Fiesta Chicken is good, very good, but be ready to pay for your sauces. I usually purchase either the nachos or the taco salad. We have never been charged for the dressing, until now. You usually get dressing with your taco salad, but not anymore, now you have to pay for it, on top of the cost of the salad which is a little over $8.00. Prepare to pay at least an extra $2 dollars for the salad dressing, they are 50 cents each and the containers are only filled a 1/4 way. If you're familiar with El Pollo Loco and Juan Pollo chains, then that's what I would compare Fiesta Chicken to, except on a much higher level in terms of quality and flavor. This has quickly become my husband's favorite for Mexican rotisserie chicken. For us vegetarians, or when you don't feel like eating meat, they have a very delicious veggie supreme burrito. I also recommend a side of the potato salad. Salsa bar is great (green sauce and spicy carrots are my favorite!) UPDATE: Downgrading my star rating for one sole reason: hygiene standards or lack thereof. It doesn't appear likely that the floors have seen a mop in recent memory. I always order the chicken taco salad. It has always been my favorite. But today I was very disappointed with this chicken taco. Not only they raised the price close to $10 but they barely put anything in the taco salad. It was full of romaine lettuce with very very little beans rice and chicken. OPEN SUNDAY!!! Great, quick and easy post-church stop before heading out for a hike! If you like El Pollo Loco, you will like Fiesta Chicken. There was a time I thoroughly enjoyed EPL. Food is simple and fresh. Salsas are authentic and flavorful, but there are only 3 choices - pico de gallo, green tomatillo, or spicy red. I'm confused by the guacamole though. It is too perfect. I know that is a weird complaint. Something is up with the guac - it is perfectly smooth and has a perfect amount lime flavor which makes me suspicious. Sides are rice, beans, veggies, mac&cheese, potato salad etc. I just ordered the chicken with a side of guac. Can't go wrong. You can see the chickens cooking on the grill when you order so you know it's fresh. They also can make chicken enchiladas or chicken tacos - or you can just do like me and order a leg and a drumstick ren-faire style. Huzzah! Couple of downsides: ambiance is lacking. This place has all the charm of a converted truck stop donut shop. The complimentary forks and knives are cheap and not so great for carving up chicken, so if you do order meat on the bone, your best course of action is probably teeth. (SECRET REVIEW EASTER EGG!!) I went in to getting a meal from fiesta chicken thinking that it would be amazing, it was far from it. Not even cheaper just the same old story. I went to a college in California and El Pollo Loco is the name of a pretty decent fast"" food joint if you ask me. Their ingredients seem consistent and simple. However, Fiesta Chicken was a very lack luster experience for me. When I went inside the restaurant it seemed highly unorganized and honestly unclean. We had the charbroiled chicken with sides. I liked the food but the place is not very well run. The sauces were all gone. They were busy but only one register was open. They serve the food on plastic plates and have the cheapest plastic utensils possible. Hole in the wall Mexican place, but with a unique offering: fresh marinated and grilled chicken. We were headed for this place, never heard of before, by our car dealer rep who swore by the place. We went at dinner and would not recommend this. The tables weren't wiped. No atmosphere but if it was kept cleaner we would have the food there. The best things we had were the chicken noodle soup and the 3 and 4 piece chicken plates. The chicken looks like it is charred and it is, but to me it was great. flavorful and done on the well done side, just to my liking. Along with two sides (chose from beans, rice, mac and cheese, broccoli salad, cole slaw), it makes a good meal. You can get 4 piece plates or whole chickens. Hidden gem on ustick. Been open for a couple years now. Very tasty Grilled chicken. It has a very good char and they give an excellent quantity of it per meal. Service is pretty quick and you will not walk away hungry and if you get a burrito you will have a second meal. You will ask yourself why you haven't come here sooner? First visit of a party of three at around 1 pm 2/15/19. The place was packed and a long wait time. The only menu is a reader board high up on the wall behind the cashier. Our meal was served on ceramic salad plates with cheap plastic forks. If you have to wash the plates why not have stainless steel utensils for "eat in" customers. They can be washed together. The only trash receptacle was jammed full. The floors were dirty and the two return air vents in the ceiling were coated in greasy dust. There was "food droppings" along the soda dispenser next to the wall. We didn't see any employee clean any of the tables or empty the trash while we were there. If this were South of the border I could accept the lack of standards. If the food were that good we may have overlooked some of the defects. However, we won't be going back as there are other places to eat that take pride in their cleanliness. My sweatshirt smelled of grease when I returned home. read more

I just ordered a 2 piece leg and thigh meal with rice and beans side and red salsa (which was much more flavorful than the last time I went). Went here today for chicken tacos. Today is Father's Day and there wasn't a single person in there. I ordered 2 chicken street tacos and 1 rolled taco (taquito). The rolled taco shell was way over cooked and the meat inside was supposed to be chicken, I've had Beef Jerkey that was more tender than the chicken in this taquito, not to mention they forgot the quac and sour cream it was supposed to come with. Well, I rarely start any review this way, but this was hardly the cleanest place I've ever been to. The floor was disgusting! Looks like there was the remnants of a food fight! I had the 5 chicken taco meal and the flavor wasn't awful, but they were really greasy. My wife had the two piece thigh/drumstick meal with beans and rice. That wasn't bad, just unremarkable. Bought a Groupon for this place, and it was a great deal for 2 burritos and 2 drinks. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Sadly, the food didn't do anything for me or Dad. We explained to our order taker that we hadn't been in before, so she was very helpful about describing their salsa options for the burrito. Unfortunately, she said that even the pico de gallo was spicy. We ordered our burritos without any salsas. They were SOOOOO dry. Even the tortillas themselves were dry, as though they had been grilled to be heated rather than steamed. All in all, it was just the wrong place for a spice-averse diner to eat. Without the Groupon, the pricing is analagous to a Qdoba or Chipotle and both of of those have hot steamed tortillas and salsas that don't burn my mouth. We were looking for Mexican food that wouldn't break the bank and when we arrived, the place wasn't very appealing and the menu looked outdated but im telling you this: the food was so fresh and so delicious. I always get the carna sada tacos wherever I go, and the ones I had here were the best I've ever had! The tortillas tasted authentic and the meat was so juicy and soft-not dry like some I've had. The flavors were so on point! My mother ordered the chicken and that was even delicious and had a smoked wood taste with a hint of spice. I will be coming back and absolutely recommend this place to others. My meal came with 5 tacos and was either $5.99 or $7.99 I can't remember but either one is still a really good price considering what you pay elsewhere. read more

We had bought a Groupon to another Mexican restaurant in the same area a while back and thought it was awful so when I saw my wife and purchased this one I wasn't sure if it was the same place so I thought I would call to see if it was the same place and if the Groupon was still valid. Had a new headset I was trying out and so when I called a girl answered "Fiesta Chicken" and within (not kidding) within two seconds said nothing else just hung up. Called back with the same result. I admit... My Bad. Called back with the headset unplugged and a young guy answered. Tried to tell him my plight with the Groupon and he replied that he was not a mind reader or a Seer so how was he supposed to tell if it was still valid. I told him I could read him the numbers etc off the Groupon site but gzzzzz his tude was so crappy... I thought I would go through the process again but he was just so abrupt and rude (I told him exactly that) that I told him he could keep his damned stuff and his attitude and... stuff them both. Go somewhere where they appreciate your business and have at least a small amount of manors and politeness. So... This is the best chicken in town. Spicy and juicy, and priced very reasonably. They also make a broccoli salad that we just love (the other sides are good, but the broccoli stands out). They make a good guacamole, but it's a little pricey. I went to this place, which I never heard about, because of the weekly yelp! Mexican food is by far my favorite! I have a weakness. However, I generally stick to what I love and haven't tried many other things when it comes to Mexican. I, however, wanted to try the tortilla soup, but I didn't. I stuck with the beef burrito supreme. It was super big and flavorful. It was somewhat on the dry side for me, but salsa fixed that. The tortilla was pretty dry and broke open pretty easily. First time eating here - checked it out because of the reviews on Yelp that likened it to El Pollo Loco. Well, the chicken is definitely charbroiled like El Pollo Loco but that's where the similarities end. The flavor is nothing like El Pollo Loco though it's good in its own right - almost a teriyaki type of seasoning on it. Beware: the Caesar salad, although listed on the menu as breast meat is a mix of white and dark meat and appears to be the previous day's leftovers soaked in a sauce to disguise the texture. I would not recommend the salad. We also ordered the breast and wing combo which was pretty tasty and the broccoli salad redeeming. The sauces were all very spicy - including the creamy cilantro dressing but overall good flavored. If I ever eat here again I will get a salad minus the chicken and order a breast on the side :) read more

FInally got around to visiting Fiesta Chicken after a friend's recommendation. I ordered the Chicken Burrito and nachos. I'm from San Diego and thus extremely critical of Mexican Food. The burrito was a good size, the chicken was seasoned well and tasty. The orangish salsa I had with it was a great degree of spiciness and had a great flavor. Great burrito. The nachos were good not great. Chips were a bit stale but even stale, the chicken, beans, cheese and salsa made them alright. Highly recommended. I'll be back. read more
