Georgia pride (didn't like the apple on the burguer)
Victor B.

Atmosphere it's good, service was meh, the burguêr (the meat was amazing, correct point, excepcional) but the bread wasn't even toasted and they put salad under the meat, so gets soggy. Potatoes looked home made but weren't crispy. Would return but don't expect to much

Amazing as always. This is our go to spot in blue ridge and it never disappoints. Steak sandwiches was great. Fuji salad is light and refreshing but still feels like a hearty meal. Wings were super crispy and a good size. Sauce was great but I did have to ask for more since they were a little dry for my preference. House cut fries are the best. This place rocks!!

Good food and truly a tavern style experience. I personally loved the music. Our kids enjoyed the arcade. They warned us they were short on staff as many called out. However it didn't falter our experience we waited and our waitress was still attentive. Will be back again. My wife and I both had the club as we were in a hurry to make a train ride. I will admit amazing fries as it's been a while since I've had some good fries.

Hey hey friends!!! We stopped in to say hi (4/27) but "the boss gets Sunday off". Jack Daniel's burger was FIRE!!!!!!!! Tuukka says hi! See you again soon.

Mexican street corn

I love the food in blue ridge! I am not typically a burger person. However, I was very impressed with the burger selection and ordered the blackened blue burger. It was so tender and juicy. I really enjoyed it a lot. I was also a fan of the fresh and delicious fries. They were so good! The Mexican street corn was good as well. I am definitely a fan and would come back again!

Great option for dog friendly dining. We spent the morning at lake blue ridge and then came for lunch. They provided dog bowls and a treat. The kids meals were huge! The beer was cold and music was good.

Twisted taco and elote

I was in Blue Ridge with my family for the weekend and we were looking for a dinner spot. Fightingtown is pretty popular, so we had to put our name down and then wait about an hour so I recommend going and putting a name down as soon as possible! Once we were able to be seated, our staff was really attentive and food was served relatively quickly. I loved the music themed decor + menu. I wasn't particularly enthused by the local beer choices and ended up trying a local cider. We also ordered chips and salsa which was fresh and homemade. For dinner, I had the twisted taco special which was a mahi mahi taco that day! I had a side of elote with it as well. The taco and elote were actually so delicious!! They were bright and tangy and I devoured my dinner. Overall, Fightingtown is a decent spot in Blue Ridge, especially for a large family dinner.

My buddy tried the megadeth and died, I do not recommend. There is way too much cheese on that burger

Nope not working! Updating

We are traveling to blue ridge on the 31st with two labs. Is it possible for us to bring them?

I've seen dogs outside but not inside.

Do you need reservations?

Hello Ashley, Unfortunatley we do not accept reservations. We are a first come first served restaurant. If we are on a wait we can text you when your table is ready. Just…

Is the patio or deck open in January for dining outside?...with heaters maybe?

Yes it is! The patio is fully heated!

Is there a happy hour?

We don't have anregularly scheduled Happy Hour but Thursdays are $2 PBR and Miller Lite Bottles and we often have cocktail specials as well. Come see us!

We shared the Brussel sprouts, the spinach and artichoke dip, and the three Onion and Apple soup. That soup was killer!!! Two in our party had the Tomahawk Pork chops. One had the Salmon over Teriyaki rice. I had the peach habanero meatball appetizer as a meal. All were really really good. Kaya was our server and she was wonderful. We are having dessert elsewhere but we will be back and will try it next time based on how good the food was.

The gal behind the counter was very prompt and courteous and answered my questions about options on the menu. There is a big stove across the bar so you can see some of the cooking that gets done. The only issue with that is the heat...I didn't want my frosty beer glass to warm up while I enjoyed one of their local brews. I'd rather sit away from the cooking action. I ordered the crab cakes which came with coleslaw. The crab cakes had a nice sauce decorating the top of each cake. I asked for more because the crab cakes were a bit more bread filled than crab filled. I know I am spoiled with west coast Dungeness crab as you get a lot of chunks and not well flaked blue crab, but I really was hoping for more crab than I got for the money. The coleslaw was just okay. It was a nice mayo based dressing but lacked a tangy/sweet combo that I just adore. I am not impressed enough to return.

The couple clearly knew the hostess and several waitresses. Ten minutes later, the couple had their drinks, their 2 orders of fried chicken and a basket of bread on their table. We were still waiting on our food. Half an hour later, we still did not have our food. The couple next to us finished their meal, and even got a to-go drink. We asked our waitress what was happening, and she said they had a lot of take out orders. Ten minutes later, it was pretty evident that we weren't going to be served our food. We left $5 on the table and the waitress apologized with no explanation. The hostess wouldn't even make eye contact. We wasted almost an hour sitting there waiting for something that was not going to happen. I don't think I've ever been treated like that in any restaurant. I highly would NOT recommend Pete's Place, unless you know the staff and then you will be treated better. Been coming to Blue Ridge for years and will give other local restaurants my business.

My server was pleasant and covered a lot of tables. She tackled it like a pro without making me feel neglected. I ordered a side of bacon with cheese grits and a half order of French toast. The bacon was thick and salty. The grits were delicious because they used shredded cheese versus a slice of American cheese product. They were firm and not soupy. The French toast was essentially a slice of bread cut in half so I was a little disappointed in that. In addition, it was undercooked but tasty with a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top. I asked if the corned beef hash was homemade or canned. I loved her honesty as it helped me make the decision to forgo it. It's a quaint family owned restaurant that is a good place to stop for breakfast. Expect simple and you'll enjoy it.
