We were communicating while he was out of town and I would have gladly bought a car from him. Instead I bought a car from somebody who will say is just basically I got screwed. And Chris is going out of his way to help me even though we have never done business. That is such a rare quality that I can only hope that anybody with enough sense would see this and buy a car from him. He has been overwhelmingly supportive, offered his help as best he can wherever he can, and even stayed in touch just talking back and forth about how badly things have turned on for me with the purchase of the car I made from somebody on Craigslist who is also a wholesaler kind of guy. Anyway five stars aren't enough. I'm sure whatever products he have or quality products. But beyond that the integrity, the kindness, the actual caring far beyond what must anyone would be used to or think possible. In fact I'm trying to find a way to get rid of or get out of what I bought and get something from him. I begun telling everybody about him. Anybody looking for a car. Again what an incredibly beyond professional professional doesn't describe it because he's beyond professional what an incredibly kind thoughtful and helpful human being

About 20 years ago, my family…read morehad two very bad experiences here when trying to purchase a car, and ever since then I honestly avoided this dealership completely. We walked in yesterday with zero intention of buying anything -- we were just planning to look at a car and leave. To my surprise, we ended up buying a car... and I still can't believe it myself. The reason is Michael, our salesperson. He completely changed my perspective of this dealership. He was friendly, patient, and genuinely easy to talk to. He gave us honest comparisons, explained the deals clearly, and never once made us feel pressured -- which is very different from what we experienced here in the past. Michael made sure our budget and needs were respected, and he helped us find exactly what worked for us. His professionalism and sincerity made the entire process smooth and comfortable. Because of him, I now see Toyota Fremont in a completely different light. Thank you, Michael, for restoring our trust and making this a positive experience.

(SERVICE CENTER)…read more Three Months for a Warranty Repair, Multiple Misdiagnoses, and My Car Was Returned Unsafe I brought my 2021 Toyota Supra GR A91 Edition to Fremont Toyota for warranty work because the vehicle could no longer measure its oil level. This is a well-documented issue on the A90/A91 Supra platform, with the oil pump being a known potential cause. My service advisor assured me they would take care of it. This was in Late May After diagnosing the car, they told me it only needed an oil level sensor. I approved the repair Early June. The replacement part took about three weeks to arrive, which I understand is outside the dealership's control. What was frustrating was the complete lack of communication. I never received a call or update when the part arrived. Every status update throughout this entire repair process came because I contacted them first. Once the repair finally started Mid June, another week passed with no communication. I called again and was told they had discovered another part was needed before they could continue. Again, no proactive update from the service department. Another week went by with complete silence, so I drove to the dealership unannounced just to find out what was going on. To my surprise, my car was already finished Early July and ready for pickup. No one had contacted me. Unfortunately, the repair did not fix the problem. The oil level still would not read correctly, so I had to bring the car back. During the second visit Early July, I asked if they could show me diagnostic data confirming the oil pump was operating correctly. They could not. I then borrowed a professional scan tool from a friend's shop and found an "abnormal oil pressure" fault code. I brought this information to Fremont Toyota, and they agreed to investigate further. After inspecting the vehicle, they told me the oil control valve had failed. I specifically asked if they were certain it was not the oil pump and whether they had verified the pump was functioning properly. They assured me the oil pump was fine and that only the control valve needed replacement. Two more weeks passed with no communication. Once again, I had to call them myself to learn the status. I was then informed that replacing the control valve had not resolved either the fault code or the original problem. Only after that unsuccessful repair did they conclude that the oil pump itself was faulty, which was one of the primary concerns from the beginning. Nearly three months after first dropping off my vehicle, the oil pump was finally replaced and the issue was resolved. Even then, I was never notified that the repair was complete. I had to contact the service center myself to ask whether my car was ready for pickup. Car was picked up Early August. I thought the experience was finally over until the following day, when I found a bolt on my garage floor. Concerned, I took the car to a trusted independent shop for an inspection and alignment. They discovered that the skid plate protecting the oil pan had not been properly reinstalled. Multiple fasteners were loose, and three bolts were completely missing. Had I continued driving, the skid plate could have detached while I was on the freeway. Waiting for warranty parts is understandable. Diagnosing a difficult problem is understandable. What is not acceptable is the repeated lack of communication, multiple misdiagnoses, requiring the customer to continually chase updates, and ultimately returning a vehicle with critical underbody panels left unsecured. The technicians eventually repaired the original issue, but the overall experience left me with very little confidence in the quality control and attention to detail. After almost three months without my car, I expected better communication, better diagnostics, and a final inspection that ensured the vehicle was actually safe to return to the customer.

1 STAR -- Extremely concerning experience I purchased a used…read morevehicle from this dealership, and within less than 24 hours of taking possession, I started experiencing serious problems. The vehicle developed a leak, which I have documented on video, electrical components began glitching, and there was a strong burnt-plastic/electrical smell coming through the A/C vents. Even more concerning, fumes/odor entered the cabin while I was driving and I experienced a headache, lightheadedness, and nausea. I contacted/returned to the dealership immediately because these are not minor cosmetic issues -- they are potential safety concerns. What made the experience even more frustrating was the response I received. Instead of immediately taking the situation seriously, the person at the desk suggested that maybe I had hit something. I had owned the vehicle for less than 24 hours. I found that response dismissive and extremely disappointing, especially considering the seriousness of what I was reporting. Thankfully, I have video documenting the leak and I am keeping records of everything that has happened since purchasing the vehicle. I did not expect to purchase a used vehicle and, within hours, be dealing with a leak, electrical glitches, a burning smell, fumes inside the cabin, and then have the possibility suggested that I somehow caused the problem. I am currently asking the dealership to take the vehicle back and resolve this situation appropriately. I will update this review to reflect how management ultimately handles the matter. Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this dealership.

We had work done…read moreon my car in 2025, Tyler was our service advisor and when we returned all the service people had been changed over and even the mechanic who worked on my car was gone. Our first visit back was pleasant, Mauricio was especially helpful and seemed to care about his customers. This time... service was pretty bad. To be fair, the appointment I thought I'd scheduled was not confirmed, so we went in hoping we'd be able to get an oil change without that confirmation. I sat in the car for a long time. There weren't any cars there except for mine and one other who also did not have an appointment. Ismael( maybe the mechanic or a porter) was the most friendly. He was the only person who came over to check on us and let us know we'd be seen as soon as someone was available. The only other customer in line was seen before I was- even though I had arrived first. Adrian finally came over, again asked if I had an appointment, asked me to leave the key inside and go wait inside until he finished checking me in. While the other customer was being talked to about his car and service needed, I sat in the waiting room for another 20 mins while Adrian ate his Wing Stop and chatted on speaker to a mechanic about another customer. My husband came inside and my car was moved to the back so he decided to ask Adrian if we could leave- since the car was checked in. There were a few things they had suggested we also get serviced- once we communicated we were only there for the oil change the attitude seemed to flourish. Pick up was transactional... Ismael asked if they should wash my car and Adrian stated very clearly "if there's a crack on the window NO" - he knows there was a crack on the bottom on the front window, he checked me in. I thought most dealerships hand washed, I could be wrong. This is a customer service position. Front facing to the public. Who I think should be the friendliest, most helpful and informative especially if trying to upsell. Not the case here. Maybe we will return maybe we won't but it sure won't be with an appointment scheduled with Adrian.

Backstory: Saw a used FOREIGN CAR (be nice), came & checked out, purchased car. Day one, everything SEEMED good. Al (Business Mgr) even helped me seal the deal. smh. I returned next day to get old vehicle I left overnight, & discuss a few undisclosed issues noticed after car purchased. Reputable ppl advised/showed me car was previously repaired, brakes not tight enough, slight rattle (engine), & few other issues. At first they were accommodating & offered a tech to look at these issues. Someone saw a note on my keys that said a break issue/fuel pump & the service advisor was looking for me. When I spoke to the advisor later, he said everything was fine, which wasn't the note seen on my keys. This caused a dispute with my witness. Ultimately, they denied anything was wrong as "the car was recently serviced." Annoyed from the back & forth, I left & as I got 2 blocks away WHITE SMOKE starts coming out the exhaust pipes of my car as I'm inclining the overpass. I make a U-turn & go back to dealership. I immediately ask for Eddie (sales mgr), & tell him the issue. We then take him & the salesman on test drive to see white smoke from my exhaust. Upon return, Eddie acknowledges the smoke, still insisting it's normal. I looked him dead in his face & said I don't feel comfortable taking car home (live 50mi away/car blowing smoke). I asked them to keep car & inspect it.. He said they would not know what to check for. I said the white smoke coming out the back! TF?. THEY SAID IT'S NORMAL, FOR YOUR CAR..TO BLOW WHITE SMOKE.. AFTER ONE DAY PURCHASE.. Here's the icing on the cake... I have a 1mo/1k mile warranty (have in writing), BUT THEY REFUSED TO INSPECT THE ISSUE I REPORTED, UNDER THE WARRANTY. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! I expected more from Eddie & Al; these issues aren't normal by far! That's a complete breach of contract & that's a big problem.. To have advised I didn't feel comfortable in a car purchased from YOUR DEALERSHIP & you dismiss it is REPULSIVE! My engine could've blew up. I have zero tolerance for this in a newly purchased car. The joke will NOT fall on me!

Thu 4/2/2026: Took my Jeep to Fremont CDJR for service. Mind you that this Jeep has been to this dealership for regular servicing for the last 50k miles since I bought it. Showed my dash light to the advisor and he starts the doom and gloom talk on how this can be due to transmission issues and when I did the transmission flush, etc. So I asked him a simple question that if it's really needed and then how come they didn't do it before as the Jeep has always been serviced here, well no answer to that question as expected. But that's fine because I know that's not the issue. SA calls me towards the end of the day and confirms that FAD needs replacement (that's expected) but here's the fun part, he claims it's possibly caused by "oversized custom wheels" so warranty will not cover it and it will be out of pocket! Then I ask him why he thinks it's oversized because my aftermarket wheels are the same exact size as the OEM Summit trim and then the story starts changing. He tells me that once the tech has written it on the service manual he can't change it....but, here's the best part...I told him that I have the stock wheels and tires so he asks me to bring it back with stock wheels and tires and they can POTENTIALLY fix it. Ok, I mean I thought your tech change the writing but how come the whole diagnosis will change once I change the wheels??? Fri 4/3/2026: Picked up my Jeep and they charge me $325 + credit card fee for the (wrong) diag. Attached picture of the wheels that I took when I picked up my Jeep showing the wheels/tire size. Thu 4/16/2026: Took my Jeep to Walnut Creek CDJR, same wheels/tires and no change. SA there called me after 2 hours that issue is confirmed to be FAD related and they will fix it under my Mopar extended warranty and it will be ready to pickup by next day. Fri 4/17/2026: Picked up the Jeep from Walnut Creek CDJR, paid them $200 deductible for the Mopar extended warranty. Picture of the Jeep at the Walnut Creek CDJR delivery bay showing that I had the same wheels/tires as before when they fixed my Jeep Mon 4/19/2026: SA from Walnut Creek CDJR calls to and lets me know that they refunded my $200 because it was fixed under the powertrain warranty. Mon 4/27/2026: Called Fremont CDJR and asked them politely if I can have an appointment with the service department manager because I would like to discuss about my previous service (as I want to get a refund of the $325 for the wrong diag). She pulls up my record and confirms that it's for the 4/4 appointment. She then tells me that the service manager will call me. Been a week and never got a call from them! The service department is literally running a scam and refusing warranty work so they can charge people for the parts and labor. Never taking my Jeep back to this dealer again!
