I did my research, and asked everyone who came through the coffee stand that I work at who had a sort of doodle in their car where they got their dogs groomed. Everyone always had wonderful things to say about Lindsay's, and I'm so glad I listened to the good word of mouth, because they did a wonderful job! They took their time which is what Paisley would have needed to make it a positive experience. She's slow to warm up to new sounds and people, and they took care of her needs. I brought my year old golden doodle to get his summer cut. I was aware some parts of him were…read morematted since his hair was the longest it's been. I told the groomer I was aware of this and she told me that she would only need to shave his tail. I told her I wanted him short enough to stay cool but not so short I could see his skin. She showed me a picture of a previous doodle she did and I said that looked great. I get him back and he is completely shaved down where you can see his skin which makes it look patchy and his face/ears were left poofy and much longer than the rest of his body. It is nowhere near similar to the picture of the doodle she showed me she was going to model his cut after. If my dog was severely matted to where he needed to get this shaved, she should have called me and given me a heads up since she said his tail was the only thing needing to be shaved prior. I paid $120 for a buzz cut I could have done myself. It also looks like they cut his ear hair but did not actually clean them. The staff was friendly but I will not come back.
