Waitress had an attitude from the very beginning and was downright rude. Ordered a quesadilla and was given a corn tortilla with meat, which is a taco. No one in our group ate more than one bite. I get it. I'm a food snob. Based on the restaurants we passed, Lawrenceburg TN is not a gastronome's paradise. T and I stopped at Fiesta for lunch, encouraged by the number of cars outside. "Must be really good!" he said. Note to self: parking lots aren't necessarily a gauge of great food. Starting on a high note, frozen margaritas are just as I like 'em: fruity and potent. Another plus: lunch specials are served daily, not just weekdays. "I'll have a bowl of chicken soup," I said. (If you've never tried it, Mexican chicken soup with avocado and chunks of white meat, is really good!) "Sorry," our waiter -- a really nice fellow -- replied. "We don't have any." Back to the lunch menu, I chose the taco salad fajita, 'cheese sauce on the side, please.' The salad wasn't much of a salad, sort of mushy, but the accompanying sauce -- I think it was queso, was a pretty good dip for chips. My husband ordered some kind of enchiladas, which he rated three stars. It was okay, but not standout. In summation, this may very well be the best restaurant on the strip, but no chance would I go out of my way to eat there. read more

We are Tennessee natives who spent a long time in Texas, my parents were there for 25 years before we came back. We lived at a border AFB so we know our Mexican food! Food: It's good, worth the price, this is not expensive except almost $2.50 for any fountain drink. The flavors in the food are present, everything was cooked properly. The initial chips and salsa are tasty, not too hot, but good flavor. I had the Chimichanga Fiesta (In the pic) and it was delicious. My mother had the Enchiladas Supremo, and said she enjoyed. The veggies and pico were very fresh, the foot was flavorful and hot when it came out. The tea was good. Service: Definitely lackluster. You could tell the staff could care less you were there. They huddle in a group eating a platter for chicken wings and being louder than guests even though the place was pretty packed. They were off-putting when you asked anything, but drinks were filled though took about ten minutes to get them but the chips and salsa were instant. Service needs work. This is why they didn't get 5 stars. Environment: Seemed clean. Noise level was good, music there but very low. The step outside is very very high for a person with trouble walking or an older person, the handicap ramp is on the far side. read more

I gave them the benefit of the doubt We ordered the same thing 4 times before I gave a 2 star review, my girlfriend likes the cheesy chicken nachos at Mexican restaurants and all 4 times we ordered it at this Mexican Restaurant first of all it was really really dry all 4 times secondly the tips of the nachos and the cheese that are sticking up out of the plate were burned where they made the plate then stuck it under heat lamps or in the oven until the other dishes are done and it burned the tips of the chips and a lot of the cheese all 4 times we ordered this dish. Besides this problem the red molé sauce on the enchiladas is bitter and bland here read more

What a gem! We were driving through on our way from Nashville to Muscle Shoals. We love our awesome Mexican food in Nashville, along Nolensville Pike, and this place competes with the best of them! Great chips, salsa & queso. Surprise stand-outs were the guacamole and pico de gallo!! Sometimes these two items can be "throwaway plate fillers." This was the absolute worst dining experience we have ever had. The taco meat had the consistency of potted meat and tasted horrible. The sauce on the enchiladas looked and tasted burned. The steak on my son's quesadilla was tough and bland. My other son had the Chimichanga Fiesta and was very disappointed in the taste and appearance of the plate. The chicken in one of the Chimichangas was baked and not grilled. The shrimp Chimichanga was raw. The steak Chimichanga tasted as if all the flavoring had been mashed out. Well I certainly would order to go or pick up again. I order over the phone about 20 min before I was planning on being there since I was only ordering one meal with no sides on a Monday I knew it wouldn't take long or so I thought. When I ordered the pollo they said 15 minutes. I got there after 20 min and paid but then I was forced to wait another 20 minutes before my food was brought out. The restaurant was not crowded but did seem mismanaged. When the waiter did bring out my food on a cart with other drinks for a table instead of bringing me my food then serving the table he served the table drinks first then finally brought my food. We went to Fiesta Mexicana tonight before we went to the movies. Our movie was scheduled for 9:30 pm and we showed up at Fiesta Mexicana at 7:10 Pm and waited at the door to be seated for almost 20 minutes then when we finally got seated it took about 5-10 minutes for someone to come get our drink order. We finally got our drinks and ordered our food. It took until 8:45 to get our food and we had to put it in to go boxes and leave. I was very unhappy with my " taco salad " that came out to be shredded chicken on a plate with lettus on top and nothing else. I had my husband and 2 of our friends with us and the two friends sat without drinks almost the entire time and when we got seated, got our drinks, and our food we were never once given silverware to eat with we just got lucky that the table beside us had silverware on it with napkins even though nobody was sitting there. We snagged silverware from the other table only to find out our food didn't come for another hour after that so we didn't need it anyways. I have never had an experience like this here before and I am very upset to post this review. Our server was Aubrey Baker and she was wonderful this is not her fault in the least. I would recommend if you do go here to request Aubrey she is the best one in there. read more
