really continued to upset me is watching not 1, not 2 but 5 cars get drove around OUR car to go ahead of us in the car wash. We went up to the front desk receptionist and she obviously had no idea what was going on with anything, so we just waited, and 30 minutes after that the car was finally ready. Yes, it's a free car wash so I shouldn't really complain, but time is money too. I'd rather pay $20 to have my car washed in 20 min than wait for almost 3 hours. For some reason, the weekend car was is much busier but has must faster crew running it, not sure what makes the difference, but maybe go on a weekend, or if you have no where else to be. read more

I have Car A.D.D. and owned 7 cars in 8 years - if there was a Car Buyers Anonymous, I'd probably have someone staging an intervention... That said - I have never, ever had a more pleasant experience - not once, but twice with our salesman, Hugh Hencken (407-782-4174). On the strong recommendation of a guy I work out with (thanks, Mike S.), I was able to get a fair price on a great car with absolutely no hassle. Better, Hugh was enthusiastic, knowledgeable about everything from mechanical specs to the (very cool) techno features of the car - and seemed to have as much fun selling the car as I did buying it. It was like having your kid brother help buy a car. When my husband finally decided that it was time to retire his car, Hugh was again, awesome. Not only did he make the purchase decision easy on a sweet 2014 535d, he went above and beyond in making the purchase enjoyable for my husband - including having MY car washed and detailed while we were having lunch (complimentary) and finishing paperwork. After a horrible experience at another high pressure dealership, I was wary... but if you are a female car buyer who wants an honest salesman who makes car buying easy, call Hugh.
