That said - I have never, ever had a more pleasant experience - not once, but twice with our salesman, Hugh Hencken (407-782-4174). On the strong recommendation of a guy I work out with (thanks, Mike S.), I was able to get a fair price on a great car with absolutely no hassle. Better, Hugh was enthusiastic, knowledgeable about everything from mechanical specs to the (very cool) techno features of the car - and seemed to have as much fun selling the car as I did buying it. It was like having your kid brother help buy a car. When my husband finally decided that it was time to retire his car, Hugh was again, awesome. Not only did he make the purchase decision easy on a sweet 2014 535d, he went above and beyond in making the purchase enjoyable for my husband - including having MY car washed and detailed while we were having lunch (complimentary) and finishing paperwork. After a horrible experience at another high pressure dealership, I was wary... but if you are a female car buyer who wants an honest salesman who makes car buying easy, call Hugh. Where should I start? I brought my mint condition 2011 M3 in to trade on a newer 335i. The salesman Kevin lowballed me on my trade value by over $3000 below blue book or NADA and asks me if I want to put a deposit down. I was completely offended since my family has purchased multiple cars here as recently as 6 months ago. I stop talking to Kevin and ask for a Manager. He NEVER apologized for anything but told me the offer was so low because my trade would go to auction. After 15 minutes of haggling over the phone the sales manager then suddenly decided to give me somewhere near what the car was worth. Once again nobody EVER apologized for trying to completely low ball me. The Sales Manager Saif continued to defend Kevin's BS offer by saying "that's what they go for at auction". Even after all this I finalized the transaction at the dealership where once again NOT ONE employee apologized. The finance lady had an attitude throughout the entire paperwork session. I have owned the car now for two weeks and have not received one phone call, text or email to see how I was doing. Then I check their website today and see my trade listed for sale AT THE DEALERSHIP for $32,895!!! The sales managers whole argument was that it would go to auction. Fields BMW Winter Park - Car Dealers Near Me - Winter Park, Florida

So after my key got lost I came to this dealership to get another one. I first went to the service advisor location who told me to go to another area where they sell parts. So I go there just for them to tell me it's service related since I had a warranty for lost keys. Then I go back to the service area just to have them tell me it's parts. Luckily there was a gentleman who took the initiative and got his manager to look into this. This is where it got worse. The manager's name is Matt Roberts. I don't know who he or what he managed but I don't think the people he manage respect him much. First he started arguing about who is going to take me in -still insisting it is the parts side of the dealership. After the parts guy schooled him on the actual, he looks at me and said "well at this time of day (2:30pm), the warranty people are pretty booked. I could call and get through right away or be on hold for 45 minutes" Me: "ok, can you try to see if you can get through? And if you don't get through right away we can go from there?" Him: "well I know from previous it's going to take a while" During this time the parts guy and the other guy helping me looked at me in that subtle "wtf??" Look. The parts guy actually tried to initiate the process by getting the vin number and seeing if the key needs to be programmed. He even took a copy of my registration and license so I don't have to bring it next time. I wish I got his name because he was pretty damn helpful. But Matt Roberts. The "manager". Wow. He sucked. Moving on. Him: "so I don't know how long you have but I can call or you can schedule an appointment." Me: "could you at least try to call now? Give an effort to call? We can parallel plan. And if it takes too long, I'll reschedule" Him: "well we have to get the process and the claim approval on the same day so if you have to come later, you should reschedule." Finally just frustrated I tried to reschedule with him only to be given a business card to call. "I AM AT THE DEALERSHIP MORON!!" Was what I wanted to say. But I just walked away and called - after asking for his name. To my luck the phone was busy so I walked back in and tried to reschedule. Finally they directed me to a phone to call and schedule. Maria who assisted me over the phone was very helpful. In retrospect, I had three helpful people at this dealership but the "manager" who is supposed to manage and hopefully lead his crew disappointed me heavily. This is my first time putting someone on blast. When I do I don't name unless he/she did a great job. But this guy was the epitome of a manager who doesn't get respect from his peers or his subordinates. I don't know how he got the position but not knowing the protocol of a warranty to not being supportive of a customer at 2:30 on a Wednesday is pretty crappy. I would understand if it was Friday at 4:55 but dude. Wednesday. At 2:30pm. I don't know how a lazy person like yourself got a manager position but if that is a sign of anything about this dealership, I guess I'm not coming back here. This isn't McDonald's. SERVICE CENTER IS HORRIBLE! - Took our car there because we were having an issue with hearing a noise for the push start. We took it in on Friday- they told us they could not give us a loaner because we didn't get a car from them originally- we are not from here so I don't get that notion. We spent the entire weekend without a car and the car still was not ready on Monday. We called them to complain because at this point- it was ridiculous to have us without a car for this long. They gave us a loaner for the night and the next day the car was ready. They said oil was leaking onto the belt so the belt needed to be changed. They drained the oil and replaced the belt- $1300. My husband went to pick up the car after work only to find that the issue we took it in for had not been fixed and the car sounds even worse no than when we first took it in! Also, they forgot to top off the oil (the oil light came on as soon as we were half way home). They apologized and asked us to bring the car back in stating that they would check the car out again and top off our oil. We took the car back in the next day. They checked the car out and claimed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car and that the noise was gone. We went to pick the car back up. Half way home again and we are still hearing the noise and the oil was STILL NOT TOPPED OFF. We contacted our rep Matt once Again to see what is going on- he apologized for the error. At this point we have had it and are sending an email to the BMW corporate office. And we ended up buying oil at target to top it off ourselves. Update 5.23.18 We contacted the office and spoke to the manager. We took the car back in on Tuesday, 5.22.18, to show them what the problem was. My husband had to physically take the rep in our car and drive around to point out what the issue was. When they finally understood what we were talking about, they took the car and gave us a loaner. Later that day they called to tell us that a part is misplaced in the engine and that's what was making the noise- and they quoted us $1400 more to fix! This is the problem that we took the car in for in the first place and they told us it was something else. Furthermore, if something was misplaced- isn't that something you should've noticed in the first visit?? It's not like we are taking the car to a place that doesn't know much about the car- we took it back to the dealership where they are supposed to have trained professionals specifically for this car. My husband went back in to talk to them this morning- not happy. We decided to take the car back and figure something out. On my husbands way to the office, the engine light came on!! Like c'mon SERIOUSLY! He called to let them know and they apologized and asked him to come back to the office- WE DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!! My husband is a Campus President and has to waist his time going back and forth like we have a hoopty!! After having another stern conversation with the manager- BMW agreed to have someone come and pick up the car to fix the engine light that came on after we picked the car back up from them for the 4th time! At this point, we are completely frustrated and are positive that this place DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. We have no confidence that they are able to fix our car. We are now speaking with corporate to get the issue resolved. Corporate will be communicating directly with this service center to get our issue fixed once and for all- hopefully. I went here to buy a used Nissan 370Z that I found through an Internet search. I initially went through their online sales division, which is not as streamlined as their traditional sales operations, but is still nice. All the employees, from the front desk staff, to sales, and finance were incredibly friendly. I didn't feel pressured to buy and got to the test drive rather quickly. The only small hiccup in the process was regarding financing, but they offered for me to put down a deposit to hold the car in reserve while I went through my credit union. Overall, a nice experience. I can't help but mention the showroom is beautiful! I really enjoyed the coffee bar and the waiting area. I would consider this dealer if I'm ever in the market for a BMW, based on my experience. read more

A nice dealership that offers free car washes with complimentary breakfast and lunch with a big selection of coffee and tea. I go about twice a month for car washes and the staff is always friendly. If you do for a wash, definitely bring some reading material because, on average, I wait about 45 minutes. read more

Thinking of buying a car from Fields? You might want to reconsider. I have owned or leased three 7-Series BMW's. When it recently came time for a new vehicle I contacted my Fields salesperson for a price quote on a new vehicle. The quote allowed for only a small discount off an MSRP of approximately $81,000.00. Not happy with Fields' quote and their unwillingness to negotiate a more reasonable offer, I reached out to other (non-Fields) dealerships including a couple outside the state of Florida. Fields was aware of my search and assured me they could match any price. I received an upfront offer from an out-of-state dealer that was THOUSANDS, many THOUSANDS, of dollars less. I shared the offer with my Fields salesman who asked for and received verification that my offer was valid. He acknowledged that the price was a good and asked that I bring him a copy of the sales agreement, which I did. After looking it over and discussing it with his manager, the manager refused to match the offer and would not even make a counter offer. Instead, they said that if I bought the car from another dealer they would not provide a loaner vehicle when the car came in for service. Well, they have kept that promise. To recap: I am a long-time Fields customer of high-end BMW's. Fields failed to price-match or even counter the sale price of my next BMW which was their right. Now they are punishing me by refusing loaner service....also their right. But how does it stack up in the customer relations market?By the way, my Fields salesman was very upset that his manager would not match or counter my offer. It really made him look bad. I will never acquire another vehicle from Fields. They have a quasi-monopoly on BMW's in the Orlando area. read more

I came in for a test drive, and ready to buy a car. To avoid one of the most common errors when negotiating a car deal, I refused to tell Dennis how much I was willing to spend. It didn't take long for Dennis' superficially friendly demeanor to turn obnoxious. As just one example, he said, based on his 20-year experience, he thought I was just trying to be the smartest guy in the room, and that I was wasting his time. I ended up in an Audi within 2 hours. What a difference. Audi staff treated me with class and respect and, funny thing, not once they asked me what my budged was. Third time's the charm. I've been to Fields a few times and the first two times I walked out with nothing. This time I was on the cusp of either putting money down to maintain my old car at 90K miles or put that money towards a down payment and still get a decent trade in value. Luckily, I found a Certified Pre-Owned BMW that intrigued me. It started with an online inquiry and an online sales rep contacted me shortly after to schedule a test drive. When I arrived a salesman, Saif, greeted us promptly out in the lot. We went to look for the car and could not find it. I was told that there was a miscommunication between the internet sales team and the dealership since the internet sales is offsite. The car had been on the lot for too long and sent off for wholesale. :( At that point, I was asked if I still wanted the car and if there was something else on the lot I'd be interested in. I was quite disappointed that there was a miscommunication because I was ready to trade in my car and leave with a BMW if a good deal was reached. Saif was cordial the entire time and did his best to work with me. He said he could go pick the car up before it went up for auction and have it ready for me the following day. We test drove another BMW of the same model and I was stoked. There was no pressure or any sleazeball salesman tactics the entire process and we both managed to workout a great deal. Upon seeing the car, I was glad I had not chosen another car the day before. Again there was no pressure by Saif for me to look at another car so he could just get a sale. He even drove out himself to get the car. From what I've seen so far, Fields BMW has done a great job with me as a new customer. We'll see how things go from here on out. If you are in the market for a BMW head to Fields and ask for Saif to take care of you. The Sales Manager Mike Spann is also a great guy and made us feel welcome. read more

I am a Fields customer and was partially attracted to the free car washes. This is nice, but be aware there is over an hour wait. It's good for retired persons (not myself), but if you have any type of a schedule, forget it. They count on people not taking advantage of this service. Fields isn't bad or anything, but I do wish there was an Orlando alternative. read more

It was Saturday and I need a coolant hose and called fields in winter park to check what time the part department close. After talking to the operator they told me 6pm. I ask again to make sure it will be open and she assures me they are open till 6:00. So I drive from dr Phillips area , 18 miles, spend 45 mins and got there at 5:10...and it was closed. The guy told me they actually closed at 5:00. If I would of known I would of drive over there earlier and got the part and fix my car tomorrow. I ask if they are going to open Sunday...nope! Now I have to wait till Monday, Uber there get the part, Uber back, spend 2-3 hours making 4 trip back and fore; cost me an extra $40 in Uber fee all for a single mistake by the girl answering the phone. If you works there you need to know when you departments are open. Such and inconvenient and headache. read more

I was headed home after work and one of those bad afternoon thunderstorm rolled in. It just so happened the road I was driving down was canopied by oak trees. As the wind picked up (later learned 40-50mph gusts) so did the debris, an onslaught of twigs and branches were being whirled around and battering my '12 535i. Eventually a larger branch came falling down and tagged the back part of the car. Needless to say there were several scuffs and scratches scattered all over. Called Jason Abromavage over at Fields and asked him to see what they could do. He had is technician take a look and felt pretty confident that they could buff out the pelting my car had received. It was very convenient for me to head into the shop and grab a coffee or soda while it was estimated. We worked out a date and a pretty competitive price to buff out several panels. The day the car was taken in and I was shuttled back to my office that morning and later picked up by their courtesy service, which was pretty relaxing not having to drive through the morning interstate traffic. If you lease from Fields BMW you better pay close attention to the "Disposition Fee". If you decide to take the buyout then sell it to get some of the residual value in the car Fields will charge you a "disposition fee". Mine was $372.75 for nothing other than I did not decide to lease with them again and I took the buyout and sold it. I did all this through another dealer so I never brought it back to Fields, just went to another dealer. Fields gave the dealer a very hard time about purchasing the buyout but in all I got a good amount of money from the dealer for selling it to them after they bought it out for me. Fields was only going to give me $3,000 for the buyout, this dealer doubled that. Fields is not someone you want to deal with as far as leasing goes. Go somewhere else is you want a BMW. Ferman BMW in Tampa will deal in good faith, Fields will not. Also, had so many issues with my X5 over the three years. Very dissapointed in the car itself and all the issues I had with it. It was not the ultimate driving machine and certainly was not the ultimate experience with Fields. read more

Unprofessional and unreliable salesman. Went there last week and looked at a BMW X3. A.F. was the salesman helped me. I got a quote with online price plus tax and all fees, then I left the dealership to look at other dealers' inventories. I emailed A.F. the next day with an out-the-door price that if he can do it, I will pick up the car in 3 days. Also, he was aware that I live 150 miles away and I'll be able to pick up the car if I can get the car with the out the door price I mentioned in the email. He responded by email and said ok, he is gonna go get the car ready, so we scheduled a time for pick up, however, I was there late and A.F. needed to do something, so the other salesman, Steve, helped me when I arrived. However, the price Steve gave me was the online price and I told him that I had a deal with A.F. by email. So he called A.F. but A.F. refused to admit we had a deal for "out the door price", he insisted that the price was for the base price. Therefore Steve went to talk with a manager. After a while, the manager came and said he feels sorry but he won't give me the car with the out the door price even this was caused by, according to what he said, miscommunication between me and A.F., which happens sometimes. I even showed the email but the manager insisted that he won't sell the car at that price. Then I told him that even the base price which A.F. said we had a deal, was not the right number. It was still the online price. So the manager, finally, is willing to see what he can do and give me a new base price which is just a little lower the out the door price we were talking about and told me that is the best he can do. If an email from a salesman doesn't mean anything and his supervisor won't take the responsibility for the mistake his salesman made. What kind of customer service should we expect? They just want you to be there and let you take the deal even though they knew you drove two hours to pick up the car. read more

I have left many bad reviews here for many reasons but this last service trip was the last straw. I brought my M4 in for regular service (oil change mostly) and rear tiers. They gave me an uber ride come because they don't offer curtesy cars. 8 hours later I called the dealer to find out what was going on because this service normally takes 2-3 hours and my service guy said "o it's just coming out of wash now, you can come by" When I got there the hole dealer ship was leaving for the day and my service representative was there waiting on me to go home. When my car came out it was damaged all down the side and the rep said "o that will buff out and sent it to be buffed wile he left for the day" when finally getting my car back over 8 and a half hours later I was almost the last person at the location, the damage was still visible and wile driving away looking at my cars computer I noticed that they didn't even change the oil. The paper work from the dealer also showed they didn't replace the oil. Instead they damaged the car and back burnered it till the end of the day to give it back to me when no one was left around who could help me. This is the final straw for fields and I will now be forced to drive 80 miles to BMW of Ocala. My suggestion to anyone living in Orlando who drives or wants to drive a BMW, avoid all of the Fields Dealerships if you can and go anywhere else. My last experience there I was trying to extend my cars factory warranty. After having to walk around the dealership yelling I have to money I finally found someone who could bring me to a person to talk to. Talking with the finance rep I was told it is agents fields policy to extend the factory warranty but instead would have to buy a fields warranty which was 3 times the price for half the time and miles added. I was forced to mail my Key to my parents along with the money so they could bring my key to a different dealer who would take the money and extend my warranty. I don't know if that's why I get poor treatment with fields but I'll I did was what I had to get get services offered by BMW. Fields dealerships are scams and they have made up and policy they can to further line there own pockets and operate unlike any other. Shame this dealership and it's owner. This is not how BMW dealerships are supposed to be run. Luckily for you Mr Fields this will be my last one star review because I will never be coming back so I don't expect to have any more bad experiences to follow up on. Update: went to BMW of Ocala and was blown away. Cars are 20k cheeper for the same car, the service was on another level with my adviser seeing me on time for once and all the work was completed with out damage to my car. They even ordered me Panera for lunch for free. I had a half hour conversation with a sales guy and even the GM who were both interested to talk to me just to have a conversation knowing I wasn't there to buy anything. The different was night and day and I will for sure be making the hour and a half drive to go there from now on. read more

I was scheduled for an oil change. The person I was dealing with pulled up my paperwork and told me all the work needed as part of my annual maintenance. Being pressed for time I wanted to do the oil change and schedule a return visit. This guy, tells me that I need these things done, gave me prices then said. I don't know if you're prepared to pay for this. I left that dealership furious, wondering if his comment was based on my skin color. The salesman Dennis Fergusson told me he needed Teo days to bring the car from Palm Beach. Today I called to verify the car was ready to be picked up and he told me it was sold to someone else. Where do I begin... I had my vehicle towed here because it would drive then shut off while idle. The service provider that I worked with was great. He assured me that my vehicle would be looked at then he would get back to me. Fast forward 5 days later.. I'm having to hunt for answers as to what is going on with my vehicle. " The car isn't giving any codes." Are you guys mechanics? Let's get a little dirty so we can figure out what's going on.. So since my vehicle isn't giving any codes no one can figure out what's wrong. On the sixth day I get a call stating that the mechanics had been in contact with bmw engineers and the problem has been figured out. " You need to replace the engine in the vehicle. There is a loose chain in there and if we start to take apart things it could become expensive." Ok so engine seems like the cheaper route... how much would that cost me.. "14k" Thank you for your time but no thanks. So I decide the smart thing to do would be to trade my vehicle. They would only give me a trade in value of $2,000 because my vehicle has "$14,000 of damage." Long story short, I called Euro Imagine which is 9 miles away from this location. I explained what was going on with my vehicle over the phone. The woman knew exactly what the issue was. I had my vehicle towed from Fields that day. The repairs on my vehicle WITH ALL NEW PARTS cost $2,100 as to the $14,000 that I was quoted at Fields. This place is sent from hell. read more

These guys are crooks. I took my 6 series to their service department to fix a small issue and ended up leaving with a bigger issue I've never seen before. When I brought it back, they said it was an existing issue even though I NEVER had that issue before. Of course they wouldn't fix it unless I pay for it. Cost is over $2500 worth of repairs. Not to mention the main service rep - Stewart who helped me initially lacked basic customer service skills. I felt like I was treated as a second class citizen. Don't wanna go as far as saying it's prejudice or because I was young but he had no reason to be rude to me from the beginning. I purchased my vehicle in Austin, TX while out of town for work. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I vowed to always purchase BMWs. Return home and encounter Field's BMW. The worst customer service and service department EVER! If you didn't purchase your vehicle from them, they don't give a damn about you. Nevermind the fact that I purchase a vehicle every 3-4 years. I waited to write this review until we had our car for several months to see if we bought a good used vehicle or someone else's problems. Bought 3 BMWs from Fields Winter Park. Let's just say it wasn't because of the Sales personnel!! I had a different Sales person each time-- Why! Wasn't impressed enough with the first one to give him repeat business ( commission), or the last one!! The last dude was so Shady, I won't say his name cause he's not in Sales anymore-- now in Service-Yikes!! Thank God for intuition and Good sense and a husband that is a lawyer and can call Bullshit when he hears it. Honestly, of all the luxury dealerships we shopped, this/these Sales experience(s) were SUBPAR!!!! Ok so never-mind the pervious reviews, this was the best experience at a dealer that I have had. From the time I pulled up I was pampered. Most all were helped and courteous but my rep was Ms Patti and she was awesome!!!!! I Highly recommend her and she has been there for much longer than the other service reps. I got in and out. Went to test drive an i8 and because I wasn't ready to execute the same day I was denied a test drive as they were too busy. Ended up going to their other location and drove a 2016 i8, talked to the sales manager and was given a laughable price on a lease and walked (I had already done my homework on pricing, unbeknownst to them). Bought the car from a dealer in California, who didn't mess around with pricing. I had a car transferred to the Performance Center in SC and am picking it up in a few weeks. My local dealerships have lost me as a customer as they would rather play games with the numbers than win my business. read more

Very unfortunate and aggravated. I'm not one to leave reviews. But when i call and speak to 15 different people all saying they will get the issue resolved. And continuously nothing happens. Terrible service. Parts departments NEVER answers. I ordered a pair of mats for a friends BMW for his birthday a month ago. Paid 18 dollars for shipping. Got an email saying that they were shipped. But there was no tracking number. And every time i call they say, "oh the part hasn't even been ordered." "Oh the ticket has already been closed and shows delivered". I sit on wait close to 2 hours every day trying to get the problem resolved and it never EVER does. Absolutely HORRIBLE service and aggravating to see that a BMW dealership of all dealers would treat a customer like this. Will never ever do business with this dealership again. Especially no after reading all of the bad reviews they have gotten. Maybe my mind will change if someone will actually reach out and resolve the problem, and give something else in return for the terrible customer service. read more

Don't do it!!!! worst place to purchase a car. Since I purchase my new BMW is been one problem after another. First I tray in car it took them for ever to send the payment to the other dealer. Now I have a late payment from Toyota on my credit report I been calling for them to take care of this is been six month and nothing is been done. Went I call they said they will back. They never do. Took the car for service and they told me there was something wrong with the computer in the car took them two weeks to fix it. After they said it will be a couple of days. that's not all now I have a bigggg problem with the finance department. That's it. Time to get a lawyer. I don't need this stress. Reading a majority of these reviews, I can see how there are many 5 star ratings due to excellent customer service in sales, however my review is in regards to the service department. A key note here is that I hate to write reviews, especially negative ones, unless I really have to, this being one of the few times where it was the least I could do. Here's my experience: I took my vehicle in for a driver airbag recall, having made an appointment two weeks in advance. As they took my car, my service advisor, Richard Gaffney, approached me and said I'd have to wait "a couple of hours" until my car was even looked at. That's fine, I'm a very patient person. Here's where it gets cooking. As I walked back to my car when all's said and done, I go to open my trunk to put in my backpack and couldn't help but notice a big white scratch streaked across my trunk. I pull my car around and nicely asked about how this could have potentially happened. I had one gentleman very politely understand the situation and said he could help me set up a claim. He called in my service supervisor (remember Rich from before?) Yeah, he approached me and the first and only thing he says to me, in an agressive tone, was "that scratch was already there". I showed him photos of the rear of my vehicle the day before and how that scratch was nowhere to be found, and all he kept repeating was "that was already there", making me look like a pure liar without giving me any other options, and here's the best part - HE WALKED AWAY. That's right, no "goodbye, thanks for your business", just a simple slap in the face, as if I owe them something. I don't know how a business that is centered around customer service could operate like this, and I do regret not asking to speak to management, and shortly later I was informed by many other friends with BMWs to stay away from Fields, as they ripped one of his carpet mats (I don't even know how that's possible). All in all, if you ever feel the need to go to a dealership, sell your BMW and buy a Kia, you're sure to be treated with much more respect. And here's a picture of that beautiful scratch for you guys to envy, a scratch like that doesn't come cheap from a BMW dealer. read more

I am a long time BMW owner along with my husband. I was extremely disappointed when I asked the service department to temporarily re attach an engine cover that had loosened on my drive down to Florida until I could get home. 900 miles. Their answer was I needed a whole new cover and an appoint. I then called another dealer. The Service department at BMW South Orlando said they would be glad to help and would look at the car when I could get it over. read more
