I never would have thought the best tacos in Idaho would be this place? Never gave it the time of day? Finally tried it and Im addicted! Best chicken hands down! Best char! The street tacos are great! Highly recommend this place:)

This is my fourth time at Fiesta Chicken. I swear, the food just gets better and better. The portions are huge and the price is cheap! I indulged myself with their popular Chicken Chipotle Tacos ($10.99) or as I call them, crack tacos because they're so freaking addicting I could eat them every day. Three beautifully fluffy flour tortillas piled with their wonderfully seasoned namesake chicken, fresh pico, lettuce and cheese, drizzled with their insanely good chipotle dressing that is to die for. God, these are straight from heaven. Every bite is an explosion of flavor. I want to try their other dishes, but each time I step into this establishment my mouth starts to water at the thought of these. You've gotta try them to know what I mean! My husband has his go-to as well, and it's equally as delish - the Three Piece Leg & Thigh which comes with two sides. This round he chose Mac & Cheese and Mexican Rice. Okay yeah, the chicken is extremely tasteful as always and the rice was cooked to perfection, but holy cannoli that Mac & Cheese was outta this dang world. The noods were so soft they melted in your mouth. I'm guessing they add cream cheese or something of the sort because it was comfort food to a whole other level! Not to mention, the scoop was insanely big. entire platter posted with this review was only $9.99. It's hard to find such great food for reasonable prices in Boise. This almost seems too good to be true. The woman who took our order is the same who has done so previous times, maybe the owner? She's really sweet and patient. She always thanks patrons as they walk out. I'm already fantasizing about my next visit to Fiesta Chicken. Will I branch out or succumb to my needless desire for those tacos? I better head back soon to find out.

Came here this past week and really enjoyed it. Since they don't have El Pollo Loco here (In California this is a staple Mexican grilled chicken spot) this was for sure the next best thing. I had the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides (rice and beans) with flour tortillas. Simple dish that was well executed. The chicken had lots of great flavor grilled to perfection as well as juicy on the inside. They also have a fresh salsa bar to compliment your meal and all the freshly made salsas were delicious. They in addition have lots of other choices to choose from but remember their specialty is chicken so that's what a lot of the menu is catered to. So please don't leave any reviews about they didn't have X YZ because again it's specialty is chicken. Staff here was really nice and everything was met with a smile. For sure a new go to spot for grilled bbq chicken in the Boise area.

The chicken is the star here. Marinated and then charbroiled, it comes out crisp and tasty. It's as good as anything I've tasted. On my second visit, I tried one of their chipotle chicken tacos, which came highly recommended in a recent Idaho Statesman story. It was really good, but I like the chicken so much I may stick with it during future visits. Some other reviewers have complained the tortillas were on the dry side and unappetizingly crunchy, but that wasn't the case with the taco I had. That story also increased the popularity of the restaurant. On a recent Saturday, there were 23 customers 12 minutes after they opened. On a Saturday! Better get there early. The Robles family is planning to open a second location, at the old Wendy's on South Orchard Street in April. It will have about three times the size of the Ustick and Five Mile location. Service was friendly and the meals come out pretty quickly. Great restaurant for Boise.

Think El Polo Loco but authentic!!! Outside was Boise, inside was like being in Latin San Diego. Being one of the few gringo customers attest how authentic the food is. So. 1/2 chicken & 2 sides was two meals for me. The chicken was grilled over an open flame & seasoned (lime + ??) to perfection. The "street" tacos were very good as well. All prices under $10, so great taste along with reasonable prices.

After my son recommending this place over and over we finally ordered tacos one night. Hubby brought chipotle chicken tacos home for dinner and we were never happier. They are big flour tacos. One isn't enough but two is too much for me (I'm a small eater) but the guys easier put three-five down. They are spicy! But not too spicy! Def you need to try them!

So. Much. Food. For such a little price tag

This is a very unique little joint. It has most of the traditional Mexican foods that you would expect to see in Idaho. But it also has fried chicken, homemade macaroni and cheese and the best broccoli salad. It's kind of a mix with Southern cuisine, I guess? Either way, it works! And it means that more people can enjoy the cuisine together. I've never actually been inside, because drive throughs. With little human beasts, drive throughs just get me. I have been extremely impressed with the service in the drive through! Fast, courteous and always with a smile. They also maintain their picture worthy presentation in the drive through. My burrito to go still had the same giant beauty of one served in house. We've had the chipotle chicken tacos, carne asada street tacos, green chicken burrito, beef burrito, all the sides, and the fried chicken. I have nothing negative to say about any of them. I love the chicken that they use inside the burrito. It must be pulled from the fried chicken, because it is on the drier side, which I love! It is packed with flavor. I will say, everything we have ordered has a kick of spice, so if your tongue is on the wimpier side of the Scoville scale, you might want to check with staff first.

As I'm trying to keep away from my usual fast food lunch, I've found trying to find a decent salad is not only difficult to do... healthy lunch options are expensive Friend and I went to a local eatery for lunch salad yesterday and, while the salads were tasty, I can't spend $10+ a day for lunch‍ The heaven's opened today and I found Fiesta Chicken!!! Took a like minded coworker to lunch and we both enjoyed enormous salads with heaps of charbroiled, tender, juicy chicken for the same price as one salad yesterday. Talk about getting more for your money I will definitely be a repeat customer at this amazing spot. The staff was also very friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves

#6 Combo. Currently $9.50. Grilled chicken, 2 sides & drink. One of my faves.

MATADOR DELETED MULTIPLE OF MY FRIENDS ONE STAR GOOGLE REVIEWS ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE THERE SO IM…read moreADDING MY REVIEW TO THEIR YELP AS WELL. Such weird and potentially homophobic behavior from the waitstaff here last night. (My best friend i was with and her fiance are lesbians so i am not sure whether or not the staff's behavior had to do with that or if they are just normally this rude) Walked in with a group of friends for one of their birthdays just trying to find a place for a nice dinner. According to the waitlist we were supposed to be seated fairly quickly (within 10 minutes we were told) but we ended up waiting for about a total of 30 minutes. We waited patiently outside for about 20 and then decided to step inside to see what was going on. Waitstaff had about 4 tables that they were dealing with but there was honestly probably more servers than active tables in the restaurant, there was a NUMBER of open tables while we stood at the front confused since we were the ONLY people waiting. Not a glance from any of the servers, not a "have you been helped yet?" nothing. We continued to stand there as 3 servers bussed ONE table together which was just so completely bizarre and they clearly were trying to avoid acknowledging our presence. As a server herself, one of my friends was just completely confused as to how multiple servers came up to where we were standing to use the POS system and then walk off without saying a word to us. When my friend inquired with the waitstaff about why we hadn't been seated yet, she rudely said "YOURE ON THE WAITLIST SO YOU NEED TO WAIT". We went to the funky taco next door, who had us greeted & seated immediately. The Matador will never have our business and we certainly wont be recommending them to anyone, ever. FYI Matador, this seems like an ongoing issue for you with your hosts and servers being miserable people after looking at your one star reviews so you might want to do the same and do something about it before you continue losing out on business.

With my new kidney, I had to get my own sides since I can't really share food with my friends. I got some chicken tortilla soup and some brussel sprouts. The nachos did look amazing but I knew it we going to be too much food for me. Soup was full of chicken, corn and tortillas. The broth was rich and savory. It could have been a tad warmer but it was still delicious. My brussel sprouts were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I love the sweet and savory glaze that we used! Every bite was delicious. Service was great tonight. Our server did a great job making sure our drinks were never dry. The atmosphere here is always on point. The food was fantastic as always. I look forward to coming back for another round of happy hour soon!

I've been here for almost 2 years and the BEST Mexican food I have found was in Twin Falls. NO I do not want to go to Twin Falls to get Mexican food, especially w/ the price of gas now. I was searching online for a new restaurant to go to for lunch and for some reason "Garibaldis Garden City" popped up. First, Garibaldis, does not really sound like a Mexican restaurant, but after reading the reviews and checking out their website, I am thinking why not...can't be any worse than Andrades, Chapala or Barrigas. Went in around noon, not crowded, but again its gorgeous outside, and I like a relaxed atmosphere. We sat at the bar, our server (bartender) Michael (who is from San Diego) was great. We really didn't need any recommendations because I already had set in my head what I was going to order. We started out with the "salsa flight", 3 different salsas, 1 smokey hot sauce, 1 more chunky and a mango habanero" which all 3 were very good. I loved that there was actually some spice and heat in all 3. Okay, the Mango it grows on you, the more you eat it the better it gets. We also ordered a maggie on the rocks w/ Casa Amigos Reposado and a ranch water with the Blanco. I also ordered the Coctel Garibaldis, which is shrimp & octopus and the shrimp was nice and large and the octopus was a nice size, NEITHER was mushy, THEY BOTH tasted so fresh (enough to share). For our main, Chicken Fajitas and Carne Asada....I normally do not like the refried beans here in Boise at the Mexican restaurants we have tried, but these beans tasted like HOME, LIKE MY MOTHER IN LAW MADE THEM~! The chicken fajitas ...there was actually MORE CHICKEN than peppers which is a 1st...and it was huge slices and chunks. My Carne Asada, OMG, huge amount and it was so flavorful, I doubt I could have done any better. NOW, I am a tortilla snob and I make my own flour tortillas, but THEY HAD SERIOUSLY LITERALLY the best DAMN corn tortillas I have tasted in YEARS! They almost look like flour, but once you taste them, incredible. We (he) ordered the Coco Flan for dessert, I don't do dessert so I ordered the Casa Azul Anejo....met 2 women drinking Maggies, we agreed, if we are going to do calories, we are drinking them and not eating them...but in all, the SERVICE, Food, the atmosphere, was all worth it. Will we go again, YOU BET, I may even have to sneak over for a few lunches by myself it was that good. Again, thanks Michael, you were on Point!

The menu has a few things you can order from burritos, tacos, tortas and other fun items. We ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and it has rice, beans, meat of choice & lettuce and avocado it was pretty good. We got some tacos as well and not sure if she mixed up another ordered but we were short 3 tacos on our order and that was a bummer.. I was really looking forward to them. Their asada, carnitas, el pastor were all really good and authentic flavor and loved that the pastor had the pineapple chunks as well. One thing I did dislike was I asked about chips order and it said $5 when I asked her if I can just have a couple, she was a bit confused and asked the lead there. Apparently they didn't have chips in their truck and had to go find them. That should have been my no thank you but I figured ohh let's give them a try. Once we got to our house and saw the $5 chips I was honestly a bit upset they were store bought nacho chips. Tacos are $2.50 I don't understand why chips are $5 and they aren't even like your traditional Mexican chips or something along those lines. That was my only downfall to this place but those are just chips. Their food was honestly good no doubt about it when we were ordering they had a few people eating there and a few to go orders. Maybe take them off the menu or make little baggies and purchase chips from a Mexican store or make your own tostadas..
